I came here in a rush on a Monday evening and the service and food was beyond excellent! I've been to Nando's several times over the last few years and I've always been pleased with the food and service. I highly recommend them. I came to the inner harbor location so parking is limited, but you can pay for parking nearby or find street parking if you have time to look. It's also near the orange circulator stops and the subway-- the shot tower stop is like a 10 min walk away. I got the 1/4 chicken leg with mango lime flavoring combo with 1 side of peri chips (fries) and both tasted sooo good. I wish I got a bigger portion of chicken and fries coz when it was gone, I wanted more! All of that was only $11.44 and they make it fresh. I was in a hurry so the cashier was super helpful and sweet. Overall, if you're ever near a Nando's, def pick some up!! You can't go wrong with their chicken and they do salads too. read more

If you have a Nando's near you and haven't gone, GO right now! My friend and I stopped at Nando's in Inner Harbor, MD as the last stop because we headed back home to Philly. We had talked about it all weekend and I was excited. They did not let me down. I got the thigh and mighty chicken sandwich with tomatoes, arugula and the hot peri peri sauce - with options to select 1 side or 2. I got the peri fries to go with the sandwich. When I tell you I INHALED that sandwich, it was so good, flavorful and juicy. The hot peri sauce wasn't as hot as I was anticipating it to be but it was perfect. I also got the the half chicken and spicy Portuguese rice to go because sadly there isn't a Nando's in Philly. I will be enjoying that as soon as I finish writing this review. Stopped for a quick dinner after driving down to Bal'more for work. I love love love Nando's Peri-Peri hot sauces (I usually have 3-4 bottles in the fridge) and love any opportunity I get to eat at a Nando's in person. I opted for the Marinated Tomato, Halloumi & Chicken Salad. $14.29 for: Romaine and arugula in a balsamic vinaigrette. Topped with PERi chicken, marinated grape tomatoes, grilled halloumi cheese, grilled corn and house-made croutons. It was excellent. I added more hot sauce (of course) and the halloumi cheese gives a nice contrast to the spicy chicken and the acidic tomatoes. Just enough for a hearty dinner without feeling overly stuffed. While I liked the salad, I did miss getting an entrée of chicken because there are several sides I really really like. That said, the salad was really good, too. The next time I go to a Nando's it will be hard to choose. It was a very early dinner so the place was almost empty. The food arrived quickly. The ability to refill my own drink was nice. The service was excellent (I thought it would just be order at the counter and sit down). They took our orders at the table. I'm British living in America, so I was excited to be in part of the country that has Nandos! You order all on your phone, I wasn't able to use my U.K. loyalty programme, I had a free 1/4 chicken waiting for me! They have a coke freestyle machine - which I always love, mello yello for the win!! I usually go for a double chicken wrap but wasn't too hungry so just went for a chicken breast. My husband had the wrap wasn't the same as the U.K., my chicken tasted better than his. My breast was very juicy and tender - definitely recommend. Upon that, they had three different waiters come to us to tell us our food would be there soon and then served others and made us wait hours longer. I went before heading out of town. My last meal in Maryland. Actually had planned for someplace else but decided on this location. Parking is a challenge just due to street traffic. Nice size restaurant. Lots of employees present. Sat down because it said swat yourself only to realize that you had to order then they bring the food to you. I ordered the quarter white, breast with rice. Just got a water to drink. It didn't take too long for food due there not being tons of people there. The chicken was good and flavorful. I got the medium sauce and I really liked that. I started in my rice but a small fly decided he wanted to try it also and buried himself in the rice. Had to toss it as a result and cant really share my thoughts but from what I tried it was tasty. I would try this spot again. Now that I know more about it and it's menu. The service was okay. The interior design is beautiful, colorful and really set a nice funky vibe like an upscale restaurant rather than a sort of "fast-food" establishment. The paper menus at the front entrance were also discreetly artistic, I thought it was coloring for the kids! I wasn't sure what exactly to get but the price of the chicken meals are $$ somewhat pricier than expected, so I settled on 3 boneless chicken thighs with Mango Lime sauce (Medium spice level) + 2 sides (yellow rice + coleslaw) which was almost $16 including tax. Quick order at the front by a staff person and they brought out the dish to our table in less than 10 minutes. I was told to grab my own utensils at the counter beside the "open kitchen" and helped myself to the spread of Peri-Peri (hot sauces) too! It was fun trying the different sauces which are self-serve and each had a tangy zing to them, almost like a vinegar or lemony twang. I was too scared to try the actual hot ones since I can't take the heat. Overall I was a little let down when I saw the plate come out since the chicken thighs were actually very small in size but tender and perfectly cooked. I had to wait until I made it home and got settled before writing this review. I will preface this by saying that Nando's is one of my favorite restaurants. It is the only chain that I will visit in different cities/countries because it's always that good. Imagine my disappointment when I convinced my family to eat at Nando's during our Baltimore meet up and ended having the WORST restaurant experience EVER. I'm talking ever in my history of eating out anywhere. It was minutes 10pm so we were initially happy to find somewhere casual to get a quick meal. When we ordered to dine in, the cashier snarked that they were closing soon (they close at 11pm). After hearing a few remarks about it being late, we decided to switch to takeout to alleviate their concerns. At this point, loud, irritated remarks started coming from the people preparing the food. I could hear them from my seat, so I got up to find out if there was a problem and the rude comments continued. We got our food at 10:14pm & my mother asked if she could get some salad dressing. A lady in the bag yelled at her that they ran out of dressing hours ago. When we tried to get some to-go sauces, there were no covers for the containers and they refused to get us any. Again, the attitudes were shocking. When we got back to our hotel (3 blocks away), all of our food was either cold or runny or stale (see photo). I already love Nando's so I won't hold this experience against them but this location needs to be retrained IMMEDIATELY. I am beyond disgusted with what went on and hope to prevent anyone else from exposing their family to such a negative environment from an otherwise wonderful brand. read more

