I am a local Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who has been going to Nancy's Salon for nearly two (2) years now. As you can imagine, in my profession, attention to detail is incredibly important, and I look for attentiveness and meticulousness in my hair stylists as well. I have tried all the other East Cobb area stylists and barbers with mixed feelings, whether about the cut, the cost, or the service. By contrast, EVERY stylist at Nancy's Salon is outstanding. I have been completely satisfied with each and every men's haircut I have received. All my interactions with the staff and the owner have been pleasant and positive. They have even accommodated me on very short notice, understanding my occupation and demanding work schedule. Their price for a basic wash and men's cut is very reasonable. Unlike other area barbers in town, they fortunately accept plastic and are not limited to 'cash only', which in today's digital age is a major hassle. The location is perfect for East Cobb, with a pleasant and comfortable waiting area. For East Cobbers of ALL genders, Nancy's Salon is hands-down THE place to go for a haircut. The stylists at Nancy's are excellent. They have all been in the hair business for many years. My highlights are always fabulous and she asks me if I want chunky highlights or more natural. All of the stylists are very easy to work with. I've gone there for years and my very particular Mother went there for years also. The salon needs remodeling but they are always busy and it's clean. There is one thing that I really don't like and that is they only blow dry if you pay extra. After a cut, root color and highlights you have to walk out with a wet head or pay, I believe, an added $15. That is something I am not accustomed to. If the customer only wants a blow dry for a special event then I understand charging for it. I highly recommend Nancy's Salon. My stylist is Hannah. Nilfour (spelling) is also excellent with color. Sandy does men's and children's cuts. And the owner is excellent with threading eyebrows and offers the more permanent eyebrow styles. The read more

Recently moved in this area, so looking for a new hair stylist that I can build long term relationship and trust with my hair. This salon have great reviews online, so I made appointment at 5:30pm and because of after work traffic, late for 10 minutes. I did give them a call tell them that I will be late before my appointment. First walked in the salon, does not look anywhere close to Luxury salon. Hairstylist asked me I want wash my hair or wet it down, I am pregnant so it's not comfortable to lay down any more. Also facility does not look really sanitary. I told her spray down my hair is fine. Haircut is fine. She does listen to your ask. BUT!!!! DID NOT DRY MY HAIR AFTERWARDS and told me it's done!! It was 6:06PM and all the staffs were in front waiting for me to pay so they can close the store....AND IT COSTS ME $54. I personally will not come back to this place for any other services. It's overpriced for the service. Worst customer service experience ever!! Please review other bad reviews, before you hand your hair to unprofessional people. UPDATE: owner left comment saying that I asked for haircut for 3 times, I came in for a haircut with a picture and told her this is what I wanted. I know Hair stylist did not achieved the look as she was cutting it, so I asked for areas that I didn't like to be improved. I was only 10minutes late and I called before my appointment time to let them know that I will be late, they could have asked for reschedule the appointment time. If they think there is not enough time for proper service. I always tip for 20% regardless of services because I respect service worker's time. I was not happy with the service when I left the store. Apparently, You will come here and have you hair cut and left with your hair wet is expected if you did not ask for blow dry! I do not like confrontation, so I did not say anything in person. Hannah was my stylist. I didn't expect to have my hair done that day as I only made an appointment for a consultation. Hannah said I needed to get rid of six inches. Its much shorter than I wanted but I had covid hair and needed a great cut and lowlights, a few highlights and a good ounce of TLC. Ill definitely go back. This review is for Dilshad, who does eyebrow threading at the salon. I've been going to her a little over 2 years off and on since moving to Georgia. She used to work at a salon in Sandy Springs, and has since moved to Nancy's; I live in Loganville, which is at least an hour away, and I refuse to go to anyone else! Dilshad is professional, attentive, and kind and her work is impeccable. She is the only person who has NOT destroyed my eyebrows lol. She takes pride in her work and is a perfectionist, she's actually grown my eyebrows to which they are a lot fuller now. The ladies that work there are also very pleasant. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone to properly groom their eyebrows( she does facials too)! read more

I have been going to Nilou for a few months. All I can say is Nilou has magic hands and a heart of gold. She gave me the best haircut and highlights above and beyond what I had in years and years. She knows what to do without elaborate explanation. Nilou is very generous with her time and gives me an appointment without much notice. This salon is near my house so I thought I would give it a try as I needed my color touched up. Hannah was available to see me the same day. Hannah was pleasant. The clientele seems to be on the middle aged to older side and there were men as well as women having their hair done. The hair color Hannah applied doesn't match with the hair color that I currently have. It is fairly loud inside and not very luxurious. I now need color correction. Super. I won't be back. read more

Just got a haircut from Hannah. She spent less than 10 minutes on my hair and did not take any time to understand how I wanted my haircut. She cut the crown much shorter than I requested and thinned my already thinning hair without even asking. She was in such a hurry to get back to a highlighting she had started and begin work on a group that had just walked into the salon that my hair was lopsided. I just left there and I am so upset - they charged me $50 for a 12 year old and 10 year old's hair cut. They cut 1 inch off of both of them. I complained and they did absolutely nothing - just said that it's the owner's new pricing. I am upset and disgusted.
