I've been to Nancy's Bridal Boutique about three different times while searching for my wedding dress, and every single visit has been nothing short of amazing. Scheduling an appointment is super quick and easy, which already sets the tone for a great experience. I worked with Annie, and let me just say... she is a GEM. She seriously feels like a best friend you've known forever -- bubbly, kind, and just so easy to talk to. She's incredible at her job. Not pushy at ALL, but somehow understands exactly what you want even before you fully know how to explain it. She listened to everything I liked and didn't like, and within the first four dresses, she found my dress. Like... who does that?! She nailed it. One thing I loved most is how willing they are to work with you to make sure your dress feels perfectly "you." They'll mix and match details from different gowns, try out accessories, and help piece together ideas until it feels right. They truly want your dress to be something you absolutely love -- not just something they can sell. They care deeply about your happiness, confidence, and how you feel on your wedding day, and that shows in everything they do. Nancy's has such a beautiful variety of gowns -- literally not a single ugly dress in the place. Everything is high-quality, elegant, and unique. The whole boutique has this warm, welcoming "home" feeling, and the entire staff is so kind. I truly felt blessed to have found this place. And honestly? For the quality and service you get, the prices are really reasonable compared to many other bridal stores. Nancy's bridal boutique has some very cute and trendy dresses. I really appreciated being able to go in and look through the dresses myself and pull the ones I wanted to try on. My bridal consultant Emily was the sweetest! After listening to my feedback on the dresses I picked, she pulled some really beautiful ones for me to try. However, I feel like they were really short staffed here. She had to bounce between a couple other rooms/brides. I just thought it was strange since I booked my appointment in advance and expected to be the only client. Compared to other bridal shops, Nancy's just had chaotic energy (kids running around, and bridal consultant having to bounce between other brides) and didn't really feel like a luxurious experience like I had elsewhere. Everything here is so, so gorgeous. We were immediately greeted by the owner, who was genuinely so excited to greet every single guest (and they had quite a few!). We were allowed free reign to browse the dresses in the shop and once we found some, gave them to a dressing room attendant who put them in the room for us. I liked this process of not having a salesperson the entire time, and simply someone who was there to aid you if needed. I tried on several gorgeous dresses and really enjoyed the stylist that I was paired with. She was super friendly and helpful, listening to everything I had to say. She helps you get into the dresses and clips them so you can see the actual fit. She can add belts or pin back lace or any details you don't want on the dress - just so you can see what it'd look like if altered. Although I didn't find my specific dress here, their selection was one of the best and I was in awe of all the beauty and kindness in this particular store. Was not impressed with the customer service or work. I got my wedding dress altered and the bolero that I purchased there had a hole in it that they told me they would fix but did not. My bridesmaids ordered their own dresses with boleros and they sent the wrong ones, unfortunately there was no time to get the other ones shipped. Absolutely loved my experience here! Julie-Anne made it a point to get to know me and what my ideas for a dress where. She even asked about my wedding theme and what my dream dress would be. I didn't feel rushed once and they went above and beyond to help me see all the dresses I tried on in different parts of the store for different lighting, so we could get the feel for what it would actually look like the day of the wedding. I've been to Nancy's twice now; with my sister to pick her wedding dress (a few years ago) and with my best friend so she could pick hers (this weekend). I'm surprised to such negative reviews, I had positive experiences both times. Nancy herself helped both times, but I'll talk more about my recent visit. After asking her budget, she walked my friend around and guided her towards some dresses she may be interested in and together they chose a few for her to try on. Nancy was really good about not only obviously helping her get the dresses on, but also pairing them with a veil and even earrings so we could get the full picture of what it could really look like. Dress #2 was the one and the appointment was super easy. The inside of Nancy's is also very cute and while we waited between dresses we were offered mimosas. The dresses are arranged by style (sections like "sweet" and "ultra glam") rather than by designer, which is fine by me but could bother some. I can understand that other people have not had the best experiences here but I would recommend at least giving it a shot if you are in the market for a wedding dress. They seem to have quite a unique selection and the service has yet to show any cracks to me. read more

