One of my biggest concerns was a medical assistant (MA) mixes the Botox which is prohibited by California Medical Board. I question whether the Botox may have been overly diluted. And while I cannot say with certainty that over dilution caused my outcome, the poor results have left me wondering if the Botox was prepared appropriately. Places like these are popping up all over with poorly trained staff and lack of medical standards. I was hooked by a promo and pushy sales associates. I happened to be home for the holidays and took advantage of the Black Friday deal and pre-purchased some units of botox (which is actually dysport) for my masseters. I wanted to have some repair work done on my lips from a bad lip injector. The aesthetician at naked Md recommended dissolver, over $600!! I agreed she dissolved everything EXEPT the problem areas. I HAD ASKED THAT SHE FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM ONLY . I also asked her to do a mid face lift ( fillers) It was noticeably uneven and poorly done. I found her to be Passive aggressive And poorly trained. When I spoke of my disapproval of the result she was very unhelpful and told me to come back I. 2 days, to get more dissolver...why? No idea. I ended up going to California Cosmetics who were AMAZING , they corrected the issue beautifully with the respect and kindness. I came back to Naked MD because I had such a good experience the first time, and now after a few visits, I can say I really trust this team. I've seen a couple different nurses, and this time I saw Shenelle, a nurse practitioner, who was absolutely amazing. She was thorough, listened to what I wanted, and made me feel safe and cared for throughout the entire process. I have been in search of more advanced options than Botox, but did not want to get filler or anything too permanent that would potentially need to be dissolved one day. This sounds funny, but I went on TikTok to learn about the different options and I discovered a few patients that documented their journey, one being from Naked MD. I was very impressed with the PRF results, the comments of others etc. with Naked MD; in addition, the prices are great. I bought a package of 3 PRF under eye, forehead Tox, some face Tox, and 1 session Sculptra and booked with Shenelle. I cannot shout from the highest rooftop any louder how incredible of a prep master, injector, and gentle bedside manner Shanelle has. I won't go to anyone else for this procedure. She is EVERYTHING. I loved my results after the first PRF under eye so much that I went and got a lip flip with Shenelle - which I have never done before. She is a master so much so that I pre-booked the rest of my sessions and even bought my husband a PRF eye package against his will but he is going. I am so grateful for Naked MD. Every single lady working the front desk, facials etc is so incredibly nice and well trained. Kindness pours out of this office. My Tips: 1) take a homeopathic Arnica under tongue pill from Amazon the morning of (no caffeine) and throughout after. 2) buy homeopathic Arnica topical gel from Amazon to have at home to put on multiple times a day to prevent swelling 3) I bought their post procedure cream not sure if it does anything but I bought it anyway as I want to be able to go out right away with little swelling. 4) use the little ice pack GENTLY under eyes on whole drive home. They give you on the way out. 5) pre-buy the wedge pillow from Amazon, so you can sleep lying up the first two nights to prevent swelling if you get Sculptra also. I did not bruise but very swollen. 6) call Naked MD phone line for specials only by phone and buy packages which are less 7) I bought one Sculptra which I liked, but decided to stick with PRF under eye and wait for them to offer it on face soon. Tox for now. 8) make sure you get the numbing cream while they are out spinning your blood. Don't rub eyes after treatment. Need to not disperse blood. 9) all this is worth it. After your three sessions, you will only need it once a year. I found this place by Instagram Ad. They had (I still think they do) have these amazing specials for beauty treatments. I went ahead and booked my appointment with Nurse Shanelle (Chanel) she was amazing. The only thing is I had to wait nearly an hr after my scheduled appointment to be seen but that's ok. It was worth it. She did an amazing job. I had quite the lip filler journey, went to some of the best places in the past where each syringe of Lip Filler was $750, and my lips always ended up with lumps and lip migration. Having had to go back and forth to dissolve and fill again. This is the first time that I LOVE my lips, and I didn't pay an arm and a leg for the procedure. Shanelle injected me with 1ml of Versa and I paid only $299 for it. I informed her prior to injecting me of my former lip journey and addressing my concerns. She was very experienced and gave me good feedback and honest advice saying that she can't absolutely guarantee that I wouldn't have a little bit of filler migration since I still had some filler left from prior procedures even though I gave it a good 1.5 years since having had my last lip filler (but yes ladies... lip filler stays much longer than what is said online). Nonetheless I let her go ahead and inject me. I appreciated her honesty. Therefore, now it was up to me to take the chance and go for it or first dissolve and come back in a few weeks with a "fresh canvas" for her to work on. I didnt want to do that again and I just took the chance, at my own discretion so to say. And wow!!! I'm actually glad I just went for it. I LOVE MY LIPS! UPDATE: So I scheduled a follow up for my no surgical nose job because I noticed after swelling went down you could see my nose bump a little bit from one side. I just needed the tiniest adjustment after the swelling was down. So I go for a follow up and we discuss what I needed adjusted. One of the girls then told me I need to book another appointment to actually get in with the injector. Which was fine because I understood my injector wasn't in that day. So, I then go to my 2nd scheduled follow up appointment hoping to get the slight issue adjusted and then they say they can't comp the adjustment that I would need to pay an extra $300 on top of the $600 I've already payed for PLUS driving 30-40min 2x down for the follow up appointments. I'm not dissatisfied with the service I just wish they would've told me in the beginning that follow up touch ups are extra $. Still appreciate my injector for being sweet.
