After leaving the previous review, the manager, Kevan, reached out and said to contact his service director Juan Prado, so I did so. Suffice to say that he asked me to bring the truck in and give them a chance to make things right. I dropped off the truck yesterday for a complimentary detail, and would have had it back same day but opted to have them take care of a recall at the same time when my service advisor Raymond pointed out there was one pending. He did say they would probably need to keep it over night, so no sweat. Free Lyft was provided home and back too. Well I just picked it up and it looks amazing! I'm honestly stoked to just look at it again and that is a great feeling. I have to say, in reference to my previous review, mistakes happen. We all make them. What really defines a person, and a business, is how one responds to those mistakes and what steps are taken to rectify them. As far as I'm concerned these guys handled this situation with grace and professionalism. They weren't the ones directly responsible for the previous fiasco, but they stepped up and made it right no questions asked. As far as I'm concerned we are square. Maybe more importantly from a business perspective, after seeing how they handle things, my confidence in them has been restored and I will be happy to have my truck serviced here in the future. Truly one of the most dishonest dealerships I've ever visited--and as a car enthusiast, I've been to far more dealerships than the average buyer. The store manager, Kia (if I'm spelling his name correctly), was the primary reason for this review. To be clear, we were not window shopping. We knew exactly what we were looking for and were fully prepared to purchase the right vehicle. We are currently in the market for either a Ford F-250/350 or a GMC Sierra 2500/3500HD Denali Ultimate, which led us to visit this dealership. We visited twice. On our first visit, we asked to see a few trucks. The salesperson was polite enough, but he knew very little about the vehicles and repeatedly relied on his phone to answer basic questions--information we could have looked up ourselves. More notably, we were never offered a test drive. By comparison, the GMC dealership down the street had us behind the wheel within ten minutes of arriving. We returned a second time after being referred to a different salesperson. This experience started off much better. We were finally able to test drive a truck, and the salesperson was professional and courteous. However, the information we received about the vehicle quickly became questionable. We were told that a 2025 F-350 King Ranch with approximately 4,600 miles had been repossessed after the previous owner installed roughly $15,000 worth of upgrades. The truck is currently advertised as "NEW." Naturally, this raised concerns because if the vehicle had been previously registered to an owner, it would not typically qualify as new under California law. We were then handed off to the sales manager, Kia, to discuss pricing. From the moment he approached us, his demeanor was unnecessarily aggressive. During our conversation, we asked about the mileage and were then given an entirely different explanation. We were told the truck had actually been stolen from the dealership and later recovered. Kia claimed the dealership had reimbursed the individual responsible for the upgrades. That explanation made little sense. According to him, the person who made the modifications was never the registered owner, the truck had been stolen, and the responsible party for the upgrades, THE THIEF, was directly reimbursed $15,000 for the upgrades by the dealer. The story simply did not add up. Regardless, we attempted to move the conversation forward and discuss pricing. Given that the truck has 4,600 miles, visible cosmetic issues, and a highly unusual history, we asked what any reasonable buyer would ask: whether there was flexibility on the MSRP. That question seemed to trigger an immediate and disproportionate reaction. Kia became visibly upset and began raising his voice. We were trying to have a straightforward discussion about depreciation and value. At no point did we make an unreasonable offer. In fact, he abruptly stated that he wasn't going to sell the truck for $80,000--a number neither of us had ever mentioned. He then shook our hands and walked away from the conversation. I briefly pointed out that the mileage, theft history, and cosmetic imperfections made it difficult to justify full MSRP. That only seemed to anger him further. As we walked back to our vehicle, we observed him complaining about us to his sales staff. He specifically mentioned that we had pointed out the peeling vinyl on the running boards. Of course we did. If a vehicle is being marketed and priced as new, why wouldn't a buyer mention visible cosmetic defects along with the other concerns? Complete unprofessionalism- throwing a tantrum with his sales guys. The unfortunate reality is that Kia has neither the temperament nor the professionalism that customers should expect from someone in a management role. I've spent most of my life purchasing imports, but my husband wanted a truck, which is what brought us here. What surprised me most was not the vehicle itself, but how poorly the dealership was managed and how differently we were treated compared to other dealerships in the area. This is not a Ford-versus-GMC issue. The difference in professionalism and customer service between this dealership and GMC down the street was night and day. If you're shopping for a truck, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on our experience, the explanations were inconsistent, the sales tactics were questionable, and management was unprofessional. Tustin Ford puts this place to shame. I welcome dealership management to respond and explain or dispute any of the factual events described above. read more

