    Birria melt & consemé
    Monica M.

We come here when we are craving something different, like the birria melt or the no sabo burrito and café de Olla. Service is good & there's limited seating inside & outside with a view of the outdoor swap meet. & my kid loves the churro crossaint (not a surprise)

The service is touch and go depending on who's helping you. The food here is excellent there's no denying that. The birria egg rolls are the best thing on the menu. We had the breakfast huarache that came with chorizo super delicious. The green chilaquiles with asada also really good. The pancake with sausage, the sausage comes cooked inside the pancake so just be aware prior to ordering I don't think it says on the menu, especially since I ordered it for my young son he was surprised. It still was really good though.

The best burger in the game right now (50/50 Chorizo and Beef WHAT!!!!), and the Birria Egg Roll should be studied. These people know exactly what they are doing and they do it at a high level!! It's a little small inside but they have a cool little outside patio where you can people watch as you eat. Great energy here overall !

I came here because I happened to be in the area. The chilaquiles were delicious and I was offered 3 additional sauces. Service was friendly and quick.

-Handmade tortillas! -outstanding customer service. -free parking behind the building. The pancakes are not on the menu but they do serve them! I strictly came here with the intention of ordering their pancakes. did that but also tried their huevo ranchers. I was not disappointed. It was authentic and exceed my expectations, considering it's called "no Sabo". It was so good I want to come back and try the entire menu. The only negative thing I have to say is they do not provide a restroom for their customers.

This place is super cute and tiny. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is available to the public. There is free parking in the back of the restaurant. The people who work here are very kind, helpful, and have exceptional customer service. The portion of the food was great! Amazing prices too!! I would definitely recommend coming here. You get your moneys worth. The customer service is phenomenal. The agua frescas weren't filled with a lot of rice. Just good enough to keep it cold. Seriously you get your hang for your buck here. Thank you No Sabo Staff for your amazing hard work and customer service. We will be coming back.

Pancake with their syrup and butter

So... I saw on TikTok a short on the pancakes this restaurant has to offer, so I went to check them out , I tried the pancake alone at first to get the flavor , because a good Pancake is all about the actual pancake not the toppings and add-ons , the pancake is good, fluffy, tasty and good flavor, then I added a little of their syrup it was good, but I prefer butter and Mrs Butterworth syrup on my pancakes so yes the pancakes are delicious, next time I'll have to try something savory from the menu, service was perfect food was freshly made, hot and ready quick . Ambiance is cool little cafe vibe , definitely coming back!

My wife grabbed me a burrito from here when she came today. This is one of her favorite spot to get her gorditas so that's why she came today. I been to the area this place is in before when my wife went to get her hair done at another store in the same plaza. There parking in the back and I don't think think it gets filled up a lot. I asked my wife to get me the carne asada burrito but without the beans and rice. I saw it already came with onion and cilantro so I was fine with that. My wife got her carne asada gorditas and her agua de jamaica drink. She placed her order ahead of time by calling it in. When I started eating my burrito, I notice that there was no onion or cilantro in the burrito. It was just carne asada and cheese so I thought it was just in the middle or bottom. So I continue to eat the burrito with the orange salsa which I thought was good. After I got to the middle of the burrito, it was easy to tell that they didn't put any onion or cilantro in it. So my burrito was still good, I just would've hope it had some veggies in it. My wife loved her food and drink.

GO!! The place was busy which is always a good sign for a restaurant. The staff handled it well. The food itself was great. I had the chilaquiles (red sauce) with egg = delicious. My friend had the Chorizo and eggs = he loved it. My other friend had the Flautas = very good. They had Horchatas which they loved and I had the Lime-Cucumber Agua Fresca and you should just get it because it's delicious and very thirst quenching. The restaurant itself is nice and cozy, plus there's some outdoor seating too. Overall, I'd recommend this place and look forward to going back.

Burnt, dry and missing their butter sauce

This place is a hit or miss. I've had more negative experiences than positive at this point. The food CAN be great but they're very inconsistent. My pancakes were $13-$14 for two burnt pancakes, I didn't receive their "special" butter and I waited 35 mins past the wait time I was quoted. On another occasion my food was cold to the touch. The service also isn't great especially if they're busy.

This cafe is my go to spot for breakfast everytime I'm in town! Great food, good atmosphere, and speedy service 10/10. Highly recommend if you're in town. I've had both their red and green chilaquiles with carne asada and sunny side up eggs. I can't wait for their pumpkin spice pancakes to be back on their menu!

San Fernando is a narrow 2 way street but there is parking available. We found a metered spot and put money in for an hour. You have to pay everyday except Sundays. The inside was cute and busy. There are tables and a bar area to sit at. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number so they can bring your order to you. Staff was friendly, they gave us a few min to go over the menu and answered any questions we had. The menu had drinks, small bites and sandwitches. Drinks also came out quickly, although we did have to wait longer for the food items. My matcha that I ordered was really good, it was off the seasonal menu. It was a peach basil matcha, very creative combination and the basil was not overpowering at all. I also got an avocado toast with egg and that item was a little underwhelming. The egg was cold and the avocado needed a little more flavor. However, overall good experience.

I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.

As always, the food was great, portions are generous, the restaurant was busy and our server was nice. My friend and I came in for breakfast, ordered our entrees and both ordered iced tea. The cups our beverages were brought in, were plastic to go cups, but I was like okay whatever, maybe the kitchen is busy and they didn't have time to clean the glasses. My friend asked for a refill, and I don't remember if she was brought over an entirely new drink or if the server took her plastic cup away, and refilled it. About five minutes later when I asked for a refill, we were then notified that they charge for refills. So, the first time we were charged for a refill without being notified, and then when I asked for a refill we were then told of this "refill" charge, which is basically the cost of an entirely new drink. I declined the "refill." So, for 3-20 oz black iced teas we were charged $12.75. I understand that prices are going up, and restaurants may charge for refills, but the way this was handled was off putting and kind of gross. AND THEN, there is something on the receipt called "cash discount", but it is actually an additional line item charge (I paid w/my Visa cc).
