The inside is decorate with colorful garlands and a beautiful mural. The waitstaff were incredibly kind, helpful, and great personalities - we loved them! For instance, we hoped for some chai, and although they originally said they ran out, they later came with fresh cups for us :) The food was equally great -- strong flavors, great spice levels. I went to the lunch buffet today and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and price. The lunch buffet was only $14 and the food was flavorful. They had a multitude of chicken and veggie options like chicken tikka masala and chicken curry and tanddori chicken. It would have been nice to have some pescatarian options and spinach. They also had feuit and some type of dish with yoguurt and rice. It is definitely worth trying, but note that the options are limited. read more

Very impressed! My coworker and I decided to grab Indian for lunch and we were not disappointed! We both ordered the Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan, hefty portions of rice and entree! I was so satisfied, I was able to make this into 3 meals! I have no complaints! One of our new favorite Indian restaurants! We went between lunch and dinner; just missing the lunch buffet. It was nice and quiet, but enjoyable. The naan was pure perfection. I loved the green chili naan and the garlic cheddar naan. The mint sauce was absolutely my favorite to dip it in. The meat trio I ordered was perfectly cooked and while described as an appetizer, I found it to be perfect sized and came home with leftovers. The service was outstanding. Best buffet place where you get everything at one stop. They have veg, non- veg , snacky items, chats , desserts. Namaste also has dosa nights over the week days. Mushroom pepper fry is a must try , I am not a mushroom person but it took me with surprise. They have a nice outdoor seating in summers. I called to check if they had the buffet that day and if it was still open, they confirmed and told me come on in. The food was some of the best Indian food I have had, ever. Considering it was on their lunch buffet makes it even more impressive. I saw a negative review that someone felt like they were not treated well due to not being Indian, I had the opposite experience. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and hospitable. We gave a feedback to one of the waiters, he didn't seem to care and walked away. I gave feedback to another, and he seemed to think this is normal spice level. I told him that I have been here in the past and that I normally consume high level of hot/spicy food at home, but the buffet food was too much for me. Food was delicious, but if you're not an Indian customer, good luck trying to get the service. This place seems to have a lot of regular customers. My son and I were there on a Saturday night for over 50 minutes before we finally got our food and that's because I yelled at them. They sat 5 Indian customers after us and they all get their food before we did. The server was very apologetic. It's just hard to rate it 4-5stars when you had to watch 5 tables that came after you got their food before you did. I was delighted to discover that the family that runs my favorite Indian to-go place, Cafe India (Franklin, TN), has picked up this place. This particular venue had previously changed hands multiple times in the past 3 yrs. Previously going by Hydrabad Cafe(?) and Persis. The current owner, Uday was busy cooking in the back when I arrived during their Lunch Buffet (11am-2:30pm). As the heart and soul of the place, he's highly involved and keeps standards high. Food: The food was outstanding. A level above in terms of quality. My favorite, outside of the stereotypical Butter Chicken, was the Veg Korma, Roganjosh and this amazing desert called Dudh Dulari, which was lightly milky and had pineapple pieces and other fruits that were shredded. I highly enjoyed it! Service: The staff are all incredibly nice, attentive and work almost *too* hard :p Ambiance: The music and decore were all authentic without being too much. First time at this new restaurant. What happened? We loved Bombay Bistro when it was at this very location years ago especially for Sunday Buffet! I met my friends there for an evening meal. I ordered an eggplant dish with mild spice. Ouch--It was still quite spicy for mild but edible. It seemed rather mushy and greasy. The waiter had much to be desired. It seemed difficult for him to understand our order/English at times and his accent was rather thick so also hard for us to understand. Anyway, we repeatedly had to ask for missing items on our order once served- lack of service on his part as he was at other tables. The robot brought the forgotten items to our table!:). I loved the rice. I ordered Apollo Fish to go. It didn't look nor taste like I thought it would once I got home. It was soft chunks with the typical red spicy sauce. The manager was very nice and gave us a complimentary dessert which was tasty. I am Not interested in returning. I was disappointed based on my past Indian food restaurants. I'll stick to less expensive buffets instead of overpriced confusing-sounding dishes on a four-page menu. I am not from India which would have helped to identify all the dishes on the menu. A few pictures of food dishes would help. I give it two stars for decor and cleanliness! Beware ---they added their own tip after the grand total. That wasn't expected. The food was delicious - every dish....they even had a robotic waiter deliver part of it. The customer service was next level. When leaving I almost dropped my leftovers bag and two staff members rushed over to catch it for me and assist me in replacing a rice container I damaged in my attempt to not drop it. read more

This is the real deal, pun intended. The food is quite authentic, hands down some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had and I've been to many places. The best cooking Is always when you sit down at someone's house, well this is just like that. They use the best spices and ingredients.
