Recently moved to Orlando and finally found an amazing nail tech which was Christina. In less than a week, my dip powder started chipping and breaking off. I called to see if I can just go back and get it fixed/removed, & the receptionist said I could just walk in. Following what she said, I walk in and then she tells me that there's no availability so they won't be able to see me. I then ask her to just schedule me and she says for that there is no need to make an appointment to just walk in. We then got into a discussion because she clearly did not understand that obviously I do need an appointment to ensure I'm not wasting my time walking in just to be told about the lack of availability. CLEARLY, she did not understand that client's time are valuable as well and that if no appointment is set, she can say there is no availability. I've been here twice now recently. It's been a pleasant experience both times. Did a mani-pedi, each time with a different tech. Both did a good job. I preferred the second person over the first but that's just me. Tip: ask for a glass of wine. Wink, wink. always makes for a more relaxing experience. Everything in the salon is clean. There are lots of CURRENT magazines to read. They have OPI nail polish, which is always my preference. Many colors to choose from and all are fresh. Walk-ins are welcome. When i got the the register i very kindly said something to her about it and she immediately said "last time you came in here you told me you were gonna zelle me for a tip and never did" i in fact did zelle her $5 but even then tip is not required ever and was extremely unprofessional for her to say that. I undertipped her that time bc i over tipped her for my first set by accident. We then started arguing and i informed her her business will continue to be dead if she continues to be rude to her clients and nickel and dime all her clients. Every time I've been in there it's DEAD. Mais attitude needs to change bc i promise in under a year a different nail salon is going to be there bc she has no clue how to run a business! First time visiting this place, Vivian was assigned to do my pedicure. She was very respectful, getting me comfortable in the chair and making sure I had everything prior to starting the service. They offer me wine or water while I relax, I only did regular polish. I don't gel my toes she was pretty quick, left with my feet, feeling like a brand new baby. For the price of a regular pedicure was $30 which nowadays is a pretty decent price and they include everything such as soaking massage, hot towels and cuticles and regular polish. Had my powder manicure and spa pedicure with Ken! He was great and friendly. Chose a great color that matched my skin tone. I've been trying to get this kind of pink for a long time but couldn't find it! He really did well in cleaning my nails. The whole place was pretty clean and well maintained too. They offered refreshments and was very helpful if needed. Ken made sure that I was happy with the service and not just like he wanted to get the job done. I was referred to vip nails by a friend. I walk in very pleasant and nice until the lady to the far end on the right side started buffing my nails. I asked her how much to remove the tip a s just put acrylic on my nail she said $50.00 without design. 1st red flag! She told me I couldn't do a certain design due to the color of my acrylic gel. 2nd red flag! Then I asked for a different design with marble and to my surprise she couldn't do marble. They kept telling me, not asking me why no gel. I just kept saying no. They separated me and my daughter and apparently they gave my daughter gel, without asking me. She's only 15 and doesn't know. She only got a basic manicure with a clear coat, no color or anything and they charged $95. I also felt very rushed and received no hand massage or anything after my manicure. Their price for gel acrylic is $40 and then you have to add for shape and design. I was prepared for this price. I got the same design I got months ago again by Ken and the price was now $75. I asked them why was is this much. I didn't even do powder. He didn't even look at me but said prices are different due to COVID; However when I first got this design it was this year during COVID. He said the nails are $50 and $25 for the design. I came here a month ago and design for all of my nails was $10. I feel like if I'm spending $75 on nails it has to be top of the line and this wasn't. This whole experience was ridiculous and it really shifted my view of them. I won't be coming back. read more

The staff was accommodating of my walk-in request and did a fantastic job with my spa pedicure and gel manicure! I've been on the hunt for our "go to" nail salon for over a year now. There's so many in the Waterford Lakes area and so I must try them all before finding the ONE. Items I look for when on the hunt for a new nail salon. - Cleanliness - Quality of Work Performed (scrub, painting, massages) - Pricing (4*) Cleanliness: I've seen lots of places use plastic liners which I like but then I don't see sanitizing of the tools which is gross. This place doesn't use the liner but I did see fresh new sanitized tools in plastic wrap for each person. Liners would be nice. (5*) Quality of Work: Jenny did great. I loved the massaging chair which also has seat cushions that work also to relieve your stress. She scrubbed my feet and I swear she left it baby smooth. Major plus! Painting was on point. I just got the regular pedicure. Her massaging was nice and I felt immediately relaxed. I'm not for conversation w my nail tech. She was all work and less chatting which I feel can distract techs at times. (4.5*) Pricing: For the work she did I was pleased with the $25. I usually get a deluxe but $50 is craziness. The pricing there increases dramatically. I'm sending my husband in tomorrow to see what he says but I was happy. Will see her again! Next time for a manicure. I tried to give them a chance twice, but alas, they failed me. First, let me start with nails. Upon arrival you will be met with the shrill bark of a shitzhu. It is startling to hear when arriving at a spa. However, the pooch is cute, so I let it go. Let's talk about the nails. Two words, cheap products. I have never had dip nails chip and immediately discolor. I went in and asked for my previous nails to be soaked off and she instantly grabbed a fake nail and begin to shove it under my nail and barbaricly rip it off! I told her no! I said soak it off. However the damage was done, and I was left with the remnants of a nail bed. I dealt with the nail application and was so disappointed with the result and subsequent peeling and discoloration. Next, against my better judgment, I decided to risk getting my lashes done. Fast forward to an hour later, and it felt like they were super glued on and she begin to rip my eyes apart so that I could see again. Instantly pain sunk into my ocular devices as I struggled to see and blinked furiously hoping my sight would return! I blinked for nearly five minutes as my tears were flowing down my face and burning continued. The so called lash tech begin to blow into my eyes to try to stop the burning and tear production. She then got a make shift fan and begin to begrudgingly fan it back and forth to create a small draft to which barely created relief. I have so much glue on my lashes that after washing each day, it appears snowfall has begun in the dead of the orlando summer! Long story short, don't come here. read more
