    Man Chow Soup
    Heidi A.

Staying at the Hilton so tried Nanking as it's right in the lobby. Pickup order; I tried the Man Chow soup (cabbage, carrot, maybe onion and cilantro) and the steamed chicken dumplings. The soup was fire; just stunning, Super hot temperature and great flavor!!! Dumplings were great in flavor but cold. Not sure if that's normal or what? I did not eat in house but ambiance looked awesome and there was a cute bar in there. When I called and picked up the order, the servers were attentive. If I stay another night, I will order the soup for sure. CD's.. I'll pass on them only because they are cold. I like my food really hot.

Food was great. Tons of unique options. Only negative is that the service was super slow. Took almost 2.5 hours to get through dinner, and that is without appetizers or dessert.

Palak paneer, tandoori shrimp, tandoori chicken, Cauluflower Manchurian, chicken tikka masala, Garlic Naan

There is a free parking lot in front as the restaurant shares the lot with other stores in a strip mall. I really liked how most of the menu has pictures of the items so you know what you're ordering. We both ordered from the Lunch Special (Mon-Fri 11:30AM-3PM: $15 for an appetizer, protein and main course). I ordered the Spring Rolls (2 pieces) and Pad See Ew with Shrimp (came with 4 pieces of shrimp). Everything was delicious, flavorful and freshly made. I also ordered the Thai Iced Tea which came in this cute ball shaped glass and was delicious. Our server was very nice and patient with us. The decor inside the restaurant was very cute and there was plenty of natural light coming in. There was limited seating inside as it's not very big but there was also some seating outside. My friend was also very happy with her food, especially her Tom Yum soup. I would definitely return to try other menu items!

Seating is usually…read morelimited, but if you do get a spot it feels light and airy and like you're in a tropical oasis. They have lots of cocktails at affordable prices and a variety of dishes. All of their curries are fantastic and come with a small bowl of rice. My favorite appetizer is their "money bags." I recently tried their pineapple fried rice and it was perfect. Wish it had a few more pineapple chunks as my bestie and I shared the bowl. The servers are excellent especially if you have any allergies. I can't eat shellfish and they'll thoroughly check before placing your order. Their Thai iced tea is really tasty and comes in cute cups. They're easy to "down," so pace yourself in order to enjoy it with your meal. They have a small bar area that fills up fast when tables are occupied. And there is a bathroom tucked in the corner that feels like you're on a train when inside of it. It feels like it's rumbling because of the fan. Perfect for an escape on the beaten path! Happy eats!

Bravo! Bravo! Absolutely outstanding Thai food at great prices and a great location close to me…read more Everything on go. I ordered the chicken pad see ew, beef red curry, chicken satay, and basil chicken. Tried to hit every meat group. Next time gotta try the fish The Chicken Pad See Ew was a standout. Wide rice noodles with that perfect chewy texture and beautiful wok hei char. The savory-sweet soy-based sauce coated everything perfectly, and the mix of tender chicken and juicy pieces made it incredibly satisfying. The Beef Red Curry was rich and aromatic with a luscious coconut milk base. The red curry paste had great depth. There was layers of lemongrass, galangal, and spices. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and Thai basil were fresh and plentiful. I loved how it had a nice kick that built up without overpowering the dish. The Chicken Satay came out perfectly grilled with beautiful char marks. The chicken was juicy and marinated well, and the peanut sauce on the side was creamy, nutty, and addictive. Finally, the Basil Chicken delivered that classic Thai street-food flavor. Plenty of fragrant holy basil, lots of garlic, and just the right amount of chili heat. The chicken was tender with great texture, and it paired amazingly with jasmine rice. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were very generous too -- we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. As my son would say "10 out of 10!" but since we are on yelp, we'll have to settle with a 5. Give this place a try.

Portions were also an issue. The chicken came in a tiny container, AND was less than half-filled. The shrimp in the Panang Curry were a bright spot (perfectly cooked!), but the curry itself lacked the typical creamy consistency. Hopefully they take this as constructive feedback.

Absolutely would be back here!…read more I was in the area for work and was craving sushi. This place popped up and I am so glad it did! I went for a quick stop after work and wanted something quick- (I chose to dine in). I can tell you the service was quick! The server was attentive and took my order. I was in and out within the hour. They have seating available inside as well as outside. It has a lot of seating and it looks pretty clean in inside. They also have happy hour specials. The food was great. I ordered: Appetizers: -Clear Soup: delicious! Possibly the best and most unique clear soup I have had yet. Not your typical flavor profile. This one tastes like it was made from scratch- the broth is unique- it has a sweet aftertaste to it. The soup also has spinach in it and mushroom. Very unique and tasty overall! -Calamari steak: I'll admit I was in the craziest mood for calamari- this was one of the reasons I stopped by here. I'm a big fan of Ika Maruyaki (bbq squid) and noticed this place did not have that but this instead- I saw good reviews on it so checked it out- I will say while the calamari was cooked perfectly, the flavors weren't clicking for me. It is greasy, and the seasoning on it has an abundant mustard flavor. It became more and more overwhelming as I dove into it more, and by the end (which it was an effort to make it to that point, I'll admit) I was itching to pat the seasoning off of the calamari to make it somewhat more pleasant to eat. Would not order this again. Sushi: -Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll: solid sushi roll- rice is soft, the ratios were perfect, and the mango sauce it was topped with was also pleasant for me! -Dinosaur Roll: my friend ordered this and I had a bite of it, very good!! Loved the overall ratio from the shrimp tempura to the eel to the eel sauce. Overall a solid experience. Very fresh food and quick service- for those who work in the nearby business park.

The restaurant was very nice inside- I really wished the food lived up to the service and the ambience. The menu is extensive and will suit just about any eater but the lack of freshness was visible. The oysters for a Sunday night prime dining day were not great, nor was the tuna on the sushi roll. On the positive side, the beer was cold and fresh, and the saki was served hot. Pad Thai was good but not great. I'm glad we liked our meal partners or it would have been even less stellar. With so many great restaurants in the Huntington area, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. If it weren't for the good service and comfortable seating, our meal would have suffered more.

I couldn't get a refund because the restaurant had already accepted my order -- and since I was the one who cancelled, Uber Eats treated it as a voluntary cancellation. No refund. 3.5 Stars for their lunch specials!…read more This was our first visit, and we only ordered a salad and two lunch specials. I would definitely come back to try other items from their regular menu. I found the entrees in the lunch special a little skimpy. These are the dishes we shared: -- Papaya Salad ($12): this is from their regular menu, and I thought it was excellent! Well balanced and so tasty! -- Drunken Noodles w.Beef (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Soup, which was a Tom Yum Soup. The Soup was very spicy but the Drunken Noodles were very mild; almost bland. It definitely needed more flavors and wok hei, but still ok. -- Massaman Curry w.Shrimp (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Salad, which came with a Peanut sauce. The Salad was actually pretty good; the peanut sauce was slightly sweet. The Massaman Curry w.Shrimp was very weak in flavor and only came with 3 little shrimps. I would suggest you order a different protein and skip the shrimp. Customer service was good; albeit there was nobody to greet us when we first arrived, so we just seated ourselves. But service got better. They didn't rush us to order and let us linger after we finished eating. But after a while, we were asked to leave since they close the restaurant in between the lunch and dinner service (between 3:30-4:30pm). Sorry, we were not aware of this! All in all, a decent first experience. Next time, I'd skip the lunch specials and just order off their regular menu.
