Jalapeño turkey crunch and potato salad

Stopped in after leaving the gym and returning an item at Marshall's. Been meaning to come in and grab a sandwich, and glad I did. Got the jalapeño turkey crunch and you have a choice of sides( chips, steamed broccoli, tomato and cucumber salad, potato salad). They were out of the cucumber and tomato salad, I opted for the potato salad. That Turkey sandwich was really good. The sliced Turkey was nice and fresh, with the avocado and jalapeños chips. I couldn't finish it all, took the rest home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is nice and clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can Carryout or dine in. The staff was very polite and professional. Definitely will be my go to for a nice deli sandwich.

I agree with the mixed reviews here. A lot of potential but def needs some improvement is a reoccurring theme here. I came here for the first time on a Monday evening with a T-Mobile redemption I wanted to use. I got the Choose 2 and picked a half a sandwich and half a Spud. I customized both which was a nice feature. The potato was delicious, but that's pretty hard to mess up. They actually gave me a whole potato instead of half which was awesome! That kind of made up for the super small sandwich which didn't feel like half, more like a quarter. It was the McAllister club sandwich which was delicious but I only really got 2 or 3 bites since it was so small. I customized the potato to just get butter, cheese, salt & sour cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The deli is super clean, bathrooms were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The meal would have been $11.69 without my redemption, the cookie was $2.32. Reasonably priced, reminds me of a mix between Panera & Subway. Parking can be tricky, there is street parking you can pay for or garage parking you can pay for. Not a lot of people were there at all but customer service was a bit slow. The cashier was really young and new so it took her a bit to get my order before the manager had to step in to finish the order. Personally I would recommend having someone new shadow until they get the hang of it, but she did alright. I got the chocolate chip cookie and a drink as well. The cookie was good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the decor but it felt a bit chaotic and disorganized, esp with a new person as the only cashier.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The size of the sandwich was disappointing. Overall, I would come back and maybe order ahead.

If nothing else, come for the jams. This place checks a lot of boxes for those of us that work downtown. Aka soup. So unless you hate soup and/or don't work downtown, what is there even to complain about? Seriously. Staff is

Maryland finally has a McAlister's! Added bonus it's within walking distance of my work. Happy dance! There's a McAlister's near my mom in Knoxville, TN. So I am very familiar with the restaurant. The location here in Baltimore is new. Employees are so sweet. The menu is comparable to an upscale Panera. I much prefer McAlister's. By far! I love the choose two options. Salads, soups, sandwiches and spuds, aka baked potatoes. The spuds are always cooked perfectly. So many toppings options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean, bright with some Baltimore touches.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're downtown, give them a try.

Oh my goodness, I'm absolutely thrilled that McAlister's Deli has come to the Inner Harbor of Baltimore City! I can already see myself spending countless fall and winter days there or picking up dinner to go. As a Southerner, I have a special love for McAlister's menu, and I'm so excited to have it close by. The concept is a perfect fit for the Inner Harbor! I have so many favorite items on their menu, from the delicious Potato Spud Max to the McAlister's Club, and of course, the Nachos with Chili are to die for. The service was outstanding when I visited, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I'm looking forward to many more visits!

Food is good. Staff is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the facility is clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's new to the harbor. The Spuds are good, the potato salad wasn't the best...too much creamy mayo, mac and cheese was watery but had ok flavor. All the sandwiches were good.

I loved the selection of pastries they offered--the pandan pastry was definitely my favorite. My husband ordered the drip coffee over ice, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both coffees were excellent. The Vietnamese coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it was served in a very small glass. I think it would have been even better with a little more coffee to balance the sweetness. For lunch, we ordered the kimbap and the egg bowl, and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside was that it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the cafe was extremely busy and clearly backed up, so we didn't mind the wait too much--especially since the food was so delicious. The indoor space is quite small, but they do offer outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Asian-inspired pastries and dishes. What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

The play on sweet and savory is just so comforting. I also had the apple cinnamon butter muffin and the muffin top was insanely delicious. The crumble on top of the apple butter was gluttony. I beleive they rotate their muffins regularly which I appreciate. I've had their raspberry matcha in the summer which I remember tasted so fresh on a hot day. And I recently had their 5 spice latte which was a great balance of spice and sweet. Overall, I honestly would consider moving to the area just to live next to this cafe not being dramatic at all.

