New location from what they said, I had not been to the other one. It's close to where I live and I knew it would be nice and clean so I decided to give it shot get a pedicure. She did a nice job and friendly. Make sure to make appointment. Cash or zelle payments only! Support your local businesses.

After 6 months I FINALLY got my nails done! I'm so happy! My experience with Annie was GREAT. My sister (who is super picky when it comes to her nails) told me about Annie & I had a great experience. The nail salon is located at her house in the City of Pacoima. I parked in the street in front of her house, but she told me that in case you can't find a spot you are welcome to park outside her driveway (like it's ok to block). My appointment was at 9:00 am so upon arrival I called her, it looks like a regular house, but once you go inside she has a cute-full on nail salon. She recommended the "dip powder" manicure, so cute! My nails look thicker & longer & she said they will last longer than the regular gel manicure. Annie is very nice & attentive, her work is BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend her. Can't wait for my next appointment. Appointments are required she is super flexible, I'm happy I had a 9am since it will be super hot today. Happy Saturday!

Amazing work done by Ms. Ann! Her exceptional choice of colors surprise me once again! We first sat down and talk about design choices and what my final total will be. Mind you, she does have a $20 down deposit, so that is included with your total PLUS the service labor AND whatever you requested extra which brings you to the final total. After we settle the total, she starts her magic with our wonderful conversation and vibing as always. Ms. Ann always go above and beyond when it comes to exceptional service. She is open to opinions, and gives you honest opinion on what you will pay extra or what she is capable of design-wise. I have been a returning client since December of 2023, and has alway leave this place more than satisfied. Thank you for always taking good care of me.

Possibly the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I wish I read the reviews before going because all the reviews about customer service are true. I call around 10:30 to see if I could go in at 2. I had seen posts on yelp and could not tell that it was a private salon so I was trying to make an appointment with the person who I saw was doing most of the gel x. They got confused about who I was talking about and were rude. I did not know it was a 2 person salon. When she got confused she said okay just come in at 2. I had another appointment before but I finished early around 12:30 and I called and asked if by any chance they could take me earlier. I told them if not, it was fine cause I would come at 2. Initially, they said no but called back and told me I could come. I was already in the car at that point and my navigation said I was 10 minutes away but I got there 20 minutes after u called. When I got there, she said i would have to wait cause I was 10 minutes later than I said I would be. I didn't mind. From the moment I sat down to start, they had attitude the whole time. I was looking for a picture of exactly what I wanted but she did not want to get started until I showed her even though I was still getting gel x. I finally found the picture and showed it to them which is the picture I added to this review. I asked what color she thought was closest to and she handed me the color book and did not want to help out at all. It felt like the two were talking shit about their customers the whole time. Later, I was trying to specify what nail shape I wanted. I showed her the picture again and she said this was not similar to the gel x shapes. I tried to explain to her how u wanted it but she kept saying no so I told her to just do it how she knew how to do it. She got frustrated because she was confused and refused service. I was showing them pictures of exactly what I wanted to make it easier for them but she got annoyed because she didn't know how to do it and asked me to leave. I don't understand what's so difficult about a wine red manicure with this shape??? Even though they were giving me attitude from the second I get there I tried to be polite. Every single step they would take, they would say, by the way this is an additional 10 dollars etc. I didn't care about the price and expected the whole service but they acted like I was going to receive the service and run away without paying or not be able to pay it. In the end, they charged me for taking off my gel and merely cleaning my cuticles. The lady was even giving attitude to the customer next to me. Very impatient, very rude, and get overwhelmed when you ask for specific nail shapes and designs.

Would absolutely go here again! I needed a place that was open late on a Sunday, and they accepted me as a walk-in. Jamie did my nails, and she was EXCELLENT! We hit it off very well and it was a lovely experience!! Very comfortable and private location. I would love to highlight that I've never had someone cut back dry skin/cuticles and not have at least one small cut (I have very sensitive skin) but no cuts at all! She was amazing! Glad to have a new favorite spot!!

