I went to the salon for a pedicure. The technician that preformed the service was nice but as I was checking in they asked me to pick out a polish and told me they only do gel color. I ordered the pedicure service which was $65 then when I check out it is $80 when I ask what the difference in price was they said they charge $15 extra for gel polish but they don't offer regular polish or even have in the salon. I am a professional who has been getting my nails done for years and know the difference in value for a good job and a bad job. I decided to try this new place because of location even though I love the current place I've been going to to. Let me tell you they nickel and dime you for everything. Even though I was getting dip they charged me 15.00 to take off previous dip ( I've never had to pay that when I'm getting them dipped again) then they only have gel polish but you have to pay additional $15.00 for the gel on top of any service. They did not explain this very well before service. On top of that I picked a color for my pedicure that I was told they had matching dip only to find out after pedicure they did not have matching for my manicure. It may look like a fancy high class place but the price for what you get is not worth the value, I get a better pedi/dip mani upgraded for 80.00 and it lasts 3-4 weeks versus the 1-2 weeks for $145.00 and not as good. Also if you try to ask questions you get attitude. Take my advice don't waste your money you won't be happy. read more

I'd give this place 5 stars if my pockets didn't bleed. The salon is GORGEOUS. That should have been my first clue. I got the organic tea pedicure, and my toenails hadn't been touched in an amount of time I shan't disclose. So yes, I needed my toenails cut down. But that took my gorgeous, amazing, LUXURIOUS pedicure to $90 (cut downs are $15). If it wasn't for the fact that my feet actually stopped a man in his tracks, I'd be salty about the cost. So go, ladies and gents. Spend the money. Be pampered. They are lovely people over there. And when someone stops you in the street to compliment your toes, you're welcome. It is so fancy inside! There were paintings by Sandro Botticelli, a grand piano, and black accents in their decorations. There are plenty of chairs for pedicures and manicures. They do only offer gel nail polish, which they told me before and also had written on a chalk board at the check-in counter. Tim was the one who did my nails. He was so attentive and polite, making sure I was alright; I definitely recommend having Tim do your nails! read more

The ambience, vibes, and aesthetics are amazing here. since it was my birthday, I wanted to venture off outside of a mom and Pop shop to get me a nice pedicure. I paid $50 for a basic pedicure. It's 35, but they only offer gel so I had to pay an extra 15 which was fine. Sure you get a free alcoholic beverage but it aint all that when you're not a big drinker. Anyway, My guy nicked me once when he was trimming my cuticles, but hey, it's all good I'm not a wussy. I give 3 stars because he did a great gel paint job, cleaned up, & shapes my toesies squared. However, me and my girl were hoping for more of a nice leg/foot massage. I think the rub down was probably like 15 seconds on each leg/foot. I can get at least 3 minutes on each leg at a mom and pop shop for cheaper. I also had to choose from the same DND colors that the mom and Pop shop has which was a bit disappointing. So i just decided to go with white like all the hot girlies. okay so i had to come back on here after my service today, I came in for a SOAK OFF and kids manicure. kids manicure was great she loves her nails but i did not get a soak off. My nail tech Rose started to pry my nails off with another nail and i said "ow" at least 3 times ! she ripped my nails after i specifically told her i wanted to keep the length of my nails. i did stop and ask if they even do soak offs and she said yes but it takes a while. don't understand why she didn't do it when i specifically asked for it. Then she just tries to file down the acrylic and didn't even get it all off now i gotta go home and try to get it off my self. read more

Had a great experience here. For the first time I enjoyed the massage chair in a salon. Normally you barely feel the massage but , the chairs here are top of the line! The salon is well designed beautiful & luxurious. There's beautiful pictures up and etc. This definitely gives you the feel of luxury when you step in. Everyone here is kind and have great attitudes. It's clean in here as well. They use very good products too. It's very relaxing and calming here. This will be my "go too place for manicures & pedicures. I got the herbal pedicure and a premium manicure. My nails only have clear gel polish on it for the manicure but, it looks so beautiful. I wanted to give my nails a break from hard polygels etc. They also give you a gift card if you spend 50$ or more. Yes you read it correctly, a gift card. They only do gel polish in this salon not regular polish and it definitely makes the whole process better! $95 for a mani pedi is too much!!! Beautiful nail salon, friendly staff, but it's too expensive in my opinion. I booked a classic mani and pedi, and the service was fine, BUT there is no option for regular polish. While I love gel polish for my fingernails, I do not need it on my toenails! So if you want to leave with color on your nails and toes be prepared to spend an extra $30 for the required gel polish! read more

Nails by Rose in Chesapeake is a gem! The establishment gives elegant vibes and is an experience. The salon is visually stunning and the customer service is very professional. I was introduced to the salon by my nail technician Tracy (Tracy.lk on Instagram) who is amazing. She keeps up with the latest trends and can recreate anything from a picture I want. Today was my first time getting a pedicure at this salon and Kimberly did a phenomenal job on my feet! Thank you, ladies, for making my time there today pleasant. One word RACIST!!!!!!!! I stopped in to get a pedicure not knowing they were already closed. I asked if I could use the restroom and the lady at the front booth pointed to the back where the bathroom was at. I went to use the restroom and not even 5 minutes later one of the workers kept banging on the door. I yelled out while I was washing my hands to let them know I was inside. I guess I wasn't moving fast enough because he kept banging . When I walked out one of the male workers gave me this evil look as if I did something wrong. I asked what the problem was and why was he banging on the door. He said I was taking too long . I told him I wasn't even in the bathroom for 5 min. And then the lady in the front starts yelling me at me telling me I was taking long and telling me to get out. I told her I will gladly leave and won't ever come back. How weird is it to hover around the bathroom after someone just walks in there in there. No one else was waiting to go in either so there was no need to rush me out . Not sure if it was the way I was dressed with sweat pants on and they instantly stereotyped me when I walked in or what . And this is why I will only stick to black owned nail salons from now on. The prices are double the price of the other nail salons. in the area and guess what I came in to pay those double prices for me and my daughter but after that encounter I won't ever return. read more
