I would give this company zero stars if I could. Absolute horrible experience. Initially I…read morerequested a rear facing car seat for my 14 month old and the day of - when we were flying to Nantucket, they told us they only have forward facing. I was quoted $120 for the car transport from the airport to hotel which is a 15 minute ride. I agreed to pay this which is way more than anyone would pay because I had an child and needed the car seat. When I got the final charge, they charged be over $200. They claim they charge per hour and build in a 30 minute wait time for driver at airport and 15 minute return time to the lot. If this is the case, show this in the pricing instead of making it fine print in your contract. When I voiced my concerns about this, they said sorry for the confusion and sent me a breakdown of the timing- UNACEPPTABLE!

I planned it because of how much she enjoyed Elin's books, andI have never read a book but Heather made the tour absolutely wonderful with all the facts and stories about the books and the island. In addition it was just fabulous seeing so much of the island in such a relatively short time. Additionally, DelRose was an amazing driver on the tight streets and navigating the bus like a small car, and she as well added stories which was so informative. I loved the Chicken Box stop because I wanted to go there, without knowing about the books and it didn't disappoint at all!! It truly highlighted the beauty of Nantucket. We met another couple celebrating their 25th anniversary and it was just so neat to see how much it meant to Elin's fans. Heather made this tour very personal and you could truly feel her and Elin's passion about Nantucket. I would highly recommend this tour, you will not e disappointed!!!! I even watched the 5 Star Weekend when we got home!

Why they don't just have you check in with the bus driver like literally every other bus tour I've been on, I don't know, but that's there policy, and so be it. Anyway, I go to the office and there is literally nobody there. As I'm waiting another person from the same tour I'm going to be on comes in. We both end up waiting another 5 minutes before someone shows up. We are then walked to the bus, 5 minutes later than are scheduled start time (although we did go about 20 minutes past are scheduled end time, which almost made someone be late for the ferry). Delaraose was out tour guide. And don't get me wrong, she's nice and full of energy, Ibut just didn't like her style. It was along the lines of "There are 3 cemeteries in Nantucket and 1 Elementary school...." and then a couple minutes asking questions about what she just said and expecting everyone to shout back the answer, over and over. It just got annoying after a couple times. The rest of the group seemed into it though. So mileage may vary. The overall point remains though that the company as a whole is disoragnized and not worth it.

We were given a map & advised to ride on Polpis road to Milestone for a scenic ride…read more That's a busy road where the majority of your ride is listening to cars going 45 mph for 9 miles until you get to Siasconset. The beaches along this path are not visible from the road as they are all private for the residents. At 6:05 we were told the taxi was 5 min away. On consecutive calls we were again told the taxi was moments away. NO taxi arrived so we had to scramble as not to miss our flight. When we could not wait any longer we had the courtesy to call Milestone and cancel. On future trips to the island we will use one of the many other Taxi services! Never Milestone!