My experience here was very pleasant. I've only been to two bridal company's before (this one and Davids Bridal) I would recommend this place over Davids bridal every time. The lady we had was very nice and very sweet. They were understaffed and if though she was being pulled every which way for other customers and other employees I never felt like she lost her attention for us. With my bridesmaids all over the country and one international I quickly found my best bet would be to choose the designer, fabric, color, and length and send my ladies to stores with those in place! Nancy's was most convenient for one of my local bridesmaids and her daughter who is one of my attendants/junior maids. It was great being able to join them on a Friday afternoon and have them be my life size Barbie's for a couple hours. Nancy's has a nice variety of dresses but would benefit from more organization. Designers were mixed about with not much sense to the order. Many other salons have at least grouped designers to make the process smooth when a certain designer has been solidified. There were only two ladies working that could help and it was definitely not as special of an experience as I would've liked. They did offer assistance as we finalized selections, but were completely on our own during the trying on and even had to put dresses back ourselves. This was the third store i have gone with one of my bridesmaids in the past two months and I would say this trip was the most chaotic and the same designer and styles seemed to be a little higher priced than what I had been finding elsewhere. We were able to get the process outlined and file created for order placement after both mom and daughter were sized, so praying things go smooth from here on! read more

I needed to get a mother of the bride for my daughters wedding! I had ordered dresses and sent them back. We had been driving around Castleton square mall! In and out of stores! My husband and I happened to be driving by a small strip mall and saw Nancy's Bridal. We stopped and went in! It was a Saturday and they were busy with appointments and bridal groups trying on dresses. I asked if it would be ok if I could look around. The busy staff was very accomodating and told me that I could try on anything and showed me where the dressings rooms were and how they could help! Let me preface this review with the fact that this was my first experience in a bridal boutique... And it makes me never want to go again. I am in search of my Maid of Honor dress for my best friends wedding, and am the only one in the wedding party out of state. With that in mind, I really needed more help them less. I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment for a fitting and was responded to like it was a crazy question. I have two fittings scheduled at other boutiques so I knew I wasn't too far off. The lady on the phone just told me to come in and try on dresses. Well that was the wrong answer. I arrived.. Watched multiple employees walk by me without a second glance then finally was directed to a wall of dresses by the designer I needed. Then left to my own devices. It was way overwhelming and generally miserable. Having no real idea where to start or how to go about searching through some 100 odd dresses, I simply just started pulling some off the rack. A lady started me a fitting room then I was again left on my own. With no one to take photos or even zip up my dresses, I quickly made my way through my stack of dresses, wrote down my fave style numbers and left NEVER to return. Nancy's Bridal Boutique is a lovely store with a wide variety of dress styles to choose from when shopping for a wedding dress. My daughter fell in love with her dress and we did purchase her dress from Nancy, who helped us. The dress style is very form fitting and when my daughter was measured, she had been sick. When the dress came in 6 months later, it was a bit tight, but it was a size 6 (her size) and the dress she tried on in the shop was a 10. Her measurements were only 1" bigger in each area from when she was measured for her dress. We came back in January for her first fitting and the dress was still tight and my daughter could not sit down. Nancy pinned the dress for the alternation shop which was next door. The actual seamstress did not see the fitting at all, which made us uncomfortable. Since the dress was way too tight, we decided not to use their alteration shop, especially since they gave us a quote of $550 for what we felt was a poor pinning. We also read many reviews for poor alterations of the dresses altered through Nancy's Bridal. I went back, picked up the dress and brought it to a seamstress I had found in our home town. She is amazing and was able to alter the dress to perfection. I have no doubt that the alteration shop next to Nancy's would have done a horrible job and the dress would have been ruined. I'm not going to rant on about details because at this point, my wedding has passed and there would be no point to write about the amount of phone calls, stress and disappointment this shop caused. But, I would want to know as a new bride and a first time customer what a horrible experience I had here so I'll just give you a quick run down of facts.. I ordered the Cora Watters dress. The shop ordered the wrong colored mesh several times and the first time the owner tried to tell me the sample dress (color I wanted) looked "almost the same" as the dress I had. Owner tried to "fix it" by replacing all of the mesh but in the end told me I was costing her money and blamed me for 'ordering the wrong color" in the first place. Because of all of this I got my dress from the shop less than 3 weeks from the wedding without having any fittings yet. All of my fittings took place in the last 3 weeks before the wedding and I ended up just searching for a seamstress myself because I had lost all trust. This was the the most stressful part of my wedding process. I only write this post because I hope that brides don't go through the same hassle. I'm sure there have been a lot of good experiences here but if you have any dress issues arise along the way, don't expect the owner to be of much help. read more

