Overall: Looks can be deceiving but great food at a great price. Ambiance: The parking spaces are right in front of a hotel. We were unsure if we could park there. The outside isn't very nice to look and inside definitely doesn't look very nice either. It looks oily, and could use a renovation. Service: Amazing! My family enjoyed our dinner here last night. I'll admit I didn't realize it was a restaurant adjoining a Comfort Inn lobby but don't let that dissuade you from eating here. The boom boom shrimp and the sweet chili shrimp were amazing! The crispy light batter with the sticky sweet sauce is just divine. The sweet potato tots were so delicious! My nephew loved the shrimp scampi pasta and the snow crab legs were devoured by my sister and said to be fresh and delicious as well. Not one person out of 7 had any complaints about our food and the servers kept our drinks constantly filled. My fam and I came in for lunch and the place was empty. We were greeted by a friendly employee and we took our seats and picked what we wanted. You order at the counter and they bring everything out to you. The food was surprisingly pretty great in my opinion! Hush puppies and calamari were both very flavorful. Calamari portion was generous, and came with a great sauce. Fried fish and shrimps were also great, all had a wonderfully seasoned coating. The real star was the clam chowder soup. Super creamy and satisfying. Staff was kind and checked up on us regularly, but only one was visibly wearing a mask and taking proper precautions given the current situation. Yich. Colleagues and I tried Nantucket Shrimp Shack by delivery since it seemed to be one of the few non-chain restaurants in the area and Disney resort food was starting to get a little old. It was fairly horrible. Shrimp tacos came with rubbery, hard pellets of breaded, deep fried shrimp with the **tails left on** (which seems like a bad idea?); the blandest pico de gallo-esque salsa I have ever had; shredded lettuce; and some sort of creamy orange sauce. Fries were soggy, unsalted, and underfried; hush puppies were burnt; and fried okra was soggy and utterly flavorless. I passionately love okra in almost any form. This stuff made me want to cry. I despise food waste and think it's a great evil in wealthy countries. I'm THAT person who powers through my kiddos' gross leftovers Dan Pashman style. I have had food from this place twice now and I must say it is very good. It's a little pricey, but I guess it's seafood in general. I love the shrimp and the Mac and cheese is pretty good. It's a restaurant connected to a hotel and it's in the back,but it's worth visiting. I haven't eaten inside,I just order takeout. They don't do phone orders so you have to order online. In Florida just visiting and what not. Came here because yum, duh. Since we came in the middle of the day it was maybe one or two families inside. It is pretty large inside with I believe an upstairs as well. I had shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries and the Mr. got a po'boy. My wife and I visited here on Sunday evening about 6:30 PM, after a trade show and hotel a 3 minute walk away. We were greeted and told to be seated anywhere. Not a problem since there was only one other table occupied. We were given menus and told to come to counter to place our order, which we did. We had earlier checked their menu and reviews on Yelp so we already knew our selections. We placed our orders and took advantage of the military discount. I also confirmed that I was a Yelper, which entitled us a free serving of corn fritters. First problem came when I visited the bathroom. The urinal was broken and the toilet had stuff in it from a prior occupant and did not flush well. I was surprised that this restaurant had capacity for a large number of people but had only single occupant toilets! My wife also visited the ladies room that was out of bathroom tissue. Our food came in good time and was fantastic. I ordered the Fried Seafood Platter. It was very hot and appealing. My shrimp were great and accompanied by cocktail sauce and a spicy boom-boom sauce. My fried okra was also fantastic and plentiful. My oysters were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect! My wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp platter with fries. Her shrimp was also excellent and her sauce choice was also the boom-boom spicy. Fries were also very good. There was a single Condiment Bar with a variety of sauces and hot sauces. Sadly though most of the sauces were almost empty or empty. I hesitated to use any that may have sat for a long time, having had a stomach issue years ago from a restaurant hot sauce that had aged to a dangerous level. Ok this is an interesting place. It's not fine dining and looks like what you would expect a restaurant attached to a Comfort Inn. It was fine though.... Not great... not bad. The prices were pretty good for the amount of food and the bar was flat out