Do NOT take your vehicle here unless it's for scheduled maintenance for the warranty. I took my truck here for a simple engine diagnostic check which cost $234. The tech says, "We have a lot of cars here and our techs are very busy, do you mind if it takes about a month?" I said fine. Then I receive a call that they're going to put my truck up for a lien sale. So I immediately came down and they charged me an additional $250. I really like this dealership, which is why I'm disappointed to have to leave this feedback. I brought my Bronco in for an oil change and routine service, including an air filter inspection. When I asked the service advisor about the air filter, I was told the technician had inspected it and that it was in good condition. That surprised me because I've recently been on several beginner off-road trails, and even the service manager commented that he was surprised the filter was supposedly still clean. After leaving the dealership, I noticed my tire pressures were exactly the same as when I arrived, which made me question whether everything on the inspection had actually been completed. I also noticed a burning smell, which I initially assumed was spilled oil. When I got home, I found oil on various parts of the engine compartment. I then checked the air filter myself and found that it was dirty--not "fine" as documented. At that point, I lost confidence in the entire service and had to return to the dealership. The dealership apologized, and I appreciate that, but this should have been done correctly the first time. My time is valuable, and I shouldn't have to make a second trip because the work wasn't completed properly. This also wasn't a particularly busy day in the service department, so it's difficult to understand how these issues were missed. My biggest concern is that the inspection appears to have been documented as completed when it was not. I hope management addresses this with the technician to ensure inspection reports are accurate and that this doesn't happen to other customers. Going forward, I'll be checking all work performed on my vehicle before leaving the dealership, which unfortunately is not the level of trust I expected. 1 star for service tech not the service manager. read more

After leaving with a car that looked like it needed new tires but was told they "passed rigorous inspection" because it was a CPO, I left and within that month almost had a horrific car accident with my 3 children in the car. I found out, after visiting 3 tire locations and the AAA driver who changed my flat, that my tires were so low in tread they should NEVER have let it off the lot in that condition. Well, I immediately did what anyone would do and reached out stating that I was almost in an accident on a 2 lane highway with a tire that ripped in 3 locations (not due to running anything over or getting a nail etc) it literally ripped apart on the sidewall where the rubber doesn't meet the road.... I called and let Josh know (he sold us vehicle and I felt he would be the best contact) and he told us over and over he would help and get us in contact with the manager. After over a month we finally heard from the Manager, Ed. He was completely dismissive and unhelpful stating that I needed to drive 3 hrs to the dealership (after I sent a very detailed long email stating I live in Palm Springs and can't come back....he kept saying "bring the tires in and let me see". I told him 3 times in each email that they took the tires away when they replaced them because I was told "these are dangerous and will do this again you need to replace". So I did..... but yet he didn't read one word of what I said just said "I need to see them...." Since the pictures and receipt of me getting new tires and the tread level wasn't enough. I spent $2,000 to get 4 new tires ONE MONTH after leaving this dealership. That is INSANE!!!! It had 39,000 miles when I bought it and I had this happen with 40,000 miles on the car..... I drove to kids school and back.....nothing crazy and had to pay out of pocket to be safe in a new car. And no help whatsoever from them. Then if that wasn't enough..... when I drove my car home from Cerritos I heard this horrible squeaking with my brakes. I thought that was so so weird and not normal that a CPO car I just thought would have squeaky breaks. I also let Josh know but that was just as useless as contacting the manager. I wasn't helped and decided to just tell the FORD/ Lincoln car dealership out here about it since my car immediately notified me it needed a maintenance. Mind you, this is after buying it 2 months ago..... so clearly it wasn't done before purchase in detail like it should have been. I take it to the dealership out by me in Palm Springs. The manager said that it's very odd to have any squeaking breaks after an inspection and me only driving it for 2 months. I told him it has been doing it non-stop and I barely have driven the car and my Mercedes I had for 10 plus years NEVER had a brake replacement or rotor in the entire life of the car...... so to hear them say that this car needed new a new rotor!!!! I was beside myself x they said it was crazy that they had to replace a rotor on a car this new and with so little miles. Again, this dealership sold me a car without a proper inspection and did NOTHING about it. I am now going to file a complaint with BBB and seek a lawyer regarding this dealership and the shadiness of their selling and lack of response to a woman with children who have been put in danger due to their negligence. With just this happening in 2 months the fear I have driving it that something else is missed gives me never ending anxiety. I would RUN to anywhere but here if you want to ensure you are getting a safe and reliable vehicle. I have a large TikTok following and haven't done a video like this in the past but I feel so strongly that they need to be called out. I want to add that I texted and emailed and was so patient and understanding for months waiting for a response or for ANYONE to care or take action. I want a more detailed inspection and all the paperwork and people held accountable for this. I want the money I forked over for these tires just to be safe driving a month after purchase. I have never complained like this about any dealership or person because I ALWAYS want to give the benefit of the doubt but this has been a NIGHTMARE for me and my family. On Friday 2/27/28 I found a PRE-Owned Ford Explorer at Norm Reeves Ford in the Cerritos Auto Square online that I was interested in purchasing so I requested more information. A very short time later I received a call to discuss the car. A short time after that I received another call from a Sales Manager named Shon to set up an appointment to view the car. I made an appointment to meet on Sunday 3/1/23 at 1:00 with Jaeda Lopez with a text confirmation from Shon. On Sunday morning Shon called me to confirm the appointment and I replied that I would be there. After a 45 minute 25 mile drive from my home in the southern end of Redondo Beach I arrived for my meeting and when I asked to see the vehicle I was informed that it had been sold on Saturday night. Wow! Shon should have told me that Sunday morning when he called to confirm the appointment! I knew what cars they had in stock and I was not interested in any of them. Since I was there a sales girl showed my three other Explorers that did not have the features on it that the the car that I went to view did have. The sales girl (who was a terrible listener) didn't seem to know anything about their cars but kept trying to sell me cars that were not what I was looking for. When I asked to test drive one of the Explorers so I could get a feel for the ride she denied me that request because I wasn't interesteed in buying any of them. When she was going into another room to check on my appraisal for my car I asked her for some water. She gave me directions to a vending machine. One would think that after driving all that way to see a car that Shon did not inform me had been sold, they would at least give some one a courtesy bottle of water. The bottom line is after a 2 1/2 hour 50 mile round trip that whole incident turned out to be a total BAIT AND SWITCH scam. Shon sucks! read more

