I alway would come to this nail salon as my first selection, however. It seems as if the day I came-two days before my first Mother's Day- it was not a good day. I booked an appointment for 5:30pm and I was told to come back. I came back around 6pm the same day. As I was getting my pedicure, I asked for French tip but I wanted a more triangular tip and not the original, during the entire process the pedicurist kept calling my design ugly and stating that it will not look right- mind you, I have gotten this same design before- she kept on insulting and saying it's ugly it's ugly ( which hurt my feelings) .. First of all, let me say that I actually really like this place. I have been in twice this year and they did an excellent job on my gel manicure and pedicure. The service is excellent, the staff friendly, and I absolutely love my nails. Now, unfortunately this last time I decided to get an eyebrow wax as well. I left with what I thought was the normal redness that I would expect after waxing. The pain continued to get worse though and I realize little parts/layers of my skin had actually been ripped off. The skin under my eyebrow is incredibly tender and swollen. I believe the woman doing the work wasn't pulling my skin tight. The photo included is next day after icing and applying ointment to assist with the healing. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed many times before and never had this happen. My daughter and I made an appointment several days ago. We came in on time, we're not seen on time and our appointments that should've taken two hours took 4 hours.!!! Literally EVERYONE in the place worked on us when we specifically said that we wanted Jenni to work on us. They had SEVERAL walk-ins that they took, saw and were in and we were STILL THERE.!!! We told them when we walked in that it was my daughters 22nd birthday and that my mom was in the hospital and that we needed to go see her (they also know her).!!! This is NOT acceptable.!!! I can't say "run, stay away!" because it wasn't that bad, but unless I was in a pinch and needed quick service I prob wouldn't return here. It's unfortunate because I live across the street. I actually purchased my home 3 years ago today :D and this is the first time I've been in here. Husband and I came in together on a Saturday afternoon and the two people working were the owners. They've had the place several years, which we only knew because I asked. Aside from my questions to them, we weren't once engaged in conversation. $30 each for a mani-pedi, and absolute silence. I had Mr. Owner working on me, and Casey had the wifey. My guy took his time with foot massage and I didn't feel rushed at all, and I quite enjoyed the little reflexology moments with his gentle snapping of my wrists and ankles. BUT he rounded my toenails before I could stop him, never asking if I wanted them squared. :( So instead of a French pedi like I'd planned I just went with solid pink. On my toes and thumb skin, tiny sprecks of polish remained after he was done. Not a lot, but I am pretty good with polish and prob could have done an equally imperfect job on my own at home. Mani was a little rushed in comparison to pedi. I think $30 is a good value for both services, but I've def had better service at other salons. read more

Quiet and a lovely break from the hustle and bustle outside. They play soft meditation music and missing is the unfortunate loud chatter of other salons that many find annoying in a place we come for pampering and relaxation. Tam, the Reception Manager and a service provider as well, is a sweetheart and he makes certain everything is just so for everyone who visits. I have been to this nail shop four or five times. I believe it is family owned with the husband and wife being technicians but please don't quote me on that. Every time I have been served cold water and grape juice, very nice touch. They are very polite and friendly and do a great job. On every occasion I have gotten a manicure and a pedicure. Their pedicure is lovely they use paraffin wax and give you a very long massage all included in the standard pedicure. They have a huge variety of colors polish and gel to choose from. I plan to continue visiting the shop whenever I need my manis and pedis. Prices are reasonable as well. I haven't observed anything that would warrant anything less then a five star review. Facilities are clean and there's plenty of parking. It's also awesome that they're right next-door to Starbucks! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I made an appointment for a dip manicure, and didn't get seated until well over 30 minutes after my appointment time. The owner double booked herself. After being seated, she raced through my nails - finished in under 30 minutes. She barely got the residue from my previous dip off before applying the new powder. She hardly buffed or shaped my nails. They are bumpy, jagged and no two nails have the same shape. When I pointed out how bad they looked, she told me they "look good" and "match perfectly". Upon telling her again they looked awful, she just kept filing them down - making them extremely short & not fixing the shape at all!! I finally pulled my hand away and gave up. I used to recommend this place to friends. Definitely will never be coming back - the WORST experience I've ever had. Clearly didn't care about doing a good job - don't waste your $ here. I would give zero stars if I could. This is probably the worst nail salon in the country. They use people who are not licensed and trained to cut your cuticles and buff your nails then you have to wait for the 1 licenses nail tech to come and shape your nails and paint them. I waited for 20 minutes to have my nails painted and when I explained I could not wait any longer and had to leave, they wanted me to pay for 65% of the manicure even though they failed to put any nail polish or file my nails. I had a nail repair for a cracked dip manicure from about two weeks back, went in on my break for emergency services because my go to spot was closed & having a band aid over my nail as a cashier wasn't cutting it. They were very nice, and again I appreciate the service, but I have to take a star off because the ambiance / environment was pretty ugly. Yeah, it's not the best place but it gets the job done. Mani & Pedi $25 what beats that price? They do take debit/credit now I believe... and the ladies are nice there. I currently used to go for both eyebrows and mani/pedis... but yeah, the eyebrow price vs the quality of eye brow job isn't worth it... I'd spend more money to get my brows styled the right way. Customer next to me left given she was there 30 minutes with appointment and not yet helped. Color they used was off from the book. Gel already chipping. I was cut by the foot scrub bar because they were exfoliating the side of my foot where the skin is thin rather than my heel. They just don't seem to care about customer service . This was my first time in this shop. It's decorated nicely, very clean, and soothing music greets you quickly. They actually have a reception desk where appointments are made and payment is rendered, something forgone in many nail shops these days. They used sanitized tools and a sanitized pumice stone (love!). Tam did my gel pedicure and did a full acrylic nail set, complete with gel polish and bling! Review is way overdue for a great service at a great price. The day I called I got lucky and was squeezed in that day. The person who did my nails was polite and friendly to converse with. I exclusively get short stilettos, which I know is a finicky order, so the tech was honest with me about the length they could achieve while accommodating my incongruous request. I've paid around $80 for a very customized set of these (which is fair but not an average expense for me), so my nails here by comparison were more achievable in my everyday budget. I would recommend this place for a solid simple set of acrylics for a damn good price. I had no issues with the nails while I kept them. The only reason I haven't gone back is I normally only do nails for a single occasion and don't keep them long after.