Found this nail spot last minute, and I am so satisfied with my gel x manicure. I got there as a walk in not really knowing if they would take me in and they were able to squeeze me in (I got lucky). The response is actually hilarious because i have ON VIDEO STILL of the cops that I CALLED saying what you guys where doing to me was illegal and made you move your car to let me off the property [[HIGHLIGHT]]i had came to the salon attempting to do a walk up appointment i was not being rude or aggressive in any way or "demanding " anyone to drop what they where doing to do my nails the sign on the door said ring bell so i did and was answered very rudely by the owner and was asked what do i want in a rude tone and i said oh well i was trying to get my toes done and she then told me no because i didnt have an appointment being it was my first time at this location i was unware it was appointment only no sign on the building state that they are a only appointment salon[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] so i said okay and walked away because of the attitude i was already receiving so yes i went to my car wrote a review about the situation and 30 seconds later [[HIGHLIGHT]]green shirt lady came outside yelling at me i told her that was very unprofessional of her so what did i do i updated my review about her walking up to my car and yelling at me and she came outside once again after my updated review and started yelling at me again[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] she then proceeded to have her son block me in from leaving and again the cops that I CALLED said that they are not allowed to do that the cops did state that you guys did not want to be back at this property going forward and trust me that is fine with me cause i would never want to support a nasty salon like this i then proceed to leave after the owner was told to move the vehicle cause remember cops said that was not okay for you guys to do as i was driving off i hear the lady yelling about being scared being posted on tiktok and that I HAVE TO DELETE MY VIDEO to which the cops responded I have the right to record the situation i have video proof of all of this happening yes you have the right to refuse service that is fine but I have a right to leave a review and record and i was harassed by the owner because of my review had she been more polite about the situation things probably would have gone a different way but clearly thats not the case so here we are

Unfortunately, this is by far the most unprofessional and unethical nail salon I have stepped foot in. My two friends and I called in asking if they had any availabilities for the services that we needed (1 full set, two fills, 1 pedicures). She asked if we were close by and I stated that we were 5 minutes down the street and she said if we could make it there within 5 minutes, we could be assisted. Due to traffic, we arrived within 9 minutes. Upon arrival, we were confused as their salon looks like a house. We tried to open the door and it was locked. We were confused at this point but the worker came out shortly asking what services we needed. I let her know that I had called, apologized for being four minutes late, and at this point- we were expecting her to tell us that she was unable to take us because she had an upcoming appointment. However, she didn't. She allowed us to come in and had one of my friends sit at the tables with her mom as he helped my other friend on the spa chair. She asked me to wait at the guest chair so I did. We then noticed that there were signs everywhere stating they they were "cash only" so I was worried that we were unable to stay because we only had card payments. The mother rudely stated that they had an ATM machine. While waiting, I decided to look at the gel nail polishes on the shelf. I decided to rotate one of the nail polish bottles to get a better look at the color, until the mother yelled at me stating that I could not touch anything. I was caught by surprise because I have never been to a nail salon that had this rule. So naturally, I had an anxious and confused look. As I sat back now, the mother speaks in Vietnamese stating that I had a bitchy face and attitude. Plot twist- I am Vietnamese and speak the language. I was taken aback as I had no idea why she felt this way and didn't say anything because I assumed she was just upset possibly due to the recent pandemic. So I let that slide. Until her daughter responded that she agreed and that they both did not like my attitude nor what I looked like. Mind you, I was dressed appropriately, called in politely, and when we arrived four minutes late and did not have cash payments- I would have been perfectly fine if they told us they could not help us. During this time, I texted my two friends privately telling them what was said about me and that I felt very uncomfortable being there. Similarly, my friends were shocked by the mistreatment. The mother and daughter both then continued to speak in Vietnamese stating that they disliked how the three of us were texting each other and continued to insult the three of us. I found it very disrespectful and unprofessional and decided to stand up for us. I responded back to them in Vietnamese- stating that if they did not like us from the minute they saw us, they had every right to refuse service. This was when things got out of hand. The daughter stood up, continued to insult me in Vietnamese, preached about how they had the right to refuse my service, stated that I should have told them I was Vietnamese, and asked me to leave. After this dispute, I left. My friends wanted to leave as well, but I told them that it was okay and to just let the workers finish the service. I am very ashamed to have come here and to be disrespected by people who should be professionals. Contrary to belief, I had told my friends that I have been to multiple nail salons and never have any of the workers spoke badly about their customers and to not think this way of the workers at Nail by N. The daughter and mother proved me wrong. I have never had this encounter and will not be returning. The three of us are RN's, therefore, we are empathetic and understand the rigor and stress that comes with customer/patient service. The way that we were treated here, goes against all ethics and professionalism. My mother also works at a nail salon, so when I informed of her their behavior- she was in disbelief. I hope they get their act together and learn to be professional workers. It is very unfortunate, as I looked up nailbyn's instagram and noticed that her work is great. It is a waste that she is a rude, incompetent, and unprofessional worker. FURTHERMORE- I didn't think it could get any worse until I read this (refer to my photo) First of all, please do not run a business if you cannot communicate professionally. Second of all, it is unethical for someone to speak about a mental hospital in this way. Being a nurse, I find this extremely offensive.

