This is a not so hidden gem. The decor and table spacing are fabulous. The food is divine. There is a DIY coke machine and the hot sauces are plentiful. This is an interesting cross between an order at the counter fast casual kind of place and a sit down restaurant. You can order at the counter or via a QR code from your table. If you want to customize your meal, definitely order at the counter - they can do things the website can't. read more

The food is amazing!! We had the hummus with pita and the rainbow bowl- with chicken thighs and one with shredded chicken. Delicious. We loved the pickled vegetables on the bowl and the chicken was so flavorful. The place was nicely decorated and clean. My only complaint was that we were seated with no direction on how to order. Since it was our first time there, it would have been nice to have someone explain that they prefer you to order at the counter or by using the QR code. We sat waiting for a server before we figured out we needed to do it on our own. We did have lots of people check on us once we got our food. I'd come back for the food. read more

Nandos is consistently a stop for me and has been since I had them in 2019 in the UK. I was so excited to find them right around the corner from my hotel. The sauces are so yummy and I recommend you sign up for their app to get a free order of garlic bread. The people working were so friendly and made sure we were taken care of and all our needs were met. The Portuguese rice is always a must. The cauliflower was great too. Huge fan of nando's in general but this location was excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the space was well maintained and clean. The chicken wasn't overcooked and tough like some locations can be. I encourage nando's to strive for more sustainability, however. It would be great if they had a composting program so all the food waste they create doesn't contribute to methane emissions. And they could do away with plastic straws in favor of paper or agave. In addition, this location seems to offer soda bottles in favor of the in house glasses as a default and defaulting to the glasses would also cut down on plastic waste. There is a parking garage 1 block away. The neighborhood itself is relatively quiet and pleasant. read more

A great Nando's in harbor east. There's always a lot of employees and it feels like a higher ends restaurant vs a fast casual one. The food here is like any other Nando's. This is what you get when you go to a chain, but I will say what I love about this one location specifically as the fact that they have an array of sauces with containers. Their peri-peri- sauce is what they are known for after all. I remember when America didn't have Nando's so it's always a treat when I go and their half chicken is really good. I miss their coleslaw. The chicken is FIRE!!! I got a to-go order of 1/2 chicken with 2 sides. I tried to go the healthier route with some of the new upgraded side options they have added to their menu. I got Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes, but I wasn't impressed with either of them for the $2 up charge per side order. They have A LOT of sodium in their products so be mindful to look at nutrition facts if needed. I always get my chicken plain-ish and add the dipping sauces on the side, but they have a variety of flavors to choose from. They have obviously gotten more expensive over the years, but I was able to eat twice on a half chicken, so that helped. This visit, the girl at the register seemed like she didnt want to be at work that day, so she didnt take a name for my order (so I sat there waiting for an order that was never called) and I didn't get my toppings on the side as requested, but everyone else was extremely helpful. Very Unclean- servers sitting at tables- eatingth food, touching their phones, and then preparing baskets for your food to go in. I was blown away during my visit. The service was polite and professional as soon as I walked in the door. The server as well as the manager checked on my table many times. They made sure we understood the menu as well as how to order. You order at the front counter, which is different from many places but it was easy and gave us time to read the menus. The music was seemingly of African origin and I loved it. I was born in a multicultural city so it reminded me of home. The seating and atmosphere were also welcoming and comfortable. Many delicious sauces were also available for free and they were all delicious. The food itself was incredible. I quite literally cleaned my plate and so did my spouse. The mix of fresh peppers, greens, and humus paired perfectly with the rice and chicken in my Peri-Peri chicken bowl was some of the best food I have EVER eaten. I chose the "Hot" level of flavor for the sauce on my chicken and I loved it so much I had to buy a bottle before I left. The manager was especially welcoming given that it was our first time visiting the restaurant. He often made sure we were enjoying the food and we felt so welcome. read more

Nando's has some great chicken from my past experiences. This recent visit, I ordered the 1/4 chicken with 2 sides - fries and coleslaw and with the lemon herb sauce. Portion sizes were good. Unfortunately, my sauce was left off but I was able to grab some while I was there for my take out. The chicken was a bit more charred than what I would have liked but was still juicy. Fries were crispy and the coleslaw was just ok to me. The location is big and spacious. Staff are fine. Ok, I was kind of skeptical about this place. I got a recommendation from a friend who told me it was a must try, but it was a chain that didn't look that spectacular. I was wrong. It's basically a "chicken restaurant," but like man, their chicken is so good! They grill it to perfection, with this absolutely amazing sauce. You can have something a bit more indulgent, with fries and carbs, or you can go for a lighter fare. Service was really great. Okay so they say you only can get Nandos in certain states and well Maryland is one of them. This location in harbor east is one of my favorites as the staff is an amazing and super attentive. For lunch we grabbed the rainbow bowl and it was really good. We both had leftovers after. The hot and lemon and herb are very flavorful too. It's very easy to order when you visit this location. Nando's chicken blew me away. I recently stopped in for dinner and am so delighted that I did. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides: Brussels Sprouts and Sweet Potatoes. The chicken wad juicy, tender and seasoned to perfect. The flavor was outstanding. I really enjoyed the Nandos Garlic Peri Peri sauce, too! The brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection and came with a sauce that balanced it perfectly. I believe the sweet potatoes were a seasonal side, however, I am advocating for them to be available all year long. These sweet potatoes were tender, flavorful and were topped with pumpkin seeds that gave the dish a perfect texture. I went pretty late in the evening and the restaurant staff were friendly, the establishment was clean and the ambiance was great. I've been to Nando's in the UK but there's only a few in the US. Visiting Baltimore I knew I had to go. There was a bit of a wait to order but the customer service here is insanely good. Multiple people checking on me after getting my food to see how things are. Some may seem that too much but it was never the same person. I came here in a rush on a Monday evening and the service and food was beyond excellent! I've been to Nando's several times over the last few years and I've always been pleased with the food and service. I highly recommend them. I came to the inner harbor location so parking is limited, but you can pay for parking nearby or find street parking if you have time to look. It's also near the orange circulator stops and the subway-- the shot tower stop is like a 10 min walk away. I got the 1/4 chicken leg with mango lime flavoring combo with 1 side of peri chips (fries) and both tasted sooo good. I wish I got a bigger portion of chicken and fries coz when it was gone, I wanted more! All of that was only $11.44 and they make it fresh. I was in a hurry so the cashier was super helpful and sweet. Overall, if you're ever near a Nando's, def pick some up!! You can't go wrong with their chicken and they do salads too. read more
