    Shrimp Tacos w/ Fried Okra

Restaurant is connected to a hotel. The dining is casual. Overall food was tasty and the shrimp was well seasoned. The server was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to trying something new next time.

We had a large order for delivery. It arrived in the estimated time and everything was correct. Everything was good. I tried boom boom shrimp, mac n cheese and sweet potato tots. I especially liked the sweet potato tots. The cinnamon is a nice touch and it's not too sweet while eating a savory meal.

I was wavering between a 4 and 5 stars. It was really good. I got the shrimp sampler and it was a nice variety. Also had the clam chowder which I was skeptical of since they don't make it fresh here but it was really tasty. This place is off the street and frequently doesn't have a lot of customers, but if shrimp is your thing this is the place to go.

My family enjoyed our dinner here last night. I'll admit I didn't realize it was a restaurant adjoining a Comfort Inn lobby but don't let that dissuade you from eating here. The boom boom shrimp and the sweet chili shrimp were amazing! The crispy light batter with the sticky sweet sauce is just divine. The sweet potato tots were so delicious! My nephew loved the shrimp scampi pasta and the snow crab legs were devoured by my sister and said to be fresh and delicious as well. Not one person out of 7 had any complaints about our food and the servers kept our drinks constantly filled. There were only a few other tables when we arrived yet the place started to fill up as we were leaving. Thanks for the great meal!

We were looking for a light meal and this was perfect! Not crowded and service was friendly. They were generous enough to split the Alfredo meal into two meals for our two granddaughters and it was plentiful.

My fam and I came in for lunch and the place was empty. We were greeted by a friendly employee and we took our seats and picked what we wanted. You order at the counter and they bring everything out to you. The food was surprisingly pretty great in my opinion! Hush puppies and calamari were both very flavorful. Calamari portion was generous, and came with a great sauce. Fried fish and shrimps were also great, all had a wonderfully seasoned coating. The real star was the clam chowder soup. Super creamy and satisfying. Staff was kind and checked up on us regularly, but only one was visibly wearing a mask and taking proper precautions given the current situation. Regardless though everything was great!

I have had food from this place twice now and I must say it is very good. It's a little pricey, but I guess it's seafood in general. I love the shrimp and the Mac and cheese is pretty good. It's a restaurant connected to a hotel and it's in the back, but it's worth visiting. I haven't eaten inside,I just order takeout. They don't do phone orders so you have to order online. I do recommend to try their food. I've only had the shrimp.

While vacationing in Orlando, my family had dinner here the other night. My wife and oldest daughter has the sautéed shrimp and really enjoyed it. My youngest daughter has the fried shrimp and enjoyed hers too. I had the fish (haddock) & chips which was delicious. My son had chicken tacos and he thought they were delicious also. This location only loses a star for the atmosphere which was bland at best.

In Florida just visiting and what not. Came here because yum, duh. Since we came in the middle of the day it was maybe one or two families inside. It is pretty large inside with I believe an upstairs as well. I had shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries and the Mr. got a po'boy. I thoroughly enjoyed my food, the shrimp was cooked great it wasn't over fried and they were seasoned nicely. I only wish they had options that aren't all fried. Desire checking in, they forgot my hush puppies.

Nantucket Shrimp Shack Good size restaurant specializes in "Shrimp". Good size portions on the orders at a fair price. People are real nice and friendly, when we arrived, there was practically no one else which was kind of concerning. Fish and Shrimp with French Fries was good, the shrimp was outstanding, the fries were bountiful and crisp, just good to average. The breaded fish was good and good size. Shrimp Tacos order came with 3 good size tortilla tacos filled with shrimp and were tasty, would recommend the shrimp tacos. From the previous Yelp reviews, I had high expectations that I personally felt the restaurant did not live up to. Nothing bad, but just expected more

My wife and I visited here on Sunday evening about 6:30 PM, after a trade show and hotel a 3 minute walk away. We were greeted and told to be seated anywhere. Not a problem since there was only one other table occupied. We were given menus and told to come to counter to place our order, which we did. We had earlier checked their menu and reviews on Yelp so we already knew our selections. We placed our orders and took advantage of the military discount. I also confirmed that I was a Yelper, which entitled us a free serving of corn fritters. First problem came when I visited the bathroom. The urinal was broken and the toilet had stuff in it from a prior occupant and did not flush well. I was surprised that this restaurant had capacity for a large number of people but had only single occupant toilets! My wife also visited the ladies room that was out of bathroom tissue. Our food came in good time and was fantastic. I ordered the Fried Seafood Platter. It was very hot and appealing. My shrimp were great and accompanied by cocktail sauce and a spicy boom-boom sauce. My fried okra was also fantastic and plentiful. My oysters were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect! My wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp platter with fries. Her shrimp was also excellent and her sauce choice was also the boom-boom spicy. Fries were also very good. There was a single Condiment Bar with a variety of sauces and hot sauces. Sadly though most of the sauces were almost empty or empty. I hesitated to use any that may have sat for a long time, having had a stomach issue years ago from a restaurant hot sauce that had aged to a dangerous level. I did use the malt vinegar for my tilapia. Several issues took Nantucket Shrimp down to 3 stars but the fantastic food brought it up to 4.