I showed up with no notice or appointment as It was an emergency and the owner very kindly assisted me. She gave me the best service ever and the result did not disappoint. She did acrylics on my nails and toes with a good pedicure and she makes you feel very comfortable and worked very professionally. And also added rhinestones on my toes as my birthday is coming up, made me feel very happy and special. I will definitely return and 100% recommend!!! read more

Before coming here please just read the bad reviews and READ THE REPLIES from the owners and tell me if that is the type of business you want to give your money to and support. I left a review before and the response was so wild and unprofessional and frankly so untrue it was actually laughable, although I took it down because her reply was so irrelevant and made it seem as though I was the problem. After every bad review or interaction it seems its a pattern for her to respond always blaming the customer with nasty comments and insults... ive never seen a business respond in such ways. I work in customer service as a server and am very aware of certain people that may be entitled or rude. I would never go into any place and be that way. Basically my experience is that I found this salon that is open late and I just got off of work. So I parked outside and started to look it up online for maybe 5 mins? I was smoking and chilling in my car before I wanted to go inside. The lady comes out my car pretty rude already telling me it was a "private salon" and that I cannot park here. I said yes I am here for the salons and interested in getting my nails done. She said she only takes appointments but will take me anyway. When I got inside I was nothing but my normal self but the two ladies continued to make comments like yes this is a private salon not just ANYONE can park here.? Ive never heard of a "private" salon before so I simply asked what do they mean by that. She answered as if I was attacking her and was incredibly sarcastic, rude, and hostile. She looked at me like im dumb and what what do you mean what does it mean?? The rest of the comversation leading up was just weird and uncomfortable. I picked up on them being rude towards me and I simply said i feel like you are being rude and she laughed in my face. I just walked out because id rather not give my money or service to people like that. She has no manners or hospitality. Im shocked to see that she has loyal customers with how many bridges she has burned already. To this day ive never had an experience like that anywhere Ive been. They seem to have A LOT of these scenarios from all the bad reviews Ive seen so its very evident WHO is the problem. Because I sure have never had this happen anywhere I go... I left so confused... it seemed as if they were annoyed that I was a walk in. Id much rather they just told me no walk ins and I would have left no problem. But instead she told me she would take me anyways and then made me feel as if im intruding. Of course she will deny everything. But what would I have to lie for? I have never left a bad review ever but I feel the need to warn others. She seems to be very nasty and not treat others with respect. All I did was ask her a question normally and her body language was very hostile and her tone was disrespectful. It seems as though I was bothering them and still to this day Im not sure why or what her problem is. Seems like this happens a lot. She will try and claim my eyes were "bloodshot" and i was incapable of holding a conversation. What a reach, you have nothing else to come up with to defend yourself. You dont need to remind me of any laws. I wasnt doing anything "illegal" in my car. And yes you are allowed to ask me questions. But you did NOT. You were rude and told me I couldnt park there even though i was in fact there for the salon. And what a LIAR you are. You did not kick me out from the premises. Thats what you say to everyones bad reviews lol. I told YOU that I will go somewhere else. I left by my own choice because i wanted to. I did not want to be in your salon anymore, i dont need to be treated with disrespect just to get my nails done. ALSO half the photos posted on your reviews are by you, its obvious. I asked a few questions, just trying to make conversation and was honestly just wondering. Who cares if you never heard that question before. Just answer it nicely. Just like I have never heard of a private salon before. You reply is simply all lies its hilarious. Whatever helps you sleep at night. read more

I was in desperate need of a mani and pedi & stumbled upon this nail salon. After reading the reviews I took my chances and made an appointment. For starters this establishment is its own private studio, there are a couple of spaces out front for you to park your car. The inside is so clean & relaxing , i felt safe and comfortable with the owner. The owner does only allow one person to go in (yourself) but she was kind enough to let my boyfriend in with me since i was her last appointment of the day. Her services and prices are reasonable, she took the time to help me look for charms that matched my inspo picture , she was even kind enough to ask if the length , color and shape of my nails were exactly how i wanted them. My friend and I went to this shop this past Saturday (10/28). Called last minute and said they take walk-ups. We came in around 7pm and it was just two ladies helping with a mani-pedi set so we didn't mind waiting. It was a cute shop, and looked private, which gave it a really nice intimate vibe. I was up first to do an acrylic removal, Jen helped me and took really good care of my nails! Took her time to do the removal and saved the length of my nails as well as focused on my cuticle care. She was so nice and was able to make recommendations on what I should get to make my nails stronger from my last set. My friend got Annie, who was welcoming and took her time to ensure my friend got the exact color she wanted. Both were really sweet and had good conversation with me and my friend- even offered us a small discount as it was our first time at the shop. Overall, my experience there was amazing, better than most places I've been. My nails were well taken care of and the quality of service was superb with just 2 women working there! read more