I recently found out that one of my high school classmates works within a couple blocks of me. He said he eats at Nando's at least once a week. I've walked by numerous times but never thought to try it out. He suggested we meet for lunch since I'd never been. I was greatly impressed with the customer service. Everyone was extremely friendly! Maybe due to him coming so often but our server was excellent! We both had the Heirloom tomato halloumi chicken salad. His suggestion. So delicious! I had mine added with 1/2 avocado and drizzled with peri-peri sauce. The sauce is SPICY! But very good. I like spice but if you're not a fan of spice, you might want to skip this addition. I have tried Nandos before in Canada and I liked the food. I visited the Baltimore location and was very disappointed. I ordered a Chicken breast Bowl with rice and hummus. This was the smallest piece of meat I had ever been served at any restaurant in 50 years. I should have taken a picture. It was maybe 2 inches x 3 inches. This was a chicken bowl not a rice bowl. I had to order wings to supplement my meal after the chef said that is a half of chicken breast. I would suggest serving a larger piece of meat and charge more if that is the issue. I hate being nickel and dimed and being chinsy. Well that is a great way to lose customers. In addition the air conditioning was broken making it a bad memory. I got rid of the app that you had to use to order. It is pretty much self service and they expect a tip. Not my cup of tea. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Another great place to grab lunch if you work in Fells Point or Harbor East. I am a little biased when it comes to Nando's because I grew up eating this... BUT I guarantee you that food here is good! What I love about this place is that you get to choose the level of heat in your chicken. It ranges from "Plain...ish" to "Xtra Hot". I like to feel the burn in my throat and want my soul to burn so I ask them to drown my chicken in their "Xtra Hot" sauce. As Nando's describes it on their menu, "Xtra Hot" is "Like tackling a ferociously fiery dragon". That's right, I want to feel like I am Daenerys Targaryen of GoT when I eat at Nando's. Their chicken has this char taste from the grill and the grill crisps up the skin really nicely. All the browning from the charcoal grill makes the chicken rich and flavorful. Also, their chicken is marinated for at least 24 hours and I think that is the secret to why their chicken is always so juicy! I normally get the 1/4 Chicken - Leg with 1 side ($8.79) in "Xtra Hot" sauce. They have a wide variety of sides including Portuguese Rice (orange because it has turmeric), Garlic bread, Coleslaw, Macho Peas, PERi Chips (aka Fries), etc. I have tried most of the sides and they all have been good but my favorite is the PERi Chips. I mean who can say no to Fries? If you say that you can say no to Fries... it's good that I don't know who you are because we can't be friends. For the PERi Chips/Fries, they will ask if you want PERinaise (basically their mayo sauce) for additional $1.00. I don't think it's necessary to buy this because Nando's provides all their sauces on the side counter and I think dipping your fries in their housemade sauces is a lot more tasty than in mayo. Service is great too. Super friendly and if I dine in, they always ask me if I am doing good or if everything tastes ok - attentive. My one complaint will be that from all the times I've been here, I had a few occasions where my food was not cooked properly. Sometimes, my chicken tastes freaking amazing, sometimes it's too salty, sometimes my fries don't have any seasoning, etc. Despite that, I am happy with this place because it is a chain restaurant so I am not expecting a Michelin star restaurant quality... Tip: If you are going to dine in, go before the lunch rush hour (they open everyday at 11 AM). Such a cute interior design. It's not too flashy but also not too plain. This was my first time dinning there and I had to try all the sauce options they had. So we got some of each one they had available. It was a self serve sauce counter (I'm not sure if they still have it post covid). We both got half a chicken (wing and thigh). The chicken itself was so flavorful, you didn't really need the sauce. We got a salad and fries with our chicken just to try different things. Salad was nice and light. First time trying nandos. I got some kind of peri chicken wrap, I'm not sure if it's new or limited time, it said it was being featured. It had a really good flavor as I'd expect from them but the wrap itself was fairly big and very dry. I'm not sure if it was the wrap itself or if it was stale. The sauce they added kept things moist but it could have had more filling for the size of the wrap. I was a bit surprised how small it looked yet had several bites with nothing but dried out wrap. Garlic bread was above average and pretty good. Fries were soggy and meh. I ordered a side of Mac n cheese too which wasn't in my bag (not sure why it was handed over to me when the receipt didn't have it checked off that it had been placed in the bag. When I called to try and refund it they did so a bit reluctantly. Probably because it's more of a pain to actually go through that process but they eventually just refunded my whole order and offered me plenty to try and get me to come back. It's not that it wasn't good. I'd probably go back and try something else next time. But it wasn't good enough to make it a must next time I'm in town. read more

Very nasty customer service. It was almost as if they didn't want to serve me my food that I managed to spend 60 dollars on. Their food is over priced , the servers are extremely slow bringing out the food. I filed a complaint to the manager "Shelly" I guess her name was and she was very passive aggressive with me, denied my refund when I asked for one because the inside of my chicken wasn't even done, she said "we can put it back on the stove" like why would I want this same chicken?
