An authentic Mexican food, regular tamales & the beef birria taco are sooo delicious. Vegan & gluten free tamales are awesome. Diego & Elo are so friendly, efficient and trustworthy on suggesting what food do they have on the menu vs online.

Came here with some friends and it was such a great experience! I got carne asada tacos and my friends got shrimp tacos and the vegan impossible meat tamales. Their asada is cooked and seasoned well. Service was also super friendly! While we were eating, the person who took our order (presumably the owner) asked if we wanted a strawberry tamal on the house. The tamal was also already cut so that we had a piece for everyone! We really enjoyed it and it wasn't too sweet! I'm looking forward to trying their other tamales next time. Definitely coming back here again to try other things on the menu!

Dropped by this afternoon to grab a bite to eat from one of the other vendors but they didn't open till 2pm which felt so late! But that gave me the opportunity to try this spot out. I immediately went for the breakfast sausage burrito. I love a good breakfast burrito! The lady who took my order was super sweet as well. The sign said closed when I walked over but they were standing there so I asked anyway and she said they were open and changed the sign immediately. I got my burrito with a side of tater tots since I haven't had those in a hot minute and I asked about the salsa which I wanted on the side and she happily mentioned that they have two kinds on the side which was great! Food was ready in 10 minutes like she said and I was waiting over by the exit where they had some bar type seating. One of the cooks walked over and handed me my order, so nice! Took it home to enjoy and boy was it great! I wasn't starving so I ended up only eating half then. It was great that they sliced it in half which I LOVE. That way it's prepared and ready to eat and you're not stuck with the end piece full of just tortilla. Sure I could do it myself which I usually do but it's convenient that they already do it for you. The salsas were delicious! Not spicy at all but very flavorful. The burrito felt a bit lacking as far as flavor goes but it was still good. It definitely needed the salsa imo. Great spot and can't wait to try their other food! IG: @ammysalamii

    Asada and pastor tacos

Wow, what a fantastic place!! First to mention, I placed a very large order for several dozen tamales and tacos with salsas for a small event. The service was Incredible - they had it ready right on time, helped put it in my car, provided tons of plates and silverware, and had everything wrapped so well. They even gave me a crate to carry it all. The tamales stayed really hot too from pickup through the event. They went above and beyond. Second, the food itself was so good! The tamales were so moist and tasted delicious, and the tacos were a hit. The salsas were very good. Super impressed by everything and looking forward to coming back.

This place is super cute and has great fast service! Elno (owner) was there and she whipped up a breakfast burrito for me with everything on it! I got it with chorizo and a side of fruit and Carmel frappe! She owns the shop with her husband. Everything was top notch and amazing ambiance atmosphere. I highly recommend coming here!

I've been here twice and have loved the experience both times. The owner, who is also the chef, is super attentive and accommodating. As first timers, we had questions and she was thorough in explaining some of the dishes we weren't familiar with. The dishes we've ordered have been amazingly delicious as well, we've gotten the quesabirria tacos that come with consomé on the side, the mole oaxaqueño plate which is a bit sweet with a kick of spicy and comes with a side of rice, and the pollo en salsa verde tamal as well as a mole tamal. It hasn't been my luck to try their strawberry tamal as each time I've come, they don't have it, but that's next on my list. Their pepino and menta agua fresca is also so tasty and refreshing.

    Mango pina fresca

If you want a good drink you need to go here! I ended up getting another drink for later. The mango and pineapple Fresca is amazing customer service was so sweet. I got two tamales. Both chicken and green salsa, there a big and moist.

These tamales are to die for! Family owned restaurants are always the best and this one did not disappoint! DELICIOUS!

If you come during peak breakfast hours, I would definitely expect a wait. I ordered the wheat pancakes with fruit and granola. I also ordered their basic breakfast, which includes three eggs, and I opted for fruit (although you can get home fries, hash browns, and other sides as well). The pancakes were warm and fluffy, and the fresh berries went really well with them. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were great, and the meal came out hot and nicely prepared. The eggs were prepped over medium, as requested. The eggs plus the fruit made for a quick and healthy breakfast, complemented perfectly by the pancakes. Overall, this was a great breakfast experience. Good food, great portions, welcoming service, and a comfortable neighborhood atmosphere. Parking and seating can be a little challenging because of the restaurant's size and popularity, but the food makes it well worth the visit. I'll definitely be back to try some of their Mexican breakfast dishes, especially the chilaquiles.

Let's start this review with the parking situation. What's up with not having parking at a lot of…read morerestaurants? We pay an arm and a leg and they can't even provide parking? My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..

I received medium rare and I was in heaven. Never had Chilaquilles before. I was surprised it was crispy corn tortillas with cilantro, queso fresca and crema. I ordered half/half of the red and green salsa. Explosive. Fresh. Addictive. The accompaniment with my steak made a great breakfast. I shared a perfect pancake and sausage. I ate that last. There was no shame in eating all this food. It was so, so good. Surprisingly, my stomach didn't feel uncomfortably full. I think it had to do with the fresh ingredients. My first visit, (Thurs, 9/3), I ordered the Chilango Omelette. The tomatoes, guacamole, cheeses, exploded in my mouth. Again I ate everything. I couldn't stop. See that little plate of fruit? The sweetest palate cleanser ever. Get the Mexican coffee. Who knew? No one told me about this. There's cinnamon in this coffee. And it's always hot. I had three cups. This is my new coffee. I've driven past this restaurant on Sherman Way of Fulton for years. Hungry Fox is a great restaurant for families, friends, a date for two or one. Even to cure your hangover. There is a wait on the weekends, but it's not uncomfortable. They close at 2pm, so get there early. Sit in Annie's section. She's amazing. Annie made me feel as if I was a regular. Even my second visit, she recognized me and greeted me as if she knew me. She also has a great haircut. Let's not forget the fish who is oblivious to all the excitement around him. I watch him and wonder why he is so fixated with the right side of the tank. I think he was looking at the Mac 'n Cheese Balls at the nearest table. I'll order this at my next visit. A must visit. Youll leave happy. I did.

The decor is exactly what you'd expect (and exactly what you want) from a neighborhood coffee shop: formica tables, padded chairs and booths, aging photos on the walls, and lively music playing on the radio. It was bustling at lunchtime on a Thursday, but not crazy busy (as on many weekend mornings), so I was seated immediately. The menu boasts a fairly large selection of options, from the usual breakfast items to sandwiches and burgers, daily specials, and those aforementioned muffins (which you can get instead of toast with your breakfast if you like). Today, I opted for their Spicy Louisiana Hot Link with eggs, grits and toast. It was a very generous portion of food for $16.95, and I appreciate how they've manage to keep their prices reasonable. The eggs were a proper over-medium, and the grits were both hot and creamy. The side of butter melted easily into the porridge, which, when salted and peppered, made for a satisfying and savory bite. The sausage was split and grilled, showing off a nice char; they were spicy, as advertised, but not overly powerful, and they paired very well with the warm, creamy egg yolk. Rye toast was full of caraway flavor, and really shone when topped with butter and a generous slather of Nat's house-made Apricot Jam (packed with fruit flavor without being too sweet). Yes, Nat's remains a solid, satisfying spot for breakfast and lunch. And though parking can sometimes be a challenge, I find the food is well worth the effort.
