Just a mind boggling experience. From the moment we got to the counter the lady "helping" us was super rude and short. We felt like we had to walk on egg shells around her. Well, god forbid I ask for a modification on my overpriced sandwich. She absolutely blew up and gave me a nasty attitude. Unfortunately, we apparently hit this place up too late; there was hardly anything left by the time we stopped by (around noon). That being said, their GF carrot cupcake was delicious, as were their white/black cookie, key lime bar, and their rhubarb bar. The bacon breakfast sandwich was not good - way too much bread for what's inside. We don't live in the area, but if we return to Bend, we'll make sure to stop here earlier so we can try their cinnamon rolls. read more

I ordered it 1/2 and 1/2 with a cup of soup. Still a fair sized sandwich. The bread was tasty and fresh but maybe isn't the right style for this sandwich. We were disappointed with the salads that we ordered recently but more surprised by the rudeness of the blond haired woman behind the counter. Figuring that we all have bad days, my wife returned with my daughter today. Lightning struck twice. Oh my goodness! I stopped here for a treat and was not disappointed! I had a Marionberry scone, probably the best scone I have had in 15 years. The chocolate croissant was amazing as well. It felt like sitting in grandma's house, all cozy with soft music playing and the smell of cinnamon rolls. The scones are baked to crumbly perfection. The Frittata was soft, cheesy, and full of perfectly cooked veggies. The coffee hit just right, and was not over sweetened (a hard thing to find these days). Had a really nice lunch here with the family... The Turkey Pesto and Chicken w/Gorgonzola sandwiches and House Salad with Chicken were all tasty. Good coffee and great service from the sweet guy at the counter. The sandwiches are pre-made on their wonderful bread, so you are served very quickly. The downside is that they have been sitting in a refrigerated case just below the cupcakes and brownies, so everything was served cold. I think our Brownie Puddle and Strawberry Cupcake would have been much better if they were served warm or even room temperature. You shouldn't have to struggle to cut a brownie with the word "puddle" in the name. Also, the sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side and don't come with any sides (chips, salad). There isn't a kids' menu, but they can make grilled cheese or PB&J if you ask. And the kids just loved looking at all of the goodies in the display cases. One funny thing... the employees have shirts that say "Quicheologist" on the back. Really cute. But, we didn't see a quiche menu or any quiches on display. Could be that we were there too late in the day or were just oblivious (I'm not ruling this out), but I'll have to come back for breakfast next time. More thorough tasting (and hopefully a fresh warm dessert) shall be required before I spring for the five. read more

Their bars are good, and the pockets are really popular as well with egg, cheese, ham/bacon/veggie options.