My review will sound very torn, maybe a little hypocritical and contradicting but it's just what happened. Go with it. My dress shopping experience, as a whole, was very hard because I had just moved to Indiana before the engagement and I didn't know many people here, not to mention my parents were living in in Hawaii at the time so I was already vulnerable in this process. Shopping for your wedding dress with a new friend is really difficult. First time I went to Nancy's I was advised by an acquaintance who just found her dress there. I was excited to see what they have and talk to a consultant who could offer suggestions as to what would look good on me. I had an appointment and Nancy was my girl. Knowing this made me feel special right off the bat since this is her salon right? Well it was a little short lived because the store was so busy her focus was not on me. I would have not been one of "those brides" had it not been for my lack of mom around or any close friends. So my first experience just sucked. She did not really help me with any ideas of her own, just pulled the dresses I picked out. I just wanted her professional opinion as to my budget and what she thought would look good on me. I found my dress, no tears, no heart palpitations, just knew I couldn't wait to wear it again. But, I needed my parents approval so I waited on it. I couldn't tell if Nancy was pissed that I wasn't buying right away or if she was just trying to get to the next customer since she was clearly the only one working. So I go back a few times, buy the dress, come back when it arrives and am bummed because she definitely ordered at least 2 sizes too big. I know you need to be on the safe side but I felt like it was a ploy for definite alterations. And when I finally tried on MY very own dress, it wasn't with Nancy, and the other consultant just left me to stare at myself in the mirror in a ill-fitting dress in the middle of the store. I finally had to pull a bridezilla and walk over to her sitting by the counter and say, "What am I supposed to do know, this is my first wedding dress you know?!" I couldn't take the lack of caring or helpfulness any more. Sheesh. Luckily my mom was finally in town when it came time for alterations and Nancy was like a whole different person. Very friendly and helpful. Got us great discounts in buying a gorgeous sample Enzoani belt for half the price of a new one and a slightly used veil for super cheap as well. Anytime I went in after that, it was a totally different experience. This place could really great if the staff cared more and Nancy didn't have to tread water all day. Alterations - just fine, no complaints Accessories - plenty of options but stupid expensive, ask if you can buy the store samples then just have them cleaned Dresses - nice selection but limited brands if you are looking for something in particular Bridesmaids - They have tons of options. I had a very disappointing with this company. In the beginning, I loved my dress and was so happy with the staff upon purchasing. I got my dressed altered at the boutique per their suggestion with their seamstress and I would highly recommend NOT doing the same. I had only the straps altered, bra cups put in, and the button hooks fixed and nothing else changed! The morning of the wedding I put the dress on and within 3-5 minuets of wearing it (without moving...just my mom and MOH putting on the veil and buttoning me), the left strap broke. It popped off so easily, I was shocked. My mom, MOH, and Mother in law had to fix not only the left strap but also the right strap because it was such shambley work. The straps looked like they were hardly secured. The three of them had to use needle and thread and safety pins to secure my dress....and it took about 30 minutes. I was unable to take about 15% of the pictures I had wanted either due to time or to the fact I was scared to move in my dress. It was extremely disappointing that the words out of my mouth to my dad during his first look were "please don't hug me too tight because I'm scared the dress will break again". I was unable to hold my niece during the day because I didn't want the dress to break. During my actual ceremony, I found myself praying that every time we kneeled or moved, that my dress wouldn't break. I even had to pack a white sundress to take with me to the church and reception venue just in case the quick fixe didn't hold the rest of the day. After getting back from the honeymoon, my husband called to ask for a refund and received a very small refund. My husband spoke with the owner and after a few minutes of conversing, he was hung up on. The owner had claimed "the dress was perfect" despite the alterations clearly being low quality work. Me and my family have all been shocked that an owner would hang up on a client. It's very disappointing that a company that claims it wants to see all their brides smile and make your bridal fantasies come true, doesn't seem to care at all that their work ruined the wedding day. The collection of dresses here are beautiful and I wouldn't trade my dress for any other and the girls who work here are pretty friendly. I recommend you don't get your alterations here though the alterations are done by the owner so as you read other reviews you will see why if it's not done the way you want your pretty screwed . She left my dress shorter than desired( then argued with me and my mom about it ) and I asked for it to specifically drag a little in the front but I had an outdoor wedding so the grass was a little long so my dress ended up looking the perfect length . read more