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this nail salon as I was searching to last minute get my nails done! Annie and Jen were both very kind and welcoming. They answered any questions I had about pricing and recommended so many beautiful colors and designs. I really loved how clean the salon was and how their inventory of nail colors and designs looked up to date and on trend. I love Annie and her work. Today she gave me a very natural, clear pink gel manicure to keep my nails healthy and looking clean. I took a break from hard gel but still have the hard support so that they don't break. We had a wonderful conversation and I love her new salon location. It's so clean, organized and welcoming. Just came back from the place and I loved it! First time trying this place after I moved to Noho. When I called in this morning, I specifically asked for 8 or later time. They booked me at 9pm which I was fine with but called me back to let me know I can come 15min earlier. I made it there, rang the bell and Annie came out to greet me. The whole time we were talking which made me feel relaxed. She's such a sweet lady. She gave me a great massage and even looked at pictures I showed her to choose the right color for me. The place is so private and clean which I really loved. They have so many options in colors and even have the options for matte for only $5 more. So glad I found my spot. read more

Highly recommend!! I showed up late due to my Lyft ride having trouble and they still took me. Both girls were very friendly during the whole process. BEWARE! THE WORST SERVICE I was excited to try this new neighborhood nail salon, and I'm so sorry I did. Normally I don't take him with me, but today had to take my 6 year old son that would have been on my phone anyway. The lady looked at us rude and pointed at a sign that said no kids, again I wasn't aware but since there was no one else there the lady said that was fine, only this time. Then I asked about payment and she said cash only, you can use our ATM and I didn't feel comfortable with that. She kept speaking to the younger girl there and overall didn't make you feel welcomed. Instead they both seemed annoyed. Parking is almost non-existent. Unfortunately my nail lady moved to another state. She was one of a kind lady. Heartbroken at having to find a new place. Hopefully this place learns to adapt to a new neighborhood and treat their surrounding people with kindness. Because this wasn't it. read more

Wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I'm not sure what I was thinking ringing the doorbell because this "private" salon as she claims in her responses is very sketchy and located in a very rural area. If I could give no stars I would. Who doesn't love money and a client who is always willing to spend even if the tech SUCKS at what she does ??? Meet this lady who runs the place is rude and talks at you like your dumb instead of being honorable and polite to their customers!!! I got my nails done 4 days ago and went back the next day because the gel polishes manicure I got kept chipping. My Lifestyle is not crazy I don't use my hands like that for it to come off so soon. She agreed to redo the nails I thought GREAT! and I kindly tipped her for her time. ( she got more than what she asked for !) The next day my gel polish lifted again. At this point I'm pissed. I've been going to Annie for the past year and I can't even think about going to anyone else. She does an incredible job with attention to detail and my gel lasts forever, even for a month. Personally I feel safe going to her location, they check your temperature at the door, and we're masked. She's pretty booked so FYI call to schedule an appointment in advance. She'll try to accommodate, but she's a busy lady and may not have appointments same day. read more

