If you are a true tiki lover, you will be disappointed. Drinks were very sweet and really no taste of alcohol. They were using cheap syrups for tiki cocktails. The Mai Thai was nothing like a traditional Mai Thai. Limited decor. They do have pebble ice and the music was on point.

Had a great time at their opening day yesterday! Drinks are so great and the staff very engaging and fun. We will be back for sure!

Hidden Gem Detector! Naked Spirits Distillery is tucked wayyy back in a Brentwood industrial court, and inside you'll find one of the best date deals around: $15 Rum Tasting Flight for Two + 2 Cocktails (Per Person) That price also includes a distillery tour! We enjoyed generous pours of several fun flavors, including Gooey as F**K, inspired by STL's favorite dessert, and it was neat to hear Naked's hobby-turned-distillery origin story. Tastings and tours are by appointment only, so be sure to visit nakedspirits.com to plan your visit! From the beginning when you enter the building you feel the good vibes. The tour is great full of valuable information and explaining with all the details about the product. The tasting is awesome and you can choose drinks from a variety of the menu available. Service is like you was a family member of the owner. I recommend this tour 10/10 to all the locals and the tourist. Good parking spots.

This was a ton of fun. It's by appointment only, and Naked Spirits is only open on the weekends. We learned about it by purchasing a Groupon while in STL. You would never be able to find this if the owner didn't give very specific directions to get to the establishment. It's not like a regular tasting room where you can come in and have a drink. It does require a reservation for come in. Once you're in, you're in for a treat. The various spirits they have were delicious. We had the chance to learn how they came to be, the passion behind their business, and tasted a variety of their products. We ended up taking home two bottles of their gooey buttercake rum. I'm glad I got to experience it, and look forward to them shipping.

So we bought a Groupon before Covid hit and we were finally able to redeem it!!! This Hidden Gem Rum Distillery is awesome. They make their own Rum from Start to Finish.. which is hard to find. The history and tour were great. Owner Brandon is so knowledgeable in the Rum making Biz. He has turned his passion into his Business.. way to go. We were given alot of samples as well as 2 mixed drinks to enjoy!! If you are looking for a fun/different night out.. schedule a tour and support this place... I grabbed a Gooey Butter Cake Rum, Mocha Royal Rum, Rum Maple Syrup and Jam!!

Even though this was my first rum tour and tasting, I will say that this was fun, amazing, informative and tasty! This local rum is smooth, full of flavor and can be paired as a mixer and a stand alone shot. Ally was this team member who did our tour. Although it was only her second day, she was fabulous! She was energetic, informative and a great bartender. The distillery had a warm and cozy atmosphere. This is an adventure date must!!

10/10 check this place out!! We had the pleasure of Brandon the owner of Naked Spirits to be our host for the tour and tasting and it was such a great experience! You can tell how passionate he is about distilling rum and the fun him and his partners have creating and experimenting with it and how much they want to just share it with the people of St. Louis. Learning about the process was new to me and interesting to heart about. We tasted 7 different rums (pictured), went to the back room to see the process of distilling and where they make it all happen (its a small operation so literally the front room for the tasting, and the back room for the distilling and bottling), and got to pick 2 cocktails to have as part of the tour experience. The gooey mudslide drink? Dangerously good. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

What a hidden gem! It's a bit hard to find but if you can't find it then keep looking or give them a call (turn into the parking lot between Renew Transfer & Taylor Scientific - the entrance is on the side of the bulding and shares a door with Classic Car Studio). We showed up tonight expecting a tour/taste event purchased through Groupon. There was a bit of a hiccup with their new ticketing system and they weren't doing a tour that evening because they were hosting a cocktail event that night. Even though we weren't officially booked, one of the owners, Brandon, offered to give us a tour anyway or invited us to come back in a couple of hours to do the cocktail event instead. We chose to come back for their cocktail event and had such a great experience! The bartender, Olivia, was super nice and all of the cocktails she crafted were very good. Brandon ended up giving us a little behind the scenes tour where we got to ask some questions about their rums and the distilling process. The space/tasting room itself was clean, inviting, and had a lovely mom & pop family feeling to it. Will definitely be back sometime for another cocktail night or to do the official tour and taste the rums on their own.

The outside bar is a vibe with beautiful views of the sunset on the river. My only complaint is the birds that are up in the rafters of the outdoor bar. The parking situation adjacent to the building is cramped with no exit so i recommended parking across the street.

A good percentage is under a tiki type roof, but if you want sun, there are plenty of tables offering that, too. The menu has a good variety, so it was hard to decide what I wanted for lunch. After some serious consideration and asking my bartender what were her favorite items on the menu, I finally made up my mind. Since my I am a fan of Shrimp Tacos, I choose their Blackened Shrimp Tacos with a Side of Mexican Corn. The two tacos were stuffed with lots of Blackened Shrimp, purple cabbage, topped with mango and pineapple salsa and a slice of avocado. As a side, I stayed with the Mexican theme. Their Street Corn was served on the cob, which I am not use to, but the flavor was solid and flavorful. I enjoyed sitting at the bar on the patio and the bartender provided attentive service. Other servers even stopped by and asked how I was enjoying my meal. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the fresh Grouper. For those of you who may not know, Southern Coastal Cusine is owned by the same folks you bring you, Grafton Oyster Bar. So you know it is quality.

The staff... wow.. another story.. Outside bar had an AMAZING waitress, Jess, that truely made our nights and was so awesome and fun. Jess deserves a raise and if you go to Venice cafe avoid literally any bar tender except for Jess. The old lady bar tender on inside bar took two extra dollars from me (I guess thinking I wasn't gonna tip? ) despite me leaving three on the bar and me pointing it out to her. Then a very very large brown haired curly bearded man completely ignored me at the bar, at like 4pm it was me standing directly in front of the bar by myself while he had co convos and gave bar backs shots. I couldn't have made this up.. I couldn't think of anything to even say to address that wasnt not kind or out of pocket so I left. It was an unreal experience and from what I've heard about management just from patrons there they wouldn't care anyway, it was alienating and gross behavior. Venice cafe had a good reputation and it was on my list forever, but I've already shared with more of my groups that we can go somewhere else and be treated much better. I'd second guess this option unless Jess is working outside in the bar.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and 3rd Chute was packed. They do have multiple bars and places to sit on the 3 levels and was able to find some seating. We started with some mini corn dog appetizers and some Mac and cheese poppers, a fried blend of macaroni and pepper jack cheese fried to perfection. We also ordered a classic cheeseburger with fries, pork tenderloin sandwich, pulled pork sandwich with fries and a grilled hot dog with fries. It took a few minutes to get our food with how busy the place was. Our server did check up on us to make sure our drinks were topped off. Food was cooked to order and was a good portion for those with a hearty appetite. There are several other bar and grills in close proximity to 3rd Chute. Most other places had more seafood options, which unfortunately we had allergies to. 3rd Chute's menu had all the classic food options a great bar and grill usually has available. 3Rd Chute Bar and Grill was a cool experience and highly recommend if you're visiting Grafton and looking for some good food with reasonable prices.
