From the outside it does not look the best, but I promise you to give it a chance. Laura is lovely and perfect amount of talking. Very sweet and makes you feel right at home. There's good music playing and my service (Brazilian wax) was done quickly and efficiently. I have been to several other waxing places all over the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area, European wax center had me having to pay for someone else to re-wax because they literally missed 40% of waxing. It was ridiculous. And natura spa but after trying several estheticians there each one either left my scarred from the wax being too hot and ignoring my requests to cool it down, or they left behind many patches. And that is just to name a couple. Laura did a perfect job. Quick job with waxing and very low pain. Which I've learned means you have a good esthetician that knows your growth pattern. But she did a flawless job. Definitely recommend. A lovely experience. Best job I have yet to have done! I definitely recommend her.

These people are not professional and they are racist against anyone who is not Asian. They can use a lesson in customer service. The owner Nancy is rude not very friendly and doesn't greet customers. The tech that did my mani-pedi jimmy was rude, abusive, and disrespectful. He was ruff made 3 of my toes bleed and cut the cuticle to low. He ask personal questions about me being married and thaught it was funny to say if I was your Husband I would beat your a** everyday. Not cool complete idiot. They also are to aggressive with up selling. I will never go here again. Those people who gave anything better than five stars must be use to getting crappy service in dumps likes this. Cause its obvious they don't know better. read more

Before the service began, the front desk staff clearly told me the price would be $85. However, once the manager started doing my nails, he began applying only pink acrylic. When I pointed out that I had requested white as well, he suddenly told me that adding white would cost an additional $25. He had not understood that I was requesting a pink-and-white set, and this extra charge was never explained upfront.The service I requested was not what I received. The manager's attitude made the experience even worse. In the middle of doing my nails, he abruptly left to start working on another client. When I asked if he was seriously beginning someone else's service before finishing mine, he responded that I had "messed things up." He was stoic, dismissive, and plainly rude instead of taking responsibility or explaining the situation professionally. This was not just a misunderstanding about pricing. It was poor communication, unclear and unexpected charges, an unfinished service, and disrespectful customer treatment. If you go here, confirm the full price and every detail of the service before they begin. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Lamia Nails to anyone.
