As most reviews here say, Ruby has a solid work ethic. I've had excellent massages here during my pedicure and manicure. For the time and effort she puts into working on the manicure and pedicure, I think she is worth more than what she charges ($60 + tip). The salon is very cute, and tidy. Kudos to these independent business owners (and Ruby) who are doing their own thing - it is not easy. Bring your business to Ruby, and do ask for sterilized/sanitized nail equipment. I was coming to Ruby for a few months now, but out of nowhere she said that she doesn't want to see me anymore and that I should try another place because "the dip powder doesn't last on my nails and she doesn't want me to keep wasting money if it's not lasting". I explained to her that I don't have a problem with her work and the reason I keep coming to her is because I like her work. (I wasnt complaining that the "dip wasn't lasting a long time") This only happened once and she corrected my nails. I was a loyal friendly customer and I'm shocked that she told me to find someone else. I find it extremely rude and disrespectful. Had to edit my review TWICE, due to owner's aggression. Her work is fine, however, I listened as she berated a customer on the phone, then laughed afterwards. She is disorganized with appointments, and was telling confidential stories about others. She also will DROP customers on a whim. BIGGEST CONCERN: she used the SAME Dip Powder container for ALL customers. According to Dermatologists, you can get Warts and Bacterial infection from dipping into the same powder as others. She is SUPPOSED TO use SEPARATE containers for each customer and THROW AWAY unused powder. Look it up yourself. My new salon was shocked to hear she reused powder. read more

I got my nails done with Ruby for the first time on Thursday. I was recommended by my sister-in-law. Ruby is a one woman show and is in the Country Wood shopping center which is a great location and plenty of parking. She started with my pedicure and did a great job and gave a nice massage. Then she did my nails. I had shown her a picture of what I wanted from a picture I got off of here, Yelp. I hadn't gotten my nails done since April so they were super outgrown and not in the best shape. So she decided that I needed a new set and took them off and gave me a fresh set. She did the design just like I wanted and they turned out BEAUTIFUL! One of the best sets I've ever had! She is SUPER attentive to detail and did an AMAZING job!
