We had a large family gathering on a beautiful Saturday early afternoon at this restaurant. We had many people in our party, and we were outside on the patio. Everyone was constantly moving around talking to others in the party. Our server, Sammi, was OUTSTANDING. She managed to keep up with AND keep track of everyone's drinks and food orders. I tried the mahi tacos and they were actually really good! They were out of grouper which we were looking forward to trying. The outside bar is a vibe with beautiful views of the sunset on the river. My only complaint is the birds that are up in the rafters of the outdoor bar. Nothing like eating & having bird droppings splatter on the bar next to your food. Several people were moving seats to get out from under them. The parking situation adjacent to the building is cramped with no exit so i recommended parking across the street. read more

Went here for our 19 year wedding anniversary. They did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the portions perfect! Thank you for a wonderful time! We will definitely be back. The only problem I encountered is that they do not accept debit cards due to a quirk in Illinois processing laws. They now only accept cash and Credit card. Woot Woot! Grafton has a new restaurant and it is the bomb. The patio is comfortable and has a picturesque view of the river. A good percentage is under a tiki type roof, but if you want sun, there are plenty of tables offering that, too. The menu has a good variety, so it was hard to decide what I wanted for lunch. After some serious consideration and asking my bartender what were her favorite items on the menu, I finally made up my mind. Since my I am a fan of Shrimp Tacos, I choose their Blackened Shrimp Tacos with a Side of Mexican Corn. The two tacos were stuffed with lots of Blackened Shrimp, purple cabbage, topped with mango and pineapple salsa and a slice of avocado. As a side, I stayed with the Mexican theme. Their Street Corn was served on the cob, which I am not use to, but the flavor was solid and flavorful. I enjoyed sitting at the bar on the patio and the bartender provided attentive service. Other servers even stopped by and asked how I was enjoying my meal. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the fresh Grouper. The weather this weekend was perfect so took a ride up the river road to Grafton and tried out this new restaurant. The tiki hut overlooking the river was beautiful with plenty of seating and umbrellas for shade. They had live music with a one man band, who was very talented and volume level tolerable so you could listen to the music and enjoy a conversation. They were somewhat busy and I think short-handed as it took 20 minutes to get our water and 50 minutes for food and cocktail. I understand with it being new and busy but the server should have acknowledged the wait. We shared the Chicken Nachos which was delicious, great seasoning on the chicken and piled high with all the fixings. Plenty for 2 as a meal. The Banana Hammock drink was refreshing. Despite the wait in service, we'll be back to give them a second chance. read more

Food was great...ordered birria flautas, pork nachos, shrimp quesadilla...guac and queso...all of it was delicious! The bar out back is fabulous and the view of river is amazing...not too hot either...plenty of fans and great air circulation. We enjoyed few of the specialty drinks, nice job!! read more

We stopped in for the first time for day drinks and dinner. We had the grilled chicken sandwich w/fries & hush puppies and the jerk chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were excellent and I would definitely order again. There was a lot of seafood on the menu, but we didn't have any. The bar was comfortable and the scenery is nice. I would give this place 5 stars, but the mixed cocktails were very weak. They had several beers on tap so I was happy to have a local craft beer. read more

Service very slow. There were open tables inside and outside. Immediately sat for service. Cocktail menu is lacking. Drinks tasted like juice. It took almost TWO hours to receive our food. Seafood boils looked and tasted like they had set out for thirty minutes. Rice bowl looked equivalent to Taco Bell. My son's fish and chips were terrible. Fish was mushy and undercooked. Also arrived late as it was cut off of our order. The waitress was not apologetic. She told us the best she could do was 50% off of the fish meal. My son did not eat any of the fish. It was completely undercooked and mushy under the batter. I did not finish my crab and shrimp boil. It tasted old. My husband had the lobster and shrimp boil. Two lobster tails that looked like just one, sliced into two. Price does not reflect this. Grafton is known for wonderful fish and summer cocktails. This place served neither. Truly the worst meal I have ever eaten in Grafton. Skip it. Too many good fish places to waste your time here. read more

Located on the Illinois river, this newly built restaurant has great views and offers both inside and outside seating. We sat outside in a gazebo area which was extremely clean and ample space. Upon seating we were quickly seated and our waitress quickly followed. My wife ordered a $10 glass of wine which was extremely short on volume. We took the plastic cup home it was served in and it measured at 3 ounces. Our order was Mahi mahi tacos which were excellent as well as Jerk chicken plate which though well cooked was bland. We went for Taco Tuesday today and were very disappointed. First, there is no information regarding Taco Tuesday on the menus we were given so I pulled it up on my phone. The steak tacos arrived lukewarm and the shells were soft and mushy. The steak was very chewy and tasted like round steak. The "loaded nachos" were a joke! No meat, no beans, no sour cream, just chips, cheese, jalapenos, and guacamole. About the most naked nachos I've ever received and looked nothing at all like the picture in their advertisement. The margaritas were very good though and the service was excellent. But I would not recommend this place. read more

Food was good, but the service was poor. I don't know how many times service walked past our table before we were even able to get someone to bring us water. Then another long wait before our order was taken, and finally a long wait for the food, which was pretty good by the way. I shouldn't know that they weren't overly busy either, so there was no legitimate reason for the poor service. read more

Finally, got a chance to try out the new Tiki place everyone is raving about lately. My wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary in Grafton, IL and couldn't have asked for a better night. Right away we got to meet the owner who was super cool & took the time to chat about the menu with us, all while lending a hand to his staff, which we really appreciated. The weather was awesome & the sunset views on the river at this place are amazing. We both loved the tiki bar theme. Even though it was packed the service was great. Our food took a little bit to arrive but that just gave us the perfect time to enjoy some drinks and the beautiful river views so we didn't mind at all lol! Tabatha our server was a sweetheart, who gave us exceptional service & happy anniversary wishes. It was Thursday so I had to get their all you can eat shrimp plate. I definitely recommend the garlic butter shrimp and street corn. I couldn't get enough of both lol! We left with some churros for dessert to eat later and they were well worth it too, so-glad we got them at the last minute. Upon arriving and going in it was unfriendly and attentive the staff is very unfriendly and young and careless, the manager was also careless after being served the wrong food for my grandson and then bringing me some jerk chicken that was like a Super ball, I asked for something else,I told them I cannot eat this may I have something else and I asked for the chicken tenders which my granddaughter had and tasted pretty good,but the all-around service is pretty bad and the food is average, and not to mention that I was told that if I needed a side of barbecue that would be 75 cents that was clear just like that,their prices are way too high and their staff is way too rude. Ambience is very modern ,it has a southern Coastal look but if you work hard for your money and you want it to go a long way I suggest looking for another restaurant in Grafton. read more
