I've been seeing Nanda religiously now for 2 years and I'm proud to also now call her a friend of mine. Nanda branched out from Spa on Oak and started her own business but still rented a room from them. Now she has finally gotten away from that mess and is renting a room from O Sixty Five. She is still her own entity and is still running an amazing business, despite all of the challenges that can occur when you're running your company from someone else's space. This girl can do everything - facials, lashes, waxing, the works. Not only have I been seeing her over two years but now MULTIPLE of my girlfriends swear by Nanda's magical hands. She does an amazing job with lashes and I am constantly getting different facials from her - oxygenating, dermaplaning, exfoliating, whatever we're in the mood for that day. She is funny, sweet, and knows her boundaries. Some days all I want to do is chat while she extends my lashes and other times it's nice just to have some peace and quiet and Nanda can always tell what sort of day that is. Her space is friendly, warm, inviting, but also sterile and clean. It's so comfortable to be in a room like that with a person like her. She has become a good friend of mine but even if she wasn't, I would still tout her services to anyone who will listen. Ok. Let me clarify something here. I did not use Nanda's services. I want that to be CRYSTAL CLEAR. HOWEVER, my mom did as a gift from me so I feel like I'm able to write a pretty solid review. Thanks to the strong recommendations from Yelpers, I can't be happier about my lashes! Living in Gold Coast, one should probably get used to paying high prices for everything but not if you go to Nanda; you'll walk out feeling confident and not feeling guilty about it. Say goodbye to Ardell lashes that I constantly worry if the ends are detaching from the lids looking like two caterpillars crawling on my eyes and no more mascara that makes it looks like I only have 5 eyelashes all sticking together... ack! Many people get turn off by lash extension fearing it damages their natural eyelashes causing it to break off. I don't blame them since I've been there but only because the esthetician does a bad job attaching the extension, which becomes itchy and irritating so you rub your eyes a lot and ending having to pull the extension off. With Nanda's mad skill, they don't shed easy and your natural eyelashes continue to grow with the extensions on top of them. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed; you'll wake up looking refreshed as if you already applied makeup! I really wanted to like Nanda and have her become my 'eyelash gal'...but I didn't find her conscientious. I made an initial appointment which she canceled the day of. We rescheduled for the following weekend but she had the day wrong and Saturday morning asked if I could come in that day...a day prior to what we scheduled. I accommodated. While I appreciate that she reduced the price for the inconvenience, I had hoped this would be the last time she'd cancel/reschedule, but it wasn't. The first set of lashes were okay, but some didn't go close enough to the root and flopped all over. I mentioned this at the next appointment and she did them much better and I really liked them the second time. I scheduled another appointment for 2 weeks later and a few hours before that appointment she texted to cancel saying she was "home sick". It was the nicest day of the summer. I responded right away with alternate days/times to reschedule...and NEVER heard back from her. She may try to say she responded, but I don't have a text and wouldn't believe her anyway. If she wanted my business she would have followed up. I even tipped her very generously at the last appointment! Now I need to start over with someone new, paying the hefty amount for the first fill. It just doesn't work with my tight schedule to have someone cancel/need to reschedule that much. She did it 3 times...and I'd only been in to see her twice! read more

Had my lashes done by Nanda for the first time this week. I'm super impressed! At previous places, my eyelids would be itchy throughout the service (to the point of being uncomfortable) and I experienced none of that with her. She was very quick and she used the perfect lengths. Her book fills up very quickly, so I definitely suggest booking your appointment in advance -- I've already booked my appointments every three weeks into September! Prices are very reasonable, which is very hard to find in this area -- especially for someone who has Xtreme Lash training. You are cheating yourself if you don't go to her! read more

If I could describe Nanda and the service she provides in two words it would be CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT. Have been going to Nanda for the past 5 years, every 2 weeks to get my lashes done. I have never left her studio disappointed or unhappy...not even once in 5years. Nanda is beyond talented...so skillful, friendly,and kind. Got reconnected with Nanda in 2012 after getting a facial from her from Peace Spa back in 2010! Now she's the only facialist I am consistently happy with. The room she rents from Salon O Sixty Five (a hair salon) is cozy and full of Nanda's personal touches. She uses very natural products and truly customizes her facials. She doesn't just use whatever products based on what skin type I say I am. I usually try to go when the seasons change, and she uses different products according to how my skin is during that season! Two things that must be noted that differentiate Nanda: 1) She doesn't position the steamer so that the steam is going right up your nose, making it uncomfortable for you to breathe (trust me, many facialists do this without knowing!), and 2) Her blackhead extractions are nearly painless. Nanda has been doing my lashes for about a year and what a difference it makes! I am fair skinned and my lashes are short naturally so adding lash extensions makes me look awake even when I am exhausted! She is beyond precise in how she applies the lashes and depending on how much I work out/ warm weather I can get up 3+ weeks from them but always at least 2+ weeks.
