My first bad brow experience left me with painful raw skin above and below my eyebrows. The lady was nice but just played it off like it was normal that my skin was so red afterwards. Went it today at noon and by 5 my toes are already cracking and chipped. The girl that did my toes seemed very nice but the man that works there rushed her to get to another customer. This same man did my DIP and it turned out ok, however he didn't take the time to clean the product that was left on my fingers/cuticles. He also rushed to fix someone's nails from a day before and couldn't wait to get me out of there. Also when you get a dip I assume you would get a manicure/massage for $44....well none of that was included!!! Came in the day before Thanksgiving and she took me no problem and soaked my acrylics off and gave me gel polish in 45 minutes completely soaked off none of that under the nail stuff! Highly recommend! read more

This is an ok choice for a manicure, but skip the pedicure. Was not shown a menu of options nor was one posted. He slapped the bottom of my foot which was weird (a first out of years of pedicures in my lifetime so far) and not relaxing. Very rushed and there was a sick kid in the back so my guy had to leave for ten minutes to get medicine for them. Sitcoms on and awkward silence/workers speaking another language. Just tried this place out for the first time. I'm impressed! Doesn't look like much, but the services were great!! Ivy did a wonderful job on my gel manicure ($30 before tip). The tools were opened from a sterile bag, and cuticle cutting was gentle and detailed. She even put a third coat on before I could even ask. I'll be back. You should try it out too! read more

I called to make an appointment at 6pm with Nancy. I get there and she just started on a new client so I had to wait 35 minutes for her to service me. Plus she was super rough when doing my nails. Also there was girl next to me who had old acrylics so yes it's going a hurt. Instead of soaking them off they removed them but pulling them off. After removing her nails they said your nails are too thin we can't do them, give your nails a break. The girl was like um I have events this weekend I can't go around with my finger nails looking super ugly and sore. I got a full set with gel and matte I paid $45 but with the yelp check in you get 10 percent off so came out to $41. I left a tip on my card to make it an even $45, I look at my account today and she charged my card $47. Which I can afford the $47 but it's the principle of not charging more of what I wrote. I have also attached photos of my full set. Would I come back? Probably not they are so thin and feel like their going to fall off. They don't feel like they were put on right. Update: they charged my card $46 not $47 but still. The owner messaged me on yelp not say sorry about your experience but to make sure they charged me $46 and not $47 still not what I wrote down. This is an awesome salon! It's very clean and neat and that definitely the first thing that I notice when I'm visiting a new salon. Brian did my acrylic fill with a gel color change and a regular color change for my toes. He's very efficient and attentive. I only took off one star because he was a little sloppy with the acrylic (there's still a bit that I have to pick off of my fingers) but everything else was great. This place is great! I'll admit, most of mani/pedi experiences happen in North Phoenix because I usually would go with my mil. But my aunt was visiting from out of town and we were both due for a little nail TLC. I didn't know where to go so I starting scanning yelp and the interwebs looking for help. I wanted something that didn't require us to travel too far (she was staying near tempe diablo stadium) and we were planning on going shopping at Fashion Square later in the day (post nail mission). I was trying to avoid the craziness of downtown Scottsdale but also didn't want to go someplace fancy due due to cost efficiency and appointments typically being necessary. It can be hard to find a regular nail salon! But alas! Nancy's to the rescue. We arrived before it opened, which was perfect because we were the first ones in the door and taken care of. We weren't focused on getting in and fast, we just wanted to enjoy ourselves. They did a great job on the nails and have very reasonable prices. Their mani/pedi combo is also terrific. So I strongly suggest that if you need a place to get your nails done, Nancy's will do a great job and your feet and hands will feel extra pretty and loved. read more

The nail technician I got was a little hard to understand but I didn't mind because she did exactly what I asked for and my mani and pedi both came out great. Not a huge selection of nail polishes but they have a good selection of colors that I'd actually choose to have painted on me. Pricing is great. It was $30 for a mani and pedi. I'm in town for a couple of days for work and was in desperate need of a fill before flying out for another leg of a business trip tomorrow and was on a time crunch. I called seven different places, and finally, Nancy's said they would be free in the 25 minutes I said I would be there in due to traffic. He said there was no need to make an appointment and that he would be available for me. I luckily arrived in 20'minutes and told the gentleman I had just called in. He said "yes! And you're late!" The place is clean and it was a great location for me but at the beginning she had told me it would be $30 for everything and an extra $5 for french tips but when I went to pay she said it was $55. I'm not sure what kind of math they were raised on but 30+5+5=55. I'm not sure where the extra $15 went but I was NOT pleased to say the least. If you're going to rip me off at least give me a well done manicure, the tips are all different lengths, some rounded, some square. I will not be back. Love love love love Nancy's! I have been coming here for about 7 years now and have never had a bad experience. When my mom comes to visit, she always makes it a point to come here as well. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. They always remember their customers and always engage in conversation as well, unlike most other nail salons I have been to.