Went there specifically for a dress that I had my eye on for years and they were only place close that still had it. Tried it on first hand. They had it waiting. After we walked around a bit and pulled some dresses, Ericka our consultant pulled me into the room to start trying on. I tried on a total of 10 dresses. After I tried on the ones my friends and family picked, she pulled a few that when she I spoke in the dressing room marched what I was looking for. I ended up picking one that I would have never picked myself or anyone else picked and it was fabulous! She did a wonderful job! It was a little over the price by $400 but wasn't that big of a deal for me. Hopefully I continue to have a wonderful experience. I'd also like to add that she was very kind about having my 7 year old niece come in the dressing room and "help". What little girl wouldn't love that! read more

My daughter got married this past weekend and she got her dress at Nancy's. The dress required alterations and we chose to get them done there at the salon. We went for our first fitting and were quoted $535 total for alterations. I felt that was high but they were doing quite a few things including, hemming layers of tulle, taking in the body, sewing in new bra pads and adding hooks for a bustle. We had another fitting and needed a few additional things done including some details on the top re sewn to a new place and hooks added to complete the bustle. The owner of the salon actually removed detail with a razor blade and arranged it with stick pins on the strap of her dress and added safety pins to show where the bustle hooks should go. We were set to pick up the dress the day before the wedding and all alterations were paid in full. My niece picked it up for us day of rehearsal and took it to the place the girls were staying. She said they couldn't find the dress. Took them 15 min to find it but they finally did. Fast forward to wedding day and the bride is getting photographed for the first time when the photographer asks "Are those pins supposed to be in there?" Lo and behold the stick pins, along with the safety pins were all still there. The alterations were never done. She was in tears and had to go through the wedding making sure she didn't get stuck and making sure they didn't show. They couldn't be removed because it left an open spot of netting on the dress where the detail was removed. I called Nancy's to let them know that I would be coming in on Monday with the dress. I was greeted with a lot of excuses and told that most people have those "emergency sewing kits" for stuff like that. The reason they couldn't find the dress was because it was with the dresses that still needed to be altered but yet when they finally found it, they simply sent it with my niece without checking to make sure it was done. I was refunded $135 and was told that was all that they could do bc so much work was done. The bra pads literally fell out when she took the dress off as well. I'm sad to say the owner was not accommodating and blamed most of it on us which is absurd. I was extremely disappointed since we paid $2200 total and the dress was not finished. We will not be referring our friends here because of how we were treats after our event. read more

