When I came in, looking for some advice on my car (after a harsh winter) the guys at the register literally jumped in their seats and gave me some flyers and some business cards that they had on hand at the desk. Really good customer service! This store needs a better sign out front or a better neon sign that advertises that its inside this mall. A quick walk down the isles, showed that this Advance Auto had all the stock and materials and parts and appurtenances that come with a usually very great Advance Auto Parts experience, coast to coast. They have a well-stocked, well-organized inventory, and I'm glad that brand assistance can be done scanning QR codes these days. Checkout was fine. I didn't require assistance while I was there, but I did see one of the staff putting new wiper blades on some other customer's car when I pulled in, so there's that. I'm not sure if the prices are standard versus competitive, but for me, the location is very convenient.

About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent.