Stopped by today to look at the Ranger Raptor they had listed on their website. When I arrived at the dealership, a gentleman asked if I needed help, and I told him I wanted to see the Ranger Raptor. He told me to stand by. When he came back, he said the truck was in their offsite lot and would need to be brought over, and asked me to come inside the office to wait. I politely declined and explained that I didn't have much time to sit around while they fetched the truck. I usually like to look at the car first, think about it, and then come back (often the same day) to purchase if I'm serious. My demeanor was completely nice and respectful the entire time. Out of nowhere, the gentleman asked me, "Then why are you here?" I told him again that I just didn't have the time at the moment but could come back later since I live locally. He then made a dismissive "go away" gesture with his hands and walked off. Yup. Definitely won't be coming back. Talk about a first impression. read more

I will never go back to this place. in 2021 I preordered by Maverick and waited 1 yr for it. Since these little trucks were in high demand, they told me they were adding an additional 6 months of payment making my terms to 5.5 years rather than 5. They would not negotiate and I caved in. 2 years later I saw my contract, and it was for 6 years. They totally lied and cheated. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Since the very beginning I had issue connecting my phone to the truck for GPS/Music, calls etc., They always told me to wait for a recall. Now the truck is out of warranty, and they now found the solution, and I have to pay $500 for the repair since I'm out of warranty and they are telling me there is no record of this issue in the past. I am SO happy I traveled the little bit of extra distance over here to Norm Reeves. So worth it. Their customer service is outstanding. You are greeted immediately upon arrival. There are people hustling everywhere on site. The rep in person provided me with an estimate on the timing required to diagnose the issue with my car that was actually consistent with what the scheduler had indicated over the phone. (This was all I wanted from my previous service center that I've now divorced after 2 instances of miscommunication between their departments.) They offer rides. They even offer remote pick up of the vehicle. They communicate really clearly throughout the process. Car's fixed. Issue is gone. This is officially our new service center. read more