cheap (I had 2 gin and tonics and was only out $8). The fried okra was great and fried clams were good too... but nothing to write home about. The portion sizes were large. I'm sorry for the people who gave bad reviews because I had an amazing experience. I just stopped in for a quick lunch and took some to go for my daughter. The food was fast and delicious. I looked around a little bit. I didn't get to check out the 2nd floor, but I will definitely be back with the family for some good food and drinks. I had the Nantucket Lobster Roll with Fried Okra for myself and Shrimp Po Boy for my daughter. The Lobster Roll was stuffed and the bread was buttery and soft. The Okra was fried perfectly. I had a couple of my daughter's fries and they were addicting, but I didn't get a chance to taste her Shrimp Po Boy. I went looking specifically for shrimp on Yelp and this place was highly rated. They earned every single star. Fantastic shrimp, perfectly cooked in every form in the combo. The coconut shrimp ranked as high as my favorite from Seven Brothers in Kahuku, Oahu. The Boom Boom and the garlic shrimp were amazing as well. Crispy where it should be, not greasy, and no overcooked shrimp. The big surprise, though was the Mac-n-cheese. I'm usually wary ordering any mac & cheese because it invariably does not live up to my high expectations. This surpassed my expectations. The only thing that would make it better is the addition of lobster. Or lobster and bacon. It was all I could do to leave my husband's serving alone. The sweet potato tots and the dessert fritters were delicious as well. I always worry that fritters are going to be heavy, but these were light. I am so unhappy to give this place one star but we were super excited to have dinner here but when we arrived at 4:30 pm the doors was locked even though the sign on the door said they open at 4 pm. I went into the Comfort Inn next door and asked if they were closed and was informed that the hotel and the restaurant were separate. The lobby of the hotel connects to the restaurant so we walked up to the rope and saw an employee at a table. We asked him when the restaurant would open . His response was, "Now." He then went into the kitchen and asked someone else about why they weren't open. He came out and only said, "Maybe." It was then that we realized that he only spoke broken English. Well the wife and I saw this place on yelp and decided we should give the tacos a try. We pulled up at 11 and they were closed they don't open until 12. So we hung around and came back when they opened. When you first walk in it's not very appealing they need to work on the decode a little better make it more cozy feeling. Feels like walking into a fast food restaurant hard booth seats so we ere greeted when we came in by a young lady very polite. She handed us menus said sit where you want and come to the register when ready to order. I personally prefer to have someone wait on me at a restaurant or I would have gone to a fast food place. Plus it's a money maker for the young girl for tips if I have to order my own food I'm not tipping for someone to just bring me my food I know it's my choice. The shrimp taco though are omg good just enough shrimp and cooked perfect. I put some of the sweet chili sauce on mine took them up a couple of clicks. The coleslaw wasn't very good and the okra was ok. We would return for the th tacos for sure. We did talk to the manager/owner about not having a server he did mention that he is set up so that servers can come to the tables. I think he would do a lot better with table service, people are on vacation we don't want to wait on ourselves like myself when I go out to eat and on vacation I want someone to give excellent service and they will be rewarded well at the end. I gave a 4 star really 3 1/2 is what I wanted to give. As I mentioned the shrimp tacos were very good the sides need improvement. I absolutely loved this establishment. It's a few months old. We had a family outing and decided to pop in. We were the first guest to arrive that day & were immediately greeted by Andres ( the owner). We sat & were told that when we were ready to order to go to the counter so we did. We ordered one pound of snow crabs that comes with 2 sides, we ordered the mac & cheese and corn fritters and the fried shrimp & fish platter with sweet potatoe tots . Everything was so flavorful & good. The macaroni & cheese was amazing i would go back just for that. The owner told us he makes it every morning from scratch. Really laid-back, cool, casual spot. I could see gathering with my people to watch a game here or something like that. Shrimp tacos were scrumptious! I got the shrimp sautéed instead of fried. Shrimp were cooked just right and lightly seasoned to perfection. The cilantro in the taco was my favorite. Only thing lacking was sour cream and lime wedges. The sweet tea was sweet and brewed in-house. And the hidden gem? Delicious macaroni