The vibes were off and they were extremely rude and kept rushing me. They burned my nails and then put acetone on right after, blobbed on nail polish and the they messed them up, and has the audacity to tell me that they weren't going to do my nails to my desired length due to them not liking it. I think I could have done a better job if I did them myself.. They're so insanely bad. I don't even know what to do, I can't walk around like this. These were supposed to be my Halloween nails and I just absolutely hate them. The entire gel mani/reg pedi was done in 30 mins and the quality clearly shows the lack of time and attention given to them. He had an appt or request come in and I could feel I was getting rushed out. I'm not a confrontational person and felt awkward asking for them to be fixed so I just left but had to warn others about this place / the tech named Steven. The nails they do are beautiful and the staff is kind. However, I got my eyebrows done and it ripped my skin, the side was not pulled taught:(. It hurt bad and still stings, hoping it doesn't bruise for the wedding I have this weekend. The photo is from a few hours after my appointment. Atmosphere was not inviting, in fact it felt like the first lady we spoke with was bothered by us. However we were here to celebrate my moms 60th birthday and we still wanted to treat her to a mani pedi. Lani was her technician and thank God for that, she was wonderful. Lani was very kind and did a wonderful job. Thank you Lani for making my mom feel special. Location is small with limited seating. It was clean and decently priced. They were able to see me and my 2 girls for manis without a reservation which was great since we were just in town for a short stent and on our way back out. Staff wasn't overly polite, very down to business which intimidated my little ones. Overall, I felt the quality of the mani was worth the price ($20) but I guess we'll have to see how well the polish holds up after 3 days in Disneyland. I wouldn't go back here or recommend anyone else to go. Service was very rushed the lady doing my daughters nails cut her up really bad and did a very messy job! Unfortunately because my daughter was very upset the lady wasn't listening to her when she kept trying to tell her about cutting her skin she didn't explain to me what happened until we left. When I called the front desk lady wanted us to come back so she could fix my daughters nails but unfortunately because the pain my daughter was in she didn't want anyone else touching her fingers. I got a plain gel manicure, it was just a white color on my natural nails. It was absolutely awful. I had to go home and file my nails myself because the way they were filed was so pointy despite me telling them multiple times I would like them more rounded. It is extremely dirty in there and looks like it has not been cleaned for a very long time and they got polish all around my nails would never in 1 million years go back. Do not go here. read more

so when I gone there, the price will range from 42 to 47 for the same service. I get a fill for acrylic nails and sometimes the nails are thick so the regrowth looks bad. Today I called and asked if my daughter could get a polish change and just stick her feet in the water. The owner who answered the phone, said my daughter could stick her feet in the water just for fun. then they started to give my daughter who is five a pedicure and I asked if she could get a polish change and they told me that because her feet were in the water they needed to charge me for a pedicure. I asked her why she said my daughter could stick her feet in the water for fun. She did not answer and told me that the water has a cost . After they started rubbing the lotion on her, I told them that she's allergic to lotion they ended the pedicure never gave her a massage and charged me for a full price pedicure. read more

I've been coming here for about 6 months now bc it's close to my home. The work is decent but, oh my gosh do I have to fight for what I want most of the time. I have short nails and I like them filed square to which I get so much hesitance from certain nail techs here. Today, the nail tech said "these are too short" for the acrylic overlay I requested. She gave me such a hard time about it that I just settled for a gel set, I figured if she did the acrylic overlay, her unwillingness to do them would reflect in her work. This kind of attitude is ironic because when I came in 3 weeks ago, a different nail tech was able to work with my just as short nails and didn't give me an issue, unfortunately that nail wasn't available today. When I get my nails done with my nail tech in Tijuana, she never shows me any hesitancy for my requests and always does an amazing job, I just don't go as often as I'd like bc of how far it is. I don't know why I get so much push back from these ladies at Nails Now? If it's not the length, it's the color, if it's not the color it's because I should do dip instead of gel. I will rank the dip powder quality 5/5, but have to settle with 4/5 because of the wait I had to endure after getting my pedicure done. I scheduled a week in advance for Natalie, she's the queen of nail designs! I walked in right at 10am and it took a few minutes to get me seated. Once I was seated the lady did take her time on me with my pedicure! I then waited 30-40 min in the chair once my pedi was done to wait for my manicure with Natalie.