Back in 2017, my son and I purchased our vehicles from Norm Reeves Ford. We both took our vehicles in for service to Norm Reeves Ford for covered warranty service and or manufacture recalls. At the time of my first service appointment, I met Rafael Gonzales, who was a shuttle driver at the time for Norm Reeves Ford. Eventually, he promoted and became a Service Technician / Customer Service Rep. Rafael has ALWAYS provided a high level of professionalism, respect, courtesy, knowledge and integrity, which have made my son's visit and mine a positive and enjoyable visit. Now when I stated "ALWAYS." I am being sincere without any embellishment whatsoever. Rafael epitomizes what a true customer service experience is all about. We often hear slogans about the customer is always right, we are here for you and so on. However, their ultimate goal is to get your money , thank you and send you on your way. God forbid you have a complaint because it is like "pulling teeth" just to go through the complaint process, much less trying to get a resolution on your concern. In my son's and my dealings with Rafael, we have NEVER experienced any inconveniences. Further, if something does happen to be amiss, Rafael takes it upon himself to rectify the inconvenience. The ONLY reason my son and I continue to have our vehicle's serviced at Norm Reeves Ford is because of Rafael! There are other Ford dealers nearby which we can use, however we choose not to. Nowadays, we hear about the negatives and rarely about the positives. As I sometimes express the negatives, I firmly believe that the positives should also come to light! If you are one of those customers that utilizes Norm Reeves Ford to have your vehicle serviced and there is doubt about what I have just stated, give Rafael Gonzalez the opportunity to assist you with your vehicle's service needs and you will see for yourself. I'm writing to share my experience with Norm Reeves Ford Superstore in Cerritos, California following a recent vehicle purchase. On February 11, 2026, I purchased a Mini Cooper Coupe S from the dealership. About a week later, I was pulled over by Newport Beach Police and informed that the vehicle's exhaust system was excessively loud and appeared to be straight piped. I was advised that this setup could result in a state referee inspection and that, under California law, a dealership should not sell a vehicle that does not meet proper exhaust requirements. I promptly contacted the dealership to address the issue. After explaining the situation, they asked me to bring the vehicle back for inspection. Given the circumstances, I requested that the car be towed rather than driven, which they accommodated. Upon inspection, the dealership confirmed that the vehicle was indeed straight piped. They initially proposed installing an aftermarket "muffler only" through their own shop, but I declined, as I preferred an OEM-compliant solution. I was told that sourcing and installing an OEM system would take over a week. Instead, we agreed that I would handle the repair myself and be reimbursed. The vehicle was returned to me on February 26, 2026, and I had the proper exhaust system installed on February 28, 2026. I promptly submitted documentation, including invoices and photos, confirming the completed work. I did not receive a response until March 4, when I was told the reimbursement would be processed. Since then, communication has been extremely inconsistent. I followed up via email on March 17 and March 19 with no response. I also left a voicemail on March 20 and received no reply. On March 23, I finally spoke with a representative who assured me I would receive an update by the morning of March 24, which did not occur. While I understand that occasional delays can happen, the lack of timely communication and follow-through in resolving this matter has been frustrating. This situation--stemming from a vehicle being sold in a non-compliant condition--should have been handled more efficiently and with greater urgency. At this point, I am simply seeking clear communication and resolution. I hope the dealership takes steps to improve both their quality control on vehicle sales and their responsiveness when addressing customer concerns. read more

My car lost acceleration and stalled. We had it towed to Norm Reeves, and it took 2 weeks to come up with a diagnosis. They said the key fobs were bad, but I had already replaced them, and they were still under warranty. Then they changed the diagnosis to a body control module, and replaced it for $1100. They said the car was ready and I picked it up and got 3 miles away on the freeway when it lost acceleration again. I had to coast through 2 lanes of traffic to get to the shoulder. It was towed back and the next day they had the real diagnosis of transmission control module, which was also under warranty. It was fixed the next day. I asked for the money back on the repair that didn't fix the problem, and after 3 months of attorneys and the Bureau of Automotive Repairs involvement, they returned half of my money. read more

Took my vehicle to Norm Reeves recently after having failed attempts with another dealer and the difference was NIGHT AND DAY! Was helped by advisor Rafael, amazing experience!! Rafael communicated every step of the way along the diagnosis and got my vehicle in and out in record time! The other dealer had my vehicle for a period of over 2 months!