I have to agree with previous posters that Nancy's ...while a nice little boutique, has a lot to be desired. Nancy (the owner) is a lovely younger woman but she is always on the go and sometimes, seems like she is the only one WORKING. And, that makes for haste as she scampers about on her four inch heels trying to get everyone everything they need. When I was shopping for bridal gowns, I did choose a dress from Nancy's after some debate, put a deposit down and then ...decided I didn't want it. I knew I would lose the money I put down and I was OK with that, but Nancy was not. She gave me a lot of attitude when I politely called to tell her that I would no longer be wanting my dress. She said that it was rude of me to "abandon my gown". Well, that's OK...my dress will still go on... Nancy is a very soft spoken, non-excitable woman. I think brides NEED more than that. Being in the bridal business myself, I really take their excitement to heart and relay that in my own service. I'm not saying EVERYONE should do this, but I do think people who work at bridal stores should TRY. My sister and I stopped in Nancy's by appt. and were rushed through the process. My sister didn't' have a lot of "hands on" help getting in and out of the gowns in comparison with other places we had been, who practically DRESSED her FOR her. While we really liked one gown, she chose another from another store b/c ...well, the service was better, the woman SELLING the dress was excited and gushing and frankly, we just didn't want to deal with Nancy's. SO, while it's "A-OK"...I don't think it's nearly top notch but with so many limited options and David's as it's competition, I guess I don't see how brides have any other choice than to at least give it a shot. Just keep in mind that appt. or not, there won't be a lot of one on one service and the staff is less than thrilled to be excited for you. read more

1st off, I can't speak to the alterations. I didn't have mine done here, because I didn't want to have to fly in for fittings. I bought my dress here. It was a Watters Wtoo Brides dress, I loved it. I drug my friends, family & the poor sales girl through about 2 hours of, this one.... 3 minutes spent changing into the other one, or... this one. In the end, I went with the one no one really liked except for me, because I had vision. ;) The sales girl was a doll. She was nice, but a little young, and they really kept her busy. She was kind of running around like a crazy. It was a bit crowded, and the other sales ladies were a bit.. snobby (for lack of a better word) but I didn't find it off putting. Mind you, I'd been shopping in NYC previously, I can take quite a bit of snobbery. I picked my dress, paid for 1/2, then the other 1/2 when I picked it up. Price seemed reasonable, based on some online research, and it came with Cap sleeves, which was an added perk. I bought at the lower end of the price range for Nancy's which was appx $1000. It worked out. It wasn't a WONDERFUL, AMAZING experience.. but it was good. I left happy. A-OK. read more

I was just at Nancy's recently to find my wedding dress! My mom and I went to the store a few hours before my appointment just to browse around. I had so much help when I went in there. Even though it was busy because it was a Saturday everyone asked me how I was doing. Nancy came right up to me and said she actually had some time to squeeze me in even though my appointment was 2 hours later. The shop itself had a great section! Such good prices too for being a boutique. I love the classy style in the store too with the long mirrors. Nancy brought three of the dresses I picked out and helped me with accessories and offering her opinion. She gave her professional judgement and lead Me to pick my dress!! Even though Nancy was busy she still offered that 1:1 attention I needed. I am so happy I choose this dress and I cannot applaud the people who work there enough. I am absolutely appalled at the service that I received at this boutique. I found the wedding dress of my dreams and couldn't have been more excited to walk down the aisle in it. There was no doubt in my mind that I would be purchasing this dress at this boutique because initially the service was wonderful. I even had my mom drive down from northern Indiana to purchase a mother of the bride dress at this boutique. However, getting the alterations done here was an utter nightmare! I understand that it might take a couple fittings to get any dress right. But at every FIVE of my fittings, mistakes after mistakes were made to the point that the $3k+ dress is completely destroyed along the front of the hem line. At the third fitting, where the hem was supposed to be completed, I walked in and they completely forgot to make any alternations to the dress, asked me to come back in an hour and it doesn't take much of the imagination to picture what alternation done in an hour would look like. At my final fitting, when I would be going home with the dress, as I was pulling the dress off, the cups of the bust went flying off (an issue that was addressed in the second fitting) and I was ensured that everything else was perfect- up to their standards. As soon as I get home, after paying almost $500 for these alternations, I open the garment bag to the pictures below. Completely forgetting to trim the excess hem. Once we returned to the boutique, it was told to us that it is because they are "extremely busy" and missed these "little details". After expressing all these concerns, frustrations, and tears, Nancy felt it professionally courteous to offer us $50 for gas. My wedding is two weeks away and even though in the grand scheme of things, I am marrying the love of my life and the day will be perfect, I couldn't be more upset about this experience and I STRONGLY encourage all brides to be to stay clear of this boutique. read more

