Here's a polished, genuine 5-star review you could post: After having a terrible experience at another nail salon, I came to Nailspa Excel hoping someone could fix the mess--and they absolutely delivered. They took the time to carefully correct my previous Gel-X set instead of rushing through the appointment, and the final result looks beautiful. The staff was professional, patient, and paid attention to detail. I really appreciated that they listened to what I wanted and made sure I left happy. It's clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers. If you're looking for a salon that can not only create great nails but also rescue a bad set from somewhere else, I highly recommend Nailspa Excel. Great first time experience. I wanted to try a place closer to my home. Found Nailspa excel and appreciated the good reviews. I arrived a few min before opening and they were already taking customers. That was perfect for me because I was on a time crunch. I got seated right away and Scarlett helped me. She was so sweet and communicative. I really appreciated that she wanted my toes and feet to look great. She did a great job and I will be back to see her. Salon is spacious and plenty of stations. My go to salon. The atmosphere is nice and they keep everything clean. All the technicians are pretty consistent and do a great job no matter who you get. Today I had Scarlett & Anna and both did an excellent job, were friendly even helped with my photo. I always get a gel manicure and regular pedicure, my color lasts the three weeks I come. I often bring my daughter to get her nails done when she is in the mood. She loves getting regular nail polish and designs she usually chooses and they always come out super cute!

This was my first time here, I came here to have a mini spa day with my daughter and I gotta say I am truly impressed and so happy with the service. The nail techs are so nice and understanding with me since it's been awhile since I've gotta my nails and toes done. I didn't know what I wanted really and Scarlett (my nail techs) helped me to finally decide. I'm definitely gonna make this my spot. I would do more stars but Yelp won't let me do more than 5.

If you want to have a good pedicure spa service, this is a good place to go. Reasonable price with good experience, I love they use some fruit to massage my feet and remove dead skin. The chair is massage chair, which was also enjoyable.

This was my first time going to this particular nail spa and it did not disappoint! The salon is quiet and very clean. I got a lemon manicure and a callus removal pedicure. Chris did my pedicure and Scarlett did my manicure (highly recommend them both!) My manicure came with a 5 minute massage and Scarlett not only massaged my hand and half arm, like most nails salons do, she massaged my entire arm, hand, fingers and shoulders! I got my nails polished with regular polish because I am allergic to gel. They did ask if i wanted gel but after I said no they respected that and weren't pushy about it. I highly recommend this salon if you're in the area. read more

First time going to this nail salon because of the reviews I read here on yelp, and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! I called literally 10min before going and I was able to get in as a walk in. Went in for a hard gel fill and got the service done by Tan! His attention to detail went above and beyond, the service did not feel rushed at all! My prior set was not applied properly at another nail salon and he was able to fix it and deliver what I wanted! This review is directed specifically at Tan, the business owner, who intentionally overcharged me, displaying a complete disregard for communication, professionalism, and honesty. If I could give this salon -10 stars, I would do so gleefully. Tan, your behavior as a business owner is nothing short of appalling and it's time that you enroll in some basic classes on business ethics, customer service, and professionalism. This was my second visit to the salon, and it will certainly be my last. Furthermore, I will actively discourage all my friends from setting foot in your establishment and instead urge them to seek out businesses where their patronage is valued and respected. Earlier in the day, I called to book appointments for myself, my sister, and my mother. During the booking process, I specifically inquired about the prices for each service. I was quoted $27 for basic pedicures (for myself and my sister) and a total of $62 for my mother's services ($35 for a gel manicure and $27 for a pedicure). Imagine my utter shock when I was presented with a bill totaling $119 for my mother's services alone. Not a single person in the salon mentioned any additional charges beforehand. I was overcharged for every aspect of the service, including shape, length, and a $30 fee for the removal of a prior gel mani pedi, without any prior notice. Furthermore, Tan neglected to inform us that the gel color we chose only came in powder form, resulting in an additional charge. When I confronted Tan and requested a breakdown of the pricing, he became defensive and emotional, claiming this is his standard practice. However, I have never encountered a nail salon that charged such exorbitant fees without prior notification. In other service industries, such as fast food establishments, customers are informed of additional charges before they are incurred. Had I been given the opportunity to accept or reject these charges beforehand, I would have made a different decision. In conclusion, my experience at your salon was nothing short of a nightmare. Your deceitful tactics, lack of professionalism and communication, and complete disregard for integrity have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I implore anyone reading this review to steer clear of this salon, unless, of course, you enjoy being subjected to unethical business practices and unreasonable charges. **UPDATE AS OF BUSINESS OWNER'S RESPONSE: the business owner alleges that he reported us to the police dept. LOL reported me for what--asking questions, writing a negative review, warning other patrons? I paid for me and my mom's services ($147 receipt attached) and my sister, who paid separately, tipped your employee generously. Tam, it's pathetically ironic and hypocritical of you to assume we come from another country when you yourself are an Asian immigrant business owner who cannot speak fluent English. This is why we had miscommunication in the first place. I was never rude to you nor did I raise my voice. As a paying customer, I have every right to ask questions about my bill when being overcharged in the end without prior notice or communication. But anyways, GO ahead and "report" me lol. I hope that helps you sleep better at night. As previously mentioned, I will never attend your banal business establishment again. For a pedicure my husband and I see Holly and she is the best!!!! Today, I saw Anna and she did such a great job. I had seen here around the shop and today I gave her a shop and she was so great. It is clear that owner Tan and all the staff prioritized cleanliness, comfort, and good work.