They can, in fact,…read morebe very different; something about the way they fry the chicken breasts produces a crunchiness I was genuinely marveling at with every bite. I know that sounds dramatic but it's true! I was shocked! The fries were a nice accompaniment that matched the chicken in quality + I love the addition of a pickle. I ordered the house BRD sauce and honey mustard and both were perfect in my eyes! The only downside was the wait, but I see it more as a testament to how good it is-- it was worth the wait for me, and it seems like many others would agree! It did take a bit longer than I expected, but when I got my food, it was evident that it was cooked fresh to order. I got my tenders plain because I don't love spicy food, and it was delicious. I also got fries, a side of BRD sauce, ranch sauce, and a slice of seasoned bread. Everything was tasty, fresh, and well seasoned. For $15 it was a solid amount of food and the tenders are HUGE. I couldn't even finish the meal. I would definitely check out this spot again for fresh fried chicken.

[Disclaimer: this is a comprehensive review so buckle in and let's go!]…read more I used to frequent Hopkins Market (HM) when it was a tiny cafe that had good food. Always friendly staff. Good space. I was sad to see that they left. The replacement, however, has truly impressed me. The new & improved current location has nearly 'quadrupled' in size with its redesign/ buildout. The location is well lit and has morphed from a small neighborhood cafe into a full service vendor. Aside from a menu offering an impressive myriad of options, HM is also a massive grocer/ wine & cafe. They offer wine tastings and a very clean space. I believe they openEd in 2025. On to the stats: STAFF: Everyone is friendly & helpful. SUNDRIES: An expansive selection of liquor, beer & wine; snacks; candy; soda; coffee; household goods; grocer goods; Knick knacks. LIQUOR PURCHASES: A GREAT perk is liquor can be purchased until close (11 or 12). CAFE FEEDBACK [This is an amalgamation of dishes based on numerous visits. Didn't want to come across like a serious 'BIG BACK' LOL - On To The Vittles: 1. Chicken salad sub (recommended). Freshly made. Simple recipe [Mayo, S&P, celery, a few spices] (which I really enjoy, when done well) and sizable portions. SCORE! 2. French fries (recommended). Toasty/ crispy of the outside, fluffy inside w/ very good flavor. SCORE! 3. Yellow cake w/ choc icing. A tasty sheet cake / good grocery store offering. Moist cake, thick flavorful icing. DELISH! SCORE! 4. Dolmas - Stuffed Grape Leaves. I absolutely love these. Unsure if they're made in house or brought in but they're tasty. Not always in stock but when they are - SCORE! 5. Guava nectar - Absolutely delicious! Give me more. 6. Pear Nectar - Absolutely delicious! Give me more. 7. Pastrami sandwich - DEEEELISHIOUS. Tastes like it came straight from a NY deli counter. I added Swiss & deli mustard (heated). Perfect recipe. Don't overdo it. TRIPLE WORD SCORE!! 8. Western Fries - Crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. Seasoned well. SCORE!! 9. Onion Rings - I wished they were beer battered instead of being super crunchy. They also lacked ANY flavor. Breading wasn't seasoned at all. A little salt in the batter or at the end would've made a world of difference. CRIME! 10. Marble Chocolate Cake: Delicious chocolate frosting. Cake was drier than I like. I enjoy a moist cake. That wasn't one. I do think, however, that the deserts are shipped in - so I can't hold it against them (TIP: Change your baker) 11. Egg & Cheese Sandwich: on toasted Rye w/ mayo, mustard, S&P. THIS is my 'GO TO'. When I don't want meat but I'm hungry, this always satiates me. I'm a big fan of this addition to the area.
