Might become one of my favorite spots! It's so hard because it feels like you can't go wrong with Thai food in Boston but this one is creeping up my list. First off, it's halal! I don't know if there's a lot of halal Southern Thai restaurants in Boston, but I thought it was really amazing that they are serving halal food. Second, the interior is beautiful and creates a great ambience and is very clean. I went for dinner on Saturday and it was very busy but we got seated very quickly. Food came out very quickly as well and the staff was very friendly. Food: I got the Roti Mataba and my partner got the Panang Crispy Duck. Both were so delicious. Mine was an appetizer so a bit smaller but they really filled up the roti with chicken and the sauce that came with the dish was so yummy. My partner really liked his dish and the duck was very crispy. Plenty of parking around and right in front of the 57 bus stop so worth a visit!

Ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup which was delicious and fresh tasting, and the chicken cashew nut. Both were very tasty and perfectly cooked. Service was quick.

Amazing new place that open in Brighton. Nice menu, good ambience, very clean. Service was prompt, and the servers are really friendly and kind. They explained the items on the menu and showed pictures. Food was prompt, appetizers were delicious especially the wings and the soups. The food came timely and was very fresh and tasty. Price is that reasonable. Street parking. Amazing halal option for Boston!!

Nice service, friendly people. I really wanted to like this place. Food is not fresh and it is bland.

I'm already craving the spicy tofu soup again . (Goodbye savings) joking aside, im so happy I've found this gem. This was our second time ordering delivery from Seoul Topokki. We remembered it being really good…read morethe first time, so we went for round two. We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

(but I'm sure the record shops were closed, if there are even any still open these days) however that may be why the food was terrible so YMMV. I should have known better seeing that they did not sell shawarma that it was going to be a disappointing experience. I ordered the mix plate - around $22 total. The gyro meat was so dry that when reheated, took on a crunchy texture. The chicken did not please. it was lacking in flavor. The rice seemed to be basic white rice, which surprised me because most mediterranean/arabic restaurants have really great tasty rice. the bread that came with the meal was pretty good, but with the other elements of the meal being subpar, it was not enjoyable at all. The selection of drinks there is basic soda that's either high in sugar or high in caffeine, I suppose thats typical since many college students live in this area. I don't think I'll return. I finished maybe half of it, and reluctantly threw the rest away (I hate wasting food but this was not even food I would give to the homeless).

Ordered: Zaatar & Cheese Flatbread (~$8)…read more Aya's take: Being Lebanese myself, I love a good manousheh (aka flatbread) and didn't expect to see a place making them here in Boston. The Zaatar & Cheese Flatbread was made fresh. The zaatar was nicely spiced and slightly sweet which I'm not used to, the cheese they use is mozzarella which isn't traditional, and the dough is super thin crust which is also not traditional. Zaatar is typically earthy, nutty, and lemony from the oregano and sumac and the cheese should've been Akawi cheese. The dough should also be slightly thicker and fluffier. It would've been nice if they did the Zaatar on one side and the Cheese on the other side. We saw the table next to us get their's that way and I wish it was offered to us like that as that's my preferred option. Nonetheless, decent try and always happy to support an Arab business!