and cheese! I mean the type with the top cheese baked. It was sooooo good! I was hesitant at first but the young lady at the counter convinced me. I am glad she did. I am so pleased to have found this lil spot. Lots of tasty seafood options, great atmosphere, great service and Mac and Cheese!! And last hidden gem, this spot is black-owned. Which is something important to me when I travel. A group of us stopped in here for dinner. We have friends that have tried this place and liked it so we wanted to check it out. The inside is very spacious and nicely decorated. You choose a seat, review the menu, go to the counter and order, and then food will be brought to you when it's ready. The cool things here were the speed of receiving food, especially since they encountered a bit of a rush after we came in. The food still came out pretty quickly. There were a couple of missing items, but the gentleman that was bringing us our food was really nice and tried correct the issue as quickly as possible. One of the things was the Nantucket fritters and since they were a complimentary item for checking in on Yelp, I wasn't that worried about it (we did end up getting them though.) so kudos to the staff since they seem to care and work to provide good service. The food was just okay in my opinion. My favorites were the clam chowder and the macaroni and cheese. Both of those items were really good. The fried shrimp was okay. The batter was a bit salty to me. I'd have liked to see a few more options for non-fried food. I didn't see many, at least not at the same price point as the fried stuff. Came here with a few clients and decided to try this place. The reviews were already very good so It made me feel more comfortable when I came down to selecting this place. When I came in I realized it was just someone empty. There was just a few people there and I was expecting for a seafood place to see much more folks. Where is your mother and took a drink orders along with the hush puppies and then he waited about 10 minutes before he came back to take out orders. After 10 minutes of waiting myself the orders at the table and everything was perfect as far as portion size is concerned. They give you a perfect amount just to fill you and keep you going. But I must say I admire the most. Outside of that everything is super flavorful, vinegar and you can tell it was prepared properly. I will come back again to try some other things on the menu. First time here and other than it taking a bit long to get our food, this was a great experience. We ordered a kids meal popcorn shrimp with fruit cup$7.95, regular popcorn shrimp meal with side of steamed garlic broccoli $11.95, a coconut shrimp dinner with sweet potato tots $15.95, and an appetizer of 4 hushpuppies$2.95. First let us say that if these are popcorn shrimp....their jumbo shrimp must be huge. The popcorn shrimp was pretty large and there were plenty of them on both the kids meal and adult meal. The coconut shrimp were also very tasty with a sweet chili sauce on the side. There were 12 coconut shrimp. The steamed garlic shrimp were very garlicky and tasty. The sweet potato tots were well prepared and tasty, but...the menu didn't say that they would be served sprinkled with sugar. I know that many restaurants serve baked sweet potatoes this way but I have never had sweet potato tots served this way. Had I known, I would have asked that they didn't do this. All of the food served was hot as it had must just been taken out of the fryer. Service is also very good. We weren't sure what to expect being that this restaurant is connected to a Comfort in on Hwy 192, but the reviews on Yelp are usually a great indication and we really enjoy this. read more

Cute little restaurant within a Comfort Inn Hotel. The tables are spaced out to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines which is a plus. Our waiter was very nice to us. The calamari was not the best, but it was edible. Too much pepper and it tasted a bit stale in my opinion. The steak and crabs plate was 6/10. The steak was a little over cooked for me but still had a pink middle. The crabs were amazing as expected. The fish tacos weren't my dish, but I tried their side of garlic fries and it was top tier. Really enjoyed our food from here! We actually got food here twice during our stay at a nearby Disney resort. The first time delivery, the second time we picked it up ourselves. Which, if you're curious was a pretty easy 10 minute drive. The bang bang shrimp is absolutely delicious. We practically fought over it. The hush puppies are probably the best I've ever had. Caesar salad was pretty basic but they did include plenty of Parmesan cheese on it, which I appreciate. We also really liked the shrimp tacos, and the tails were off, just FYI. It's a very unassuming little building connected to the comfort inn, like some other reviews have mentioned, but don't let it fool you; there's some tasty food in there!
