I've driven past this restaurant many times, so today I finally decided to stop in--and I'm glad I did. The menu has a little bit of everything, from breakfast to lunch, and they offer both indoor (although rather small) and outdoor seating. I ordered the tacos dorados de papa with tater tots, and my friend had the French toast. We both enjoyed a café de olla along with water. Everything was delicious. The flavors were spot-on, and the portions were just right. The service was excellent as well. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a big smile on his face. This is definitely one of those spots I'll be coming back to whenever I want a quick, tasty bite. read more

No Sabo Cafe, formerly known as Krazy Korner, used to be one of my favorite restaurants near downtown San Fernando. I used to come here for lunch almost every day when I worked in the area, and I was especially a big fan of their café de olla. The food menu (and prices) still seems to be the same as before, but the quality doesn't feel quite the same. Their spicy salsa (cacahuate) now tastes watered down and bland, and even the food and coffee don't have the same flavor they used to. I'll still stop by occasionally for my usual potato tacos or tacos de carne asada, but it's not quite the same experience I remember. The interior has also changed, and personally, I preferred the way it looked before. It used to have a more homey, cozy feel to it. The changes aren't terrible, but I do feel like some things went downhill after the rebrand. That said, the staff is wonderful. They're kind, helpful, and the service is always fast. I still have a soft spot for this place, but I do miss how it used to be. read more

The best burger in the game right now (50/50 Chorizo and Beef WHAT!!!!), and the Birria Egg Roll should be studied. These people know exactly what they are doing and they do it at a high level!! Wanted to love this place because I saw the videos and reviews online, however, it was not as tasteful as I thought it would be. In total it was $44 bucks for two maple pancakes, a torta, a Jamaica, and a cafe de olla. The cafe de olla was somewhat bland with hardly any cinnamon. The Jamaica was tasteful. The torta was good but the carne asada was too lemony. Not sure how it got like that. The three sauces they had were good and the best one was the orange (habanero) one. The pancakes were okay and the big slop of "maple" on the pancakes did not do its justice. The maple tasted more like cajeta. It's a small joint with some outside seating. The service was slow and that was before it got packed. Overall, not sure if it was worth it. read more

The service is touch and go depending on who's helping you. The food here is excellent there's no denying that. The birria egg rolls are the best thing on the menu. We had the breakfast huarache that came with chorizo super delicious. The green chilaquiles with asada also really good. The pancake with sausage, the sausage comes cooked inside the pancake so just be aware prior to ordering I don't think it says on the menu, especially since I ordered it for my young son he was surprised. This place is super cute and tiny. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is available to the public. There is free parking in the back of the restaurant. The people who work here are very kind, helpful, and have exceptional customer service. The portion of the food was great! Amazing prices too!! I would definitely recommend coming here. You get your moneys worth. The customer service is phenomenal. The agua frescas weren't filled with a lot of rice. Just good enough to keep it cold. Seriously you get your hang for your buck here. No Sabo is legit. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients--everything tastes fresh and well-prepared, not mass-produced. The chilaquiles are excellent, but the gorditas with chicharrones are the standout. The chicharrones are seasoned perfectly and have the best texture. On top of the food, the service is great. My wife grabbed me a burrito from here when she came today. This is one of her favorite spot to get her gorditas so that's why she came today. I been to the area this place is in before when my wife went to get her hair done at another store in the same plaza. There parking in the back and I don't think think it gets filled up a lot. I asked my wife to get me the carne asada burrito but without the beans and rice. I saw it already came with onion and cilantro so I was fine with that. My wife got her carne asada gorditas and her agua de jamaica drink. She placed her order ahead of time by calling it in. When I started eating my burrito, I notice that there was no onion or cilantro in the burrito. It was just carne asada and cheese so I thought it was just in the middle or bottom. So I continue to eat the burrito with the orange salsa which I thought was good. After I got to the middle of the burrito, it was easy to tell that they didn't put any onion or cilantro in it. GO!! The place was busy which is always a good sign for a restaurant. The staff handled it well. The food itself was great. I had the chilaquiles (red sauce) with egg = delicious. My friend had the Chorizo and eggs = he loved it. My other friend had the Flautas = very good. They had Horchatas which they loved and I had the Lime-Cucumber Agua Fresca and you should just get it because it's delicious and very thirst quenching. Drove to San Fernando from castaic just to try out the no sabo specials. Picked up the no sabo burrito, smash burger, maple butter pancakes, and menudo (weekend special). No sabo went 4/4 on all of it. Not a single miss. Flavors were on point and not like every other breakfast burrito or burger. It's got its own style. I follow them on social media and when I didn't see the usual suspects from social media opening up the shop I was a little concerned that the flavors and presentation may differ from what gets shown on social media. I was pleasantly surprised to have great service and the opening staff delivered on the flavors as well. I didn't get to try some of the lunch items so I will definitely be returning to try the tacos, birria egg rolls and other items. 100% recommend anybody to try it out. read more

This place is a hit or miss. I've had more negative experiences than positive at this point. The food CAN be great but they're very inconsistent. My pancakes were $13-$14 for two burnt pancakes, I didn't receive their "special" butter and I waited 35 mins past the wait time I was quoted. On another occasion my food was cold to the touch. The tortilla is nicely toasted on the outside, ingredient distribution inside is so even that nothing overpowers the others and the potatoes inside are how hash browns should be prepped everywhere - like little mashed potato balls flash fried to have eggshell-thin crispy outer layer and creamy mashed potatoes inside. Had a craving for a breakfast burrito so I found this place on yelp. It did not disappoint! I got two burritos the No Sabo and the breakfast burrito with Carne Asada. Both are very well balanced on flavors, although I didn't notice that the Carne Asada breakfast burrito is dry and the No Sabo one is a little bit on the wet side, but both were definitely good! The tortilla is thin and flavorful but holds the burrito well. The place is small but very clean, the guy who took my order was very friendly. The food is delicious. Francisco and Antonia are amazing cooks that make the food like your mom was cooking. The Salsas are homemade and they are incredible. Nancy and Madison have amazing customer service. David the owner is awesome they cook their food with avocado oil and as someone who takes care of their body knows that avocado oil is one of the best oils to cook with that is non inflammatory. I don't live near this restaurant but I have come down 4 times and they have not disappointed. The chilaquiles with carne asada are delicious. The no sabo burger is . The other day was our first time at No Sabo cafe. No Sabo Cafe is a cute spot located on the first corner of the San Fernando Mall. Upon arrival, we notice there is a line out the door (a clear indication of a 'good eats' finding). Once we walked-in, we were greeted with friendly faces from the staff. We placed our order and the counter and we advised to seat anywhere in the restaurant (they have inside and outdoor seating). We both ordered burritos and were able to try each of their homemade salsas. Everything was delicious and we will be coming back for sure. read more

Upon entering I was not greeted but I quickly noticed that it was just two ladies running the shop. This is on a Sunday morning, most of the tables were occupied so I understood why I was ignored. There is no clear sign where to place the order and I tried to ask one of the ladies where to wait to get helped but again my efforts failed. It was a little embarrassing as the people eating there were just looking at me as if I was in the wrong place. I decided to wait by the register and it wasn't until 5min of standing there that I was acknowledged. I ordered the chilaquiles red and green with egg and steak. And for dessert ordered the French toast. I also tried the fresco de piña. The food is tasty but the portions are very small for the price.
