Held a celebration of life for my father here last night. The staff and management were so accommodating and helpful both last night and in the planning. Had about 50 people in attendance and the service was everything we could have asked, not to mention amazing food!

This gem is my absolute FAVORITE place to get pizza in all of Rockland! Where do I even start? All their pies are masterpieces (sold as whole, brick oven pies) and are made fresh to order so be ready to wait about 30 minutes for it. But boy, is it ever worth the wait! While that gets prepped, I love to order their Irish curry fries (so tasty!), the penne in vodka sauce (also my favorite in Rockland, so rich and creamy), and/or a salad. The fish and chips are also divine. The service is great and attentive. It's a large, pub-like space with a front section, a middle room, and a well lit back section, where I believe they have a small arcade for kids. Bonus, you could play keno while you wait for your food. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants!

We came to the Nanuet Hotel recently and haven't been there in a while. Their pizza hasn't changed and it is just as delicious as I remembered. We ate in a room that I have never been in before, it was in the middle. It was very private and not loud there. I would definitely request to sit in there again. Our waitress was wonderful. She kept checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. For an appetizer, we had the sampler which was all fried. However, it wasn't greasy at all. The onion rings were outstanding and I really enjoyed the chicken fingers. This was a great appetizer to split. For pizza, my husband and I split one of the specials that had vodka sauce, bacon, sausage, and fresh basil. It was really good. I like how thin the pizza is but it can hold the toppings.

Toppings: meatball, spicy sausage, mushrooms, onion, peppercini, and garlic. Get lots of toppings they are great

Best restaurant style pizza in the immediate area. It's pan pizza. growing up in Nanuet There was always talk over who had the better pizza the Nanuet restaurant or the Nanuet hotel? Most people used to tell you the restaurant however in the last few years, most people will tell you that Nanuet hotel has taken over the spot for best....... And I agree. The food is all good, but I almost always just get the pizza one time. I tried the curry dish they sell and was very pleasantly surprised. I recommend to go crazy with the toppings as they are all really good and you might wanna request it Well done. I have had some experiences where it was a little undercooked and soupy in the middle. SALUD!

Bacon, sausage, and pepperoni thin crust. Yum!

The bartender Joann was very nice, food was very good and atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back. Plus you can play quick draw while you're enjoying your beverage!

Couldn't wait to get home. This was after a Swiss-mushroom burger; it was perfectly grilled, medium rare.

This cheese slid off too easily. Leads me to believe a crust issue. But no love lost. Still A+.

Ok, went to high school in Nanuet NY, and had to take a final pizza tour. My parents are selling their house and moving to Florida. Today was the estate sale. Of course I stopped by. NH&R is the best non-wood fired pizza in Nanuet. Rumor has it they have some "vintage" pans from the place across the street that is #NotTheSame. NH&R garlic pie is top notch. However, on this visit the dough was a bit meh as was evidenced by all the cheese that slid off the undercooked crust. It was still very good tho. Nostalgia at every turn. Very well run business. I wish this place another 100 years of healthy business.

I don't even live in the area, but every time I'm in town, it's the first stop on my list. Kathy's bagels are next level: airy, light, and bursting with flavor. What truly blows me away is how fresh they stay, even if you freeze them and reheat later, they still taste like they just came out of the oven! And if you don't freeze them? No worries, because they don't get stale! My go-to bagels are the plain, jalapeño cheddar, onion, and garlic. but let me put you on to the real star: the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese. I know it sounds like a strange combo, but trust me, it's divine. I even gave it a name.. Carri's Strawberry Delight because it deserves that kind of love. I promise you, once you try it, you'll be hooked too! Beyond the incredible bagels, the entire vibe of Kathy's is warm and welcoming. Kathy herself is the sweetest soul genuine, friendly, and always making customers feel like family. The staff is just as amazing: attentive, upbeat, and kind. Plus, they cater to everyone with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and the shop is filled with beautiful natural light that makes you want to stay a while. My only complaint? Ordered steak fajitas and a Diet Coke. Soft drink came immediately and after a few minutes I was served some nice hot chips with a mild salsa. My entree arrived shortly after. With not many photos to go by I was expecting traditional vs gringo style, but seeing macaroni salad served with meat, rice, and beans was different. The meat and bell pepper mixture had a gravy with a little bit of a curry flavor. The best and worst part of the meal were the freshly made tortillas. They only gave two and they are on the small side... but were hot, freshly made, and absolutely delicious. When they noticed I'd finished those and still had over half of my food left they offered more, which I heartily accepted, and a minute or two later I was rewarded with another pair. After using up all four of my tortillas up I still had about 1/3 of my meat and rice which I mixed together with some of the beans and just polished off with a fork. Service was great, food tasted good, only suggestion would be to give more than two tortillas with the initial order. If I am back in Nanuet I'd eat here again.

Pita Greek offers bowls and salads (with added protein possible for $6-7), pita sandwiches, and big platters that come with two sides and pita bread. We really enjoyed the chicken gyro (tender), spanakopita (generously filled), and the falafel (surprisingly not dry but some people may prefer a crisper texture). For the sides, we enjoyed the chicken lemon soup and beets most. The lentil soup, scallion rice (similar to pilaf), broccoli (large pieces), and fries were ok too, in that order. The bowls and pita sandwiches are $12 base but we were a bit disappointed that the falafel addition to the bowl only came with three smallish pieces. The big platters are probably the way to go if you want shareables, as each separate item can be more than the $20 for the platter. They have a pita sandwich lunch special with a drink too. They also have kids meals and catering. Wish they had moussaka on the regular menu! They display desserts at the counter and they all looked very sweet. I wasn't expecting much in terms of atmosphere but it looked comfortable and clean in the dining area and there was outdoor seating.
