Imagine taking a stroll through a small town in the hills of Campania. You pick up the scent of a delicious sauce and fresh plated pasta wafting through the air. You find the restaurant and get ready to taste and enjoy such a delicious meal. Then you wake up, you just had Nancy's of Lockport delivered. Soft pasta a tad over cooked with hardly any sauce to coat it. Hardly any flavor, dry, bland, underwhelming and disappointing. All of our meals were on the dry side with barely any sauce. Less of a mistake and more of purposely serving disappointing food to cut costs. I have had better food at Fazoli's, an "Italian" restaurant with a drive through window. That's how sad our tastebuds were, to prefer fast food drive through pasta. They have been slipping, but this was just horrible, and slimy feeling without the sauce. Stay away, maybe one day they will start making decent food again. read more

Horrible. Order a stuffed pizza with sausage and onion. Couldn't eat it because there was so much onion and almost no sausage. Was told 30-40 minutes. Walked in to pick it up 45 minutes later and had to wait another 30. And the place was a zoo inside. Wife loves the thin crust pizza from NANCYS. She almost always orders the special. Pizza is always hot and flavorful. I prefer the deep dish but you know what they say" happy wife, happy life" She orders usually on Friday evenings. They can get very busy in the evenings around dinner so keep that in mind. We always pickup our pizza since we live only a few miles away.They are a bit pricey but take advantage of their coupons and codes for online ordering. read more

This has the best deep dish pizza in Lockport. I always get the 1 1/2 " deep dish and counter personnel are always freindly.

Amazing deep dish. Ordered a plain cheese and there was sooo much flavor. Deep dish makes me feel like junk after I eat it usually, but this one was free of grease and nice and crispy, perfect amount of cheese. The jalapeño poppers and potato wedges were also very good. The driver apologized and said they were super busy, but they were still on time so I'm appreciative of that! Definitely a new favorite. I'm a sucker for chain restaurant pizza, I guess. read more

We love this place! I order the thin crust at least twice a month, and we practically lived off of it while moving into our house. The crust/cheese/sauce/ingredients combo is perfect! When I'm craving amazing thin crust, they're the only place I call. If you want deep dish, there's Palermo's or Giordano's in the south burbs. But for thin crust, Nancy's is where it's at! read more

First and last time ordering here. My husband wanted pasta and ordered spaghetti and meatballs and I got a small spinach salad w grilled chicken which was supposed to feed 1-2 people so I figured it would be a good meal for me. Went to pick up the food and the salad bag was small and super light. I get home and open my tiny salad the size of the one you used to get on the McDonald's menu as a side for $1. Chicken looked like dog food that came out of a can. Couldn't eat it. Had a bite of my husbands spaghetti and it was sub par, got a bite of the meatball and bit into something hard. Gross! Not sure how the pizza is here and don't care, Lockport has a lot of great pizza, Mangia is amazing. We just weren't in the mood for pizza today, so disappointed. Gave it a star because I had to. I have had several different items from this place. I really like their pizza. I'm not a big stuff pizza fan but I did like it. I had their godfather sandwich last night. It was delicious. If you really want Nancy's pizza I suggest you go to the one in Orland Park. At this Nancy's I ordered a stuffed cheese it came covered in grease the dough was soggy and the sauce was terrible it might have been made from expired tomatoes I'm not sure. read more

Late review, but finally had time to write it: My first time ordering from Nancy's and to my delight, it is the best pizza I've ever had! I ordered a medium half sausage/mushroom and the other half tomato/shrimp. I also ordered their chicken wings (plain w/barbecue sauce on side). The pizza was so delicious and the wings were amazing too! I've had my share of Giordano's, Home Run Inn, Dominos, Beggars, Pizza Hut, and countless others, but my opinion, along with my husband's, Nancy's kinda on top of the rest (well to be honest) a tie with Giordano's. The reason being is that, the one and only thing Giordano's has above all the rest is that they have chicken sausage (which we always order because my husband doesn't eat pork). I would like to suggest for Nancy's Pizza to try that ingredient as well and every other pizza places for those that do not eat pork. The chicken sausage is like the Italian sausage and adds a zing to it (instead of getting plain chicken breast and ground beef). I have bookmarked this restaurant and will make them my regular pizza place. One more thing......when I ordered my food (it was for delivery), and when it arrived, the food was still hot like they served it if I were sitting at the table!!! I love this place!!! Ordered a pizza on Oct 4th 2014 for delivery, was told it would be delivered in about 45 minutes. An hour and a half went by and called to see where the pizza was, guess what? Pizza is consistently not ready for pick up. Have had to wait repeatedly. Deep dish pizza is cut so irregularly (on a consist basis) you cannot serve this to company. If you want a pizza delivered within a reasonable time you should order from somewhere else. I ordered a medium stuffed and it finally showed up after an hour and a half this was on a Tuesday evening not on a weekend .
