    Chorizo breakfast burrito
    Steve S.

One of the best chorizo breakfast burritos I've had! Delicious, Huge-size burritos and each bite just melts in your mouth. They serve it with a side of salsa and pico de gallo. Absolutely delicious and filling! The spot is a hole in the wall type of place with amazing and warm customer service. Very low key spot, but more than makes up for it with service and the quality of food. Will definitely be back!

Nothing but great things to say about this place! The food was delicious! We went in a group and each thing we ordered was cooked perfectly, the flavors were amazing! The staff were very friendly, and helpful, they went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our food and had all we needed! We will definitely be back! The outdoor seating was perfect! The place is very clean, inside and out! The place is very well kept!

Huevos con Machaca and a side of chorizo

Really wanted to like their food from the amazing looking pictures on their page. We ordered breakfasts to-go and unfortunately neither plate was what we expected. I ordered the chilaquiles and requested both red and green since it was my first time trying them out I wanted to taste both salsas. I know it's a tricky dish for take out considering texture but we live close by so I wasn't concerned. And as I expected the texture of the chilaquiles was fine. You can tell they'd been drenched in salsa at one point with nice softness but not soggy. However they were lacking salsa once packed and severely severely lacking flavor. All I could taste was a small hint of tomatillo. My husband ordered huevos con machaca with a side of chorizo. I tried the machaca and again it was extremely bland. The chorizo was packed in its casing which was not aesthetically pleasing but at least it had flavor. The only thing that stood out was the rice and beans; now THOSE were delicious. They also don't have cafe de olla which was a bummer for a Mexican breakfast. Overall the only compliments I can give out is for their rice and beans and how generously portions are served. Unfortunately it just totally missed the mark on flavor.

The molcajete and micheladas were delicious. Everything was affordable as well. Both the inside and outside were very loud but I expected it nonetheless. The service was great.

When there are this many five star reviews, you have to pay attention and check it out!!! Be forewarned! This place ain't fancy!!! Look past the environment because the food and the service will make you feel like you're dining in someone's kitchen in their home!! And the homemade freshly made tortillas are worth the trip itself!!! I ordered Machaca and eggs which came with a generous side of rice and beans, which were absolutely delicious!!! I also like to order an à la cart chile relleno because it's usually a nice small side. This chile relleno was the size of the plate and was probably the best chile relleno I've had in my life. EVERYTHING was so fresh and filling! Reasonable prices for such generous portions! And the ladies who work there were just lovely and friendly and attentive! This place is a little out of the way up on Parthenia, but it's well worth my drive to come back again and try more things on their menu. Highly recommend!!!

The service was like I was eating at my mom's but the food fell short. The music and ambiance made up for it and I would come back to try something else

So bomb. This little spot serves up some delicious, authentic Mexican food and man it hits. Good options for all meals including breakfast, and the people are nice. Our to-go order was cooked quickly but they def didn't cut any corners. My rancheros were wonderful from the sauce to the homemade tortillas. We also ordered a burrito and chilaquiiles rojos and everyone loved what they had. Definitely come visit this gem!

    Carne asada fries

Finally some good carne asada fries! Fries and the carne asada seasoned to perfection the sour cream guacamole and cheese complement each other very well! My go too spot when it comes to getting carne asada fries. If you want more flavor put some hot sauce that they give you to give it a kick you won't regret it!

We had to go to our eye, we are not from this area so I yelped best Mexican food near by and Daisy's had great reviews. We took a chance and actually passed by it, it's a little hole in the wall. When we arrived the music was playing loud and I hesitated. We were greeted by two very nice waitstaff ladies. They quickly gave us homemade chips with chorizo bean dip that was delicious. I ordered the asada burrito it was full of meat and delicious. My husband had a Shrimp Torta with cactus, it's was so good!! The tortillas were handmade and also very good!! I highly recommend Daisy's the prices were very reasonable especially considering our current economy. Can't wait until next year's eye appointment, we are coming back.

Yummy menudo with freshly made thick hot corn tortillas . Great flavors. My son got the red chilaquiles and those were delicious too. When you are seated, They bring out some crisp tostadas to use to dip into a little bean dip, salsa roja and pico del gallo. The orange juice was amazing. Fresh squeezed into a huge glass. The service was top notch as well, they were really nice and checked in on us frequently. We sat in their back patio. There is parking back there too. You can also sit in front on the restaurant but the back patio definitely has a chill vibe. They have a big speaker playing music too. I can't wait to go back to try their other food items!

Seafood Molcajete de Mariscos. Excellent for two people on a cold day.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

They guide you to the entrance which about one hundred feet north. Walking in you're shown many awards, culminating in a 2025 Michelin. There must have been a special occasion to be welcomed by music that was incredibly loud. We sat down, and I couldn't hear myself think, or the waiters voices. We asked for another table, but unfortunately that brought a certain type of attitude from the host. I'm sure the music would have been nice if it wasn't as loud, on amplified speakers. After finally being seated, near the bar, the service seemed great. Seating seemed plentiful, but I can now see why a reservation is necessary. To start, the appetizer we chose was a queso fundido which was ok on their smaller tortillas. I must have been spoiled by Chalio's homemade giant tortillas. Chalio's on Atlantic by the way. Guelageutza uses sautéed mushrooms, and they garnished it with this guacamole that didn't really taste that good. Mushrooms on the fundido didn't seem right, but individually they tasted great. The chorizo was ok. My gf likes to try those types of apps. They're not known for that, so I can let it pass. Our order was taken, food was quick, and hot. The attentiveness of the staff was good, but their smiles were absent. Must have had a long day. I got the black Mole chicken, my gf got the enchilada negras(black mole) topped with their tesajo. My dish was good, hot, and full of mole, which was delicious as well. They served it with their tiny homemade corn tortillas. They have several types of mole. My gf got the enchiladas Oaxaceñas and it looked good until I took a bite of the enchiladas. They just poured mole over the tortillas and that's where the flavor went flat. The tortillas were dry and not dipped in the sauce. Traditionally in my family, we fry our tortillas lightly in oil, or lard, and roll them in the sauce. My gf didn't even finish them. I ate all of my meal, and I took her enchiladas home. They were even worse as leftovers. I tried to order their traditional flan, but they had ran out, so I ordered their tres leches. It was ok. I was really disappointed that they ran out of flan though. All in all, this establishment was ok. The atmosphere seemed very manufactured, but I've never had the pleasure of visiting Oaxaca. The mole negro was delicious on the chicken. Seeing that It was recommended on Yelp, I agreed with the statement of picking that dish. The bathrooms were great with a good amount of stalls. I can't say that about a lot of good delicious Mexican food restaurants here in LA. They seem to be more of an afterthought with some. Reminding myself this was Michelin rated restaurant, I didn't get that same feeling with the food though. This now, will give me an excuse to look into why a restaurant is rated as such to understand why that matters so much.
