had an excellent meal at Rosebud Lemont today the portions are very big so come very hungry. The vodka sauce was honestly amazing, especially combined with the Parmesan cheese. The gelato was exquisite.

Live music, so enjoyable!

Rosebud in Lemont is always an excellent experience, from beginning to end. It begins with organized, fast and free valet service. The lot is otherwise a bit tight and the valets have their system down. The check in is always personable with a smile. Highly recommend dinner reservations on weekends, but sometimes you can get lucky and sit in the bar without reservations. The staff and service is great there too. Food is outstanding. There are usually some specials worth checking out. Our go to starter is Caprese salad to share, but if the prosciutto burrata appetizer is available on special we'll do that. Chicken Milanese, Chicken Francesce and the short rib are all solid choices. Good wine list with options that won't break the bank. Server can help make a recommended if you need assistance. Desserts are usually shareable and again the seasonal specials stand out when available. Cake slices are good for 4-5 people! Cappuccino after dinner is excellent. Live music in the bar on some weekends and the patio is nice too.

We had a wonderful dinner at @rosebud_lemont an upscale Italian restaurant. They serve classic Italian dishes that are made in-house daily. The atmosphere is friendly and cordial.  It's almost like they are welcoming you into their home for a great Italian dinner. We sat in the grand-ballroom-style dining room. There is an adjacent "Sinatra Room", a large bar area and a lovely outdoor patio. There is complimentary valet parking, with self parking in the lot next door. We started off with a Stella Artois and Fly Me To The Moon Cocktail (Godiva Chocolate Liquer, Kailua, Amaretto Di Saronno float and a Caramel Chocolate swirl. My cocktail was absolutely delicious! For an appetizer we had the Spicy Calamari, it was fresh, and tasty with a slight kick to it. For our entrees we had the Short Rib special with Rigatoni (Nana's Gravy) and the 14 oz broiled Skirt Steak. The Shirt Rib special was delicious, but, the Skirt Steak was outstanding! Cooked to prefector, it was truly mouth watering. Portion sizes were huge. We had enough leftovers to enjoy at home another night. For dessert we shared an order of canoli. We were going to order one for each of us, however, Thank goodness our waiter told us there were 2 canolies per order, as they were huge and absolutely fantastic. They have live music from 7 to 10 pm on the weekends.  With different entertainers performing standards, jazz, rock, and pop to contemporary music and crowd favorites. It is definitely crowded here so be sure to make a reservation, and also it's very loud. That just shows you how comfortable most people feel here. Come here for dinner and stay for the entertainment on the weekends, and drinks at the bar We will definitely be going back here. I want to sit in the Sinatra room!  I want to sit out on the patio on a warm evening!

I'm on the left. My wife is not sitting next to me. She's one away on the left and the rest of the crew. We go out with tea once a month.

Tonight we went to this restaurant with six of our friends my wife and I shared a house salad and then shared a salmon special which came with an olive oil sauce, asparagus, and other veggies on the plate. Everything was terrific and our friends had lasagna. They had ravioli they had Eggplant Parmesan they all had various different dishes and everybody without exception loved their meal. My wife and I topped off the meal with some spumoni ice cream and I had coffee and this is again an easy five star.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

I just worked out and called to ask about the dress code. No dress code, I'll be right there! I walked in and was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and gave me time to decide without feeling rushed even as I changed my mind a couple times. I ordered the salmon and Mad Rose to drink. The drink has a lot going on and wasn't for me. It reminded me of a cinnamon orange tea, citrus and spicy. For dinner, I waffled on a couple fish dishes, but went with the salmon. It has a nice, crunchy glaze on it with some nice citrus flavors that weren't overbearing. I wasn't sure how the risotto would taste with the orange, but it worked. I was asked several times how I was doing and how my drinks and food were. Dining solo, I get ignored at times with subpar service. Not tonight access I appreciate that. I ordered from Entourage Downers Grove and was honestly impressed with how well everything held up for delivery. The standout for me was the lobster bisque. It arrived at the perfect temperature, which is pretty impressive for delivery. The bisque was rich and luscious without feeling overly heavy, and the basil oil added a nice brightness that balanced the creaminess beautifully. It also had a generous amount of lobster, including several large chunks, and was a very solid portion overall. The filet mignon sliders were another highlight. Each slider had a substantial piece of filet mignon topped with pickled onions, microgreens, and horseradish cream on brioche buns. The onions and horseradish added enough acidity and bite to balance the richness of the beef without overpowering it. I also tried the Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, and rice noodles, served with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Everything tasted very fresh, and the sauces complemented the generously stuffed rolls nicely. My only small critique is that cutting them in half made for a prettier presentation, but made them a little awkward to dip and eat. Overall, this was a surprisingly strong delivery experience, and I would absolutely order from them again, or better yet, make it over to the restaurant itself next time I'm in the area.

Attempts to reach corporate through their listed executive emails bounced back as undeliverable. On June 21 around 2pm, I experienced highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from on-site managers, Meghan & Javier. Upon arrival, I was referred to the bar area where a member of staff took my to-go order which consisted of an appetizer and two desserts (slices of cake ) from your menu. Five minutes after placing my order, the young lady returned and said she was informed that the restaurant, despite having it on the menu presented to me, no longer offers cake slices to go, but if I dined in, I would be able to order the cake. I asked to speak with the manager. "Meghan" approached and said that, despite the false advertising on the menu, we could not order the normal size cake to go but a smaller version was available. When asked to see the menu reflecting said portion and pricing, it was not available. I then asked if there was someone else who could help. After waiting 10 minutes, manager "Javier" approached, not introducing himself, and spoke with an aura of disrespect, simply stating that it isn't necessary for the restaurant to advertise the smaller cake slice or price, and the only way we would be able to order is if we were to dine-in. When I offered for myself and my daughter to dine in at the bar with the order we originally placed to go (baked goat cheese with extra crostini, chocolate cake and carrot cake), we were told that was insufficient and that a "full tab" would be needed. In all of my dining experience, I have never been treated with such contempt, especially from management. Instead of working to resolve a standard issue or offering some sort of solution , the manager simply walked away without any resolve. This behavior is completely out of line with standard hospitality practices. I have submitted a formal report through WeEat website intake form on June 30 and am waiting for a prompt response from a regional director or HR representative to resolve this matter. I hope that in the future you will address these issues and improve the service at Goat and Vine as treating patrons on this level should not be taken lightly.
