Okay so I've been injected in the lips before twice and I've never experienced this much pain with lip filler usually swelling for me goes down within 2-3 days and there's was never pain just the stiff feeling. And my injector was crystal and she seemed nice enough but her technique HURT SO BAD. They definitely didn't leave the numbing on long enough. She poked me like 20 times. I experienced so much nerve pain , sharp pains in my lips and after a week they started to go down. When I mentioned this to the office they said crystal wasn't in office and they would get someone to contact me. NO ONE DID. I went back for my complimentary lip massage and expressed that I didn't want the pain to come back since I finally recovered. They said they have to do the massage firmly and that I will be swollen again. THERES NO WAY that they will make me go through all that pain again. When I mentioned the pain and my fear of that coming back. She dismissed what I said and completely ignored it, then proceeded to say well you don't have to get the massage but you'll have lumps and migration of your filler. I've never felt a weirder vibe from a medical office. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.I hope the nerves in my lips recover from this. read more

Wanted to give a shout out to Emma Bolduc! I got botox and fillers from her about a month ago in the Glendale office. My experience with HER was 10 out of 10! She was super sweet, and was able to suggest treatment for areas that I was never happy with from my previous "injectors"! It's been a month now and the FULL results are showing. I could not be more pleased! I will be a regular client of Emma's and will follow her wherever she goes! Some insight about me: I am 60 and she was able to address all my concerns! For the first time ever, I didn't HATE getting lip fillers! She applied the numbing cream and it actually numbed my lips! Hallelujah! She also treated my 25 year old daughter and she is totally happy too, even though she hates needles! If you are looking for THE BEST "injector" book an appt with Emma Bolduc! I believe she travels between the offices so you should be able to get her in your vicinity at some point...just plan ahead. If not, she's worth the drive! I recently got lip fillers at this NakedMD location. We were off to a great start when I first arrived. The girl that welcomed me and took me into the room was great. She had a fun and positive attitude. The injection artist is where my issues lie. I've gotten lip fillers once before so I knew more or less what to expect. However, the numbing cream that was used on me didn't quite numb my bottom lip. She started with the top lip, the pokes were fine but then she pinched my lip - even though she said I'm going to touch your lip. She literally pinched the lip and that hurt so much more than any poke. She did say that the left side of the lips would hurt more and it indeed did hurt more. I'm not sure why. This is my perception but to me it didn't seem like the injection artist really wanted to deal with my concerns/issues. The bottom lip didn't feel numb at all so she seemed irritated when I said yes to adding more numbing cream to that area. She was just very heavy handed. The first time I got lip fillers I did not bruise at all and with this second time my lips are so bruised. This experience has really put me off from getting lip fillers again. I'm sure the lips will look fine once healed, but going through this experience has put me off fillers for a while. read more

I came to naked for microneedling with PRP that I won from an influencers giveaway. I'd like the start off by saying the staff were all kind and friendly which earns the 2 stars. I get microneedling done about 3-5 times a year for the last 4 years and this was different than the 2 med spas I've gone to throughout the years. For one, the nurse was stamping a lot of areas and I've always had it done in a consistent circular motion. I don't know if the microneedling pen itself was cheap but it was creaking and I barely felt it and it kept needing to be adjusted throughout the session. I did request some sensitive spots to not be as deep, but she stayed on that depth for the rest of my face and I couldn't feel a thing. I've never had to instruct the nurse on where to apply depth. It's never been painful when I get it done but I can at least FEEL it. And between the stamping and adjusting the depth a few times I think it just took a lot longer than it should have. I was shocked how cheap the treatments were, but I wouldn't go back even if it were free again. I believe NakedMD should invest in more training before they open more locations. read more
