This is your classic hometown breakfast spot/dinner! The service is great! The staff floats around with 2 carafes of coffee, Decaf and regular. Your cup is never empty. They are friendly and very prompt. Menu is basic breakfast items. The food doesn't "wow" you but is good. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast kinda stuff. Noise level isn't too high for it being such an open floor plan. Prices are very decent as well. I'll be back for sure! read more

The parks have stiff competition when it comes to diner breakfast spots Robin's Nest is somewhat in an unfortunate spot being included in such a large pack. Pros: -Simple menu offer breakfast lunch, and dinner. Should appeal to most moods -Staff was very efficient for a busier day and friendly. I was impressed. -No issues with the lot or parking. They have an ATM too, which for me is always a plus Cons: -Compared to all the others in a 3 mile radius, they are simply meh in terms of relation to food quality and price. Simply put, there are better options -Atmosphere is really dreary, especially on a rainy day. Carpet, drop ceiling and walls could use a facelift. Bottom Line: -It wasn't bad, but I can't say it was "good enough" to get anywhere on my normal breakfast locations. It can be a fine establishment, but needs to do more to avoid being at the rear of the pack. read more

If you eat in the restaurant, the food is amazing. If you place an order, you better check it before you leave. Both times we have ordered out from there (in the last two weeks) the order is messed up bad! Three orders of over easy eggs that came to us as over hard and the whites of the eggs were a rubber consistency. Asked for gravy, no gravy. Asked for no cheese in the skillet, got cheese in the skillet. The last order was just as bad. I know they are short staffed but still no excuse, two weeks in a row. Was on my way to another diner for breakfast when I saw this one tucked into a strip mall. I ordered the Robin's Nest special: 2 eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy on potatoes or biscuits for $5.95. What sets great diners apart is their attention to details. Things like bacon that tastes freshly cooked instead of pre-cooked and then reheated; Quality sausage links with casings instead of those preformed things that come with microwave instructions; sausage gravy that is well seasoned on its own and doesn't need a tablespoon of salt to bring out a little flavor. This cafe was lacking in some of those areas. A couple tweaks and this could be a regular spot for me. I'm just not sure I would stop again to find out. read more

My daughter and I came in for breakfast and we ordered the robin special, we waited an hour for NOTHING special. the sausage was a brown and serve, grisly & the bacon was 99% fat 1% meat. The eggs had the brown burnt bits. The gravy had little to no flavor, the biscuits were underdone mush. I feel nauseous. You can get a better meal at the McDonald's down the road. read more

Poor services, waitresses are forgetful and rude. I.e there was a table on reserve and they asked people not to sit there even though there was NO signage and the place is a self seating cafe. Our food took almost an half hour. Would not recommend Robins nest cafe ever to anyone. Please avoid this place and it's poor service. read more

It's Good old fashion café breakfast and famous grandma biscuit & Gravy!

Its hard to say this but I used to love this place when it was at its old location. Its was still great at the new place but not for very long. Alot of us looked forward to grandmas or Robins cooking. Something has changed I dont know whos cooking now but its nowhere near as good of food and I say this with sadness. To be fair I havent been back in several months hopefully its back to its great old self read more
