Nana located in the new swanky food hall called Stixs. We came right when it opened so it wasn't so packed. Right at 12pm, it becomes packed with hordes of hungry families. I ordered the iced matcha adzuki shiratama latte. The matcha quality itself was on point, and the mixture of adzuki gives the drink a little texture. It also comes with whipped cream which looks pretty, but I think next time I will opt out of it since the drink is already sweet and creamy. Absolutely love Nana's matcha soft serve. I've been to Nana's a few times before they closed (due to Covid), and since they recently reopened, I have to say that it's still just as good as before. This time around I had the matcha warabimochi & the hojicha shiratama parfaits! Taste wise, both were quite delicious. My favorite one was the matcha because I love the matcha soft serve, however I love the unique pieces of mochi in each. Service wise, when we went, there was 1 person working alone. She was able to get our order out within 10 minutes, so that was great. Lastly, Nana's is located inside of Stix Waikiki, which is full of Japanese food stalls. If you're a fan of matcha/hojicha, you'll have to give Nana's Green Tea a try. I'm not going to lie, when I stayed in Waikiki, I came here 3 days in a row to be able to try the different options. The matcha taste was strong, which is something I appreciate because the flavor can easily be overpowered in other desserts and the hojicha had a noticeable roasted flavor. - Matcha w/ Shiratama & Azuki (5/5) - Hojicha w/ Shiratama & Azuki (4/5) - Hojicha w/ Warabimochi (4/5) - The mochi was so soft but I do wish they gave more. The price definitely feels a little steep, but given it's location in Waikiki, it's definitely not out of the ordinary. Reminder that it only takes cash. They do have some seasonal items like the cherry blossom flavor, which I didn't get to try, but highly recommend if you're into matcha/hojicha. read more

There are some seating areas around it. I personally had to rate 4 instead of 5 because I got an anxiety attack after drinking this, my heart was racing and uncontrollably shaking however, I'm a little more sensitive to caffeine than others. I usually get matcha on the daily and this has only happened to me before with Vietnamese coffee so I'd say that if you are sensitive to caffeine to not get it. The food hall that was Yokocho is now Stix Asia.  We remember all the good eats that were here before the pandemic and so glad it's open again. Super excited that Nana's green tea is back! But one of my favorite items, the parfait, is not on the menu. They used to have shaved ice as well. Hopefully they will bring it back in the future! On this trip we visited Nana's 2x so we could try different items. I can say that I now love the Hojicha roasted green tea more than the matcha flavored. It is a bit smokey and almost like chocolate, definitely a stronger taste yet still lightly sweet for a wonderful treat! I can't decide on the toppings so I got both the mochi and the azuki beans.  Nana's reminds me of the delicious dessert spots when I visited in Japan and it made my Oahu trip wonderful! read more