Really good food here, been here many times before and food is always on point. The shrimp sampler is a must and my new favorite is the andouille sausage poboy. It is very flavorful and it doesn't cost that much. The sweet potato tots, hush puppies, mac and cheese and coleslaw are all really good sides. A great place to eat.

I'm sorry for the people who gave bad reviews because I had an amazing experience. I just stopped in for a quick lunch and took some to go for my daughter. The food was fast and delicious. I looked around a little bit. I didn't get to check out the 2nd floor, but I will definitely be back with the family for some good food and drinks. I had the Nantucket Lobster Roll with Fried Okra for myself and Shrimp Po Boy for my daughter. The Lobster Roll was stuffed and the bread was buttery and soft. The Okra was fried perfectly. I had a couple of my daughter's fries and they were addicting, but I didn't get a chance to taste her Shrimp Po Boy. Andre and Shawniece showed some Southern hospitality along with the cooks who worked fast to get my to-go order out.

This was not our 1st time ordering a crab boil but, it was our BEST boil! Our waitress, Danielle was helpful in providing recommendations. I am an Oyster lover so, I started with 1/2 dozen. Pretty affordable at $14.00 and they were fairly large. The Hubby is not so much a fan so, he started with a bowl of New England Clam chowder, pretty hearty. We simplified our boil and got 1 lb of crab and 1/2 lb of shrimp, no heads. Opted for the garlic butter sauce which was so yummy. The boil comes with corn and potatoes. You are given a plastic bib and gloves but, honestly, the boil is a little messy which makes it interactive and fun! Overall, an affordable seafood restaurant considering the cost of crab these days.

The hotel lobby was very clean and sleek, and the concierge were very nice and communicative! The restaurant is just inside on the first floor, and was very well presented. It was very slow this morning for brunch, and we had no problems finding a place to sit with our little 2 month old boy! The staff served us quickly, and explained each of their recommendations. I'm so glad we listened because each of the items were beautifully presented, and so so delicious. We started with the tuna pizza, mainly because we were curious, and that was the most unique take on pizza/seafood in my opinion. The tuna was so fresh, the garlic aioli complimented very well with the crisp cracker/crust. I had the Ette Norwegian Benedict and was very happy. The smoked salmon was very tasty, and the side arugula and avocado salad was very fresh. Maddie had the lobster roll which absolutely slapped! Lastly, we were recommended the AB Chocolate in a cup, and WOW you must try this! Very warm nutella chocolate cake at the bottom, vanilla ice cream all the way to the top of the cup, and topped with a hard chocolate disk and banana foam. It was honestly one of the top desserts I have ever had. We shared one, but so tempted to order another one! I can't wait to come back and try some of their cocktails sometime with dinner!

You have to pay to secure your seating, including mandatory 20% tip. Equaled out to $100/pp. Very steep! Reservations were easy on Open Table. We arrived separately & met in the lobby of the hotel the restaurant is in. Very upscale. Gorgeous. Literally NO guests visible. No staff at the hostess station. When I walked in to the bar to ask about seating, I got very dismissive responses from the bartender & the person who ended up being the host. Like WEIRD rude. Service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was largely empty the whole time. It was unnerving. The tea refresh was simply more hot water, NOT a fresh tea bag, so round two was basically flavorless. Ew. The server was really nice, but the long waits to get her attention were frustrating. And the water bottles were kept away from our table (?). I was having thirsty day, so my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth for way too long. When I asked for the bottle, she acted like she was irritated because it was "right behind" (me). Where neither of us could see it??? The lighting was AWFUL so most of the pics look bad, even with heavy editing. You can tell it's beautiful, but the pics are rough. Now - the settings were GORGEOUS. The dishes and flatware were beautiful. The water options were wonderful. The food is in the top 3 of any tea service I've ever had. The tea itself is hands down the best tea I've EVER HAD anywhere. You get a sampler box to smell before you choose, and there were so many that I loved. I ended up with Marco Polo blue, add honey and cream. I couldn't finish all the food, and they boxed the remainder up. Let me take the remainder of my water bottle home. Pushed for a review HARD. So here it is. We have to remember that the Michelin rating is solely for the food, not the decor, not the service. It definitely delivered there, but the rest really fell flat. For the price I'd expect way more as it's about double what tea costs anywhere else in the entire area.