They have a great selection of dresses. But the girls who work at this store are more worried about making tik toks than helping brides. After you make your purchase and they have your money, they are not helpful and act like they're doing you a favor by helping or answering any questions. The communication between their team is also lacking. I spoke to TWO different girls about changing my pickup time and they did not update their system or leave a note for their teammates who were working that day. The dresses are also marked up higher than some other bridal stores I shopped at that carry the same dresses. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Nancy's Bridal. I was hesitant to try this shop as I've heard (WOM and reviews) that it was on the pricey side. Compared to other shops I tried, I felt it was very fair and I found multiple options in my limited budget. Please note, there is a limited selection of sale dresses and they are all sized 10-12. I did see a dress here that was almost $100 more than at a competitor (Posey Patch mean people store) but the service you get here is far worth the additional cost. Both of the ladies that helped me (Nancy-the Nancy!-and Jessica) were both very kind, patient, and not the least bit pushy. The music is relaxing, the mirrors and lighting are fantastic too. I ended up finding "the one" on my 2nd visit to this shop. I came in and planned on picking between 2 dresses that I previously tried on but also wanted to try on a few additional to ensure I was making the right decision. Nancy ended up finding me the most beautiful gown and it was on sale! I will admit, I went slightly over budget but felt I paid a very fair price. I only paid $150 more than the same dress is running (used) on pre-owned sites (oncewed and tradesy). I also received my quote for alterations which is right in-line with what other shops quoted and what I've heard from other brides. They are storing my dress for no charge and then I return in a few months for alterations. I would highly recommend Nancy's Bridal to anyone. Almost didn't try this store (even though it's closest to my house) and so glad I decided to make an appointment. You really do vote with your wallet and this store is well deserving of my vote. read more

I would not recommend using Nancy's bridal because my daughter's strap on her wedding dress, that was altered by Nancy's, broke where it had been sewn only 5 minutes after putting the dress on the morning of the wedding. We had to spend time sewing and pinning both straps, which took away time from pictures, and because we were not seamstresses, we did not know if what we did would hold so this caused the bride much stress for the rest of her wedding day. Mistakes are made, but when the groom called the owner of Nancy's and asked for a full refund for the bad seamstress work, the owner hung the phone up on him. read more

I could not have been more satisfied with my appointment. I had Nancy herself who was the most kind and humble woman. I ended up getting my dress from Nancy's, but felt zero pressure to purchase a dress that day. The staff was so kind to myself, friends, and Mom. I have never wrote a bad review but I feel the need to share that the bridesmaid dresses I ordered were not the right color. My colors are pink and mint green ( mint green is my fav color). So I had searched all over for a pink and mint green dress(one shoulder) and found some but all they has were swatches to show us the pictures of the colors. Well when we got the dresses in discovered they are not mint, but blue. When I went in to talk to them about it they were rude, telling me they couldn't do anything and that those were the colors they showed us, even though they weren't. They said there was nothing they could do, so now I'm stuck with blue and pink for my colors, and my mint green decorations won't match. Nancys Bridal ruined my colors and wouldn't offer to do anything to help! read more

This was the first store I visited to find my wedding dress. The consultant, Amanda, was wonderful and made me feel special and comfortable. The dress selection was outstanding. The best I saw at any of the 4 stores I visited. They organize the dresses by style rather than by designer, which I loved. I did not purchase my wedding dress from Nancy's, but I'll be returning to look at bridesmaid dresses. read more
