This was the 3rd Napa store I had to go to since NAPA closed 2 store near my house. I drove to the new store At Lakewood and Alondra not knowing it is a franchise store does not honor defective batteries. My truck battery was 1 yr 2 months old. I found the Downey store which not close to my house and they said no receipt no battery replacement. I asked doesn't this company have a date base that shows my information. She said no. I told her NAPA SUCKS. Which they do all auto parts stores have your information. I will never buy anything from Napa again and will tell all my friends. Very disappointed bought 2 sets of snow chains and didn't need the after all. Now Napa in Downey is telling me I can't rerun them cause I bought them from a unincorporated store. How am I suppose to know it wasn't a unincorporated store. Yet the store I bought them from told us we could return them at any napa as long as they were not opened and I have the receipt. Yet they won't take them back. Sorry independent or not NAPA is NAPA right! So they called me back after speaking to the DM and they are going to refund me the money. very unprofessional manager lacks courtesy and skills in costumer service will never buy anything there anymore. went there to return one of three parts for an AC compressor when, installing the unit we found out that one of the three parts was not the right component. This manager instead of admitting that they made a mistake, she wanted me to return items that had already been install in order to give me credit for the wrong part. we had to engage in a big argument before she admitted that I was right and to finally give me the partial credit. I have never experienced such a horrible customer service. she needs to get a job in a different field, she's not up to the job. read more

Horrible doing business here!! Their Return Policy is bad, they will not allow you to return a regular purchase at just any store... they sent me to their District location or the location of purchase. To top it off, I go to the "District" location/Store and they clearly state online and outside the door that closing time is at 4:00pm... I get there 10mins prior only to find he doors and store COMPLETELY closed!!! If the "DISTRICT" office plays hookie, what can I expect of their employees, not a serious business. This is the first time I purchase at this auto store and I promise it will be the LAST!!! read more