The customer service is terrible. They do not answer the phone but they take walk-ins. They are very short over the phone, before I could even ask what time I could come I was interrupted "with come in" and she hung up on me. By the time I got here they told me they were booked. She had a lot of suggestions and a variety of designs up her sleeve but what really impressed me was that she listened to what I wanted and worked around it. After 7 years of constantly having nails the pandemic hits leaving me without a nail tech. I had not been able to get my nails done since March and I finally found someone that is awesome! I was first a little skeptical when I read Annie does nails in her house but after seeing her set up it was equivalent to a nail salon. Super clean, she takes your temp at the door and is super professional. My nails are so bomb! I'm totally in love! I love how she cleans and disinfects as soon as she moves you from pedi chair to hand station. She is super strict and works by appt only. No more then 2 customers at a time. WOW! I've never experienced anything like this. Told me to come at 8:30. I walk in at 8:22 and this insane women tells me she doesn't feel comfortable with me there. Huh? Seriously?! I'm in utter shock. Responding to owner: Your accusations are flat-out lies, and I won't stand for it! I've never acted aggressively at any place, let alone a nail salon. The idea that I'd do something like that is absolutely ridiculous and has no basis whatsoever. These allegations are defamatory, and it's extremely upsetting to be falsely accused in this way. I am a professional women in the healthcare industry, and there's no reason for me to feel entitled or act aggressively in a nail salon or anywhere else. When you questioned why I was at the back, I was doing what many people do when they visit a nail salon - checking out the nail polish colors. It's a normal and harmless thing to do. Obviously, you are overly paranoid, I don't know what has happened to you in your past but that doesn't justify mistreating people or spreading lies about them. I used to always go to the previous location, but now it's at the own comfort of a home. I was a bit skeptical at first, considering the fact that Annie worked from home, but when you walk in, it looks like nothing but a legitimate salon! I don't have to worry about other people in the salon at the same time because she only takes clients one at a time, ONLY by appointment. I have been following Annie for a while and I urge you to do so if you haven't already. To begin with, she is always offering inexpensive set prices for high-quality work and service. I work very late sometimes and most nail salons are closed, but Annie is always open from dawn to dusk. I find it very convenient to schedule appointments with her as she is nearby and I know I'm always getting more than what I pay for. I will ensure you that you will not find anyone like Annie, someone who treats her clients individually with affection and altruism. Love, love, love my nails!!! I am always so happy when I get my nails done with Annie!! She is very fast and she somehow makes it look and feel amazing regardless. Annie is upfront about her pricing but it's more than affordable for me. She is always so busy but her hours are very flexible, and she somehow makes room for me when I book an appointment. Annie is a perfectionist and she is extremely cautious at this time disinfecting and wiping down EVERYTHING. Finding a quality nail tech has been so challenging but her work definitely speaks for itself!! I wouldn't think or suggest of going anywhere else! read more

I saw Annie's work on Instagram and I had to make an appointment, her work is stunning! I really liked how professional and neat everything was, even if the place is an at-home salon. I felt safe, comfortable, and pampered. She did an amazing job ensuring that the space was clean and consistently wiped down after every customer. She was very nice and my nails came out great! I made an appointment for a gel set and gel pedi. Their quality of service was exceptional. I did the diamond pedi and added on shoulder massage. I felt like a relaxed brand new person after. It was such a treat to meet the ladies. Wonderful customer service as well as nail service. Endless nail colors, friendly and professional. Perfect after a long week of work. I am a big fan of small businesses and I support the right ones. Annie was very kind, patient, and she did an incredible job. People should practice common decency. the owner is so rude and arrogant!! I tried to make an appointment but her attitude was so funky!!! She kept on saying wow and hung up on Me!! Am sure her attitude will change once word travel that she is a nasty person! Soon enough she will be out of busines. She's very sweet and was able to squeeze me in for the same. I had acrylics prior to my appointment, so my nails were super thin and sensitive. She was very gentle and fast. The way she makes conversation makes you feel super comfortable too. It's also a very nice place and it's really cozy as well. I will definitely be coming back to her. read more

After a much needed pedicure I found Annies at home nail salon ,she accomodated me to an appointment and glad to say i found my new nail place. The moment she finally walked in to take me, I entered the treatment room and politely asked for a small mirror from Lilly Since I had never been to her before, I simply wanted to see the process while she shaped my eyebrows. That is a completely reasonable request and i have been to many places and they never had any issue with that Just holding a mirror and checking the job while it done.. Instead of responding professionally, Lilly immediately became rude, cold, and hostile. She refused to treat me as a client and essentially threw me out because I asked Lilly for a mirror. I was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of everyone in the salon over something so simple. Lilly grabbed the mirror from my hand in a aggressive way next to a full salon. Apparently i found this was the Owner Named Lilly. This is not how you treat your customer and i will absolutely make everyone aware of that incident that i never expected from a business owner. If you treat your clients this way i am afraid to think how you treat your employees Lily made me leave in a really bad feeling and heavy thoughts feeling humiliated. If you're considering giving any business to Lily be aware of how she treat her clients .Lilly's attitude was incredibly unwelcoming, unprofessional, and disrespectful. No customer deserves to be treated that way. There are plenty of beauty salons that know how to treat clients with basic kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.
