It's not soggy and it holds its shape. The birria consomé itself is something I come back for by itself. You can definitely taste the cloves. I reccomend asking for more lime. It was really off putting but the birria was enough to come back and I live really close. Last couple times I've gone this year and late last year they have improved to less than 15 minutes depending on the size of the order. But it's also the fact that she makes me out to be the idiot for being confused at her ridiculous questions. They then gave us the same number as the man before us and had to bring it to their attention, so they wouldn't give our food to him (he had a to-go). Thanks to the man that went to go say something. Then, my mom said that they charged us the same amount for both menudos when on the menu it shows up at different prices (we got 1 pata, 1 without). I brought it to their attention and I said, "That's okay, you could go ahead and bring me the pata, since you already charged me for it." She answered, "Well, you have to go pay the difference up front." I repeated myself, she viewed my receipt and said okay. She comes back 5 minutes later and she tells me, "They charged you for the pata, do you want your money back?" I said, "no, you could go ahead and bring it to me with the pata." Then she finally brings it out and tells me, "it's priced at the same amount whether you get pata or not." Whether or not, that was true, why was she trying to charge me the difference. They never brought my mom that said sangria, she never ordered. She went to go get a refund for that and they only gave her $4 with no added tax amount, so they didn't even process her refund as they were supposed to. To make matters worse, the food wasn't even good. I really tried to enjoy it, but the menudo was tough and quesabirrias lacked flavor. The restaurant was small, and we had to sit outside, which was okay, considering it wasn't too hot out. In conclusion, service was awful, rude, there was no coordination, food was not the best, and the it was small but very limited seating. I was so excited to come here, because an influencer said this place was so good. Last time I listen to someone on the internet. My fault, but I was just so disappointed.
