Fun little spot in Kapa'a that serves brewpub style food. If you're looking for more brewery styled menu this is the spot for you. We tried a variety of the food items- pulled pork sliders which were great with either the bbq or chipotle aioli, the french fries, pretzel with beer cheese, chicken plate. The max and cheese was just okay and the music was a little too loud even being seated by the door so if live music isn't your thing ask to be seated in the other room. We had a great family dinner at Napali Brewing! After a long day of sightseeing, we were looking for a place that fed everyone with no drama. Fortunately this fit our needs exactly. We were seated immediately with no wait. Service was prompt and kind, and the food met everyone's needs (kids to grandmothers). The adults indulged in libations and the kids found items they wanted, ate, AND enjoyed! I had a delicious poke bowl which I had been wanting since I arrived. Ordered the Mac and cheese with bacon and smoked meat, smoked meat was like a pork sausage cut up on it. Not worth the extra $6. Mac and cheese had way too much garlic powder in it and over powered the Mac and cheese. Everyone's meal was just so so. Beer was awesome . Cocktails were expensive. Not impressed due to service. Place was quite empty, but staff wouldn't let us sit at bar without waiting for 15 minutes (bar seats completely empty). Plenty of staff standing around with nothing to do. Once seated, we had to order, then were rushed to close out our tab. When it came to ordering beer, asked for suggestions and the girl server had an attitude and would offer no help. It was obvious they were not wanting to be hospitable this particular day. We decided to leave because we were asked to close our check and did not feel welcome. Keeping in mind it was in the afternoon, not near closing time. Beer was satisfactory, but would prefer great service with it. Will not be back and would not recommend. This place does have potential if can figure out customer service. read more

Amazing beers, you really now how to brew a true west coast IPA. Food was really good had the ceviche lupus and Hulu Hulu chicken. One word of advice it was like pulling teeth to get your bartender to talk. I noticed people ate drank and were gone in minutes. I know locals are important, but is mainlanders spend the bucks. With that said amazing job you guys, you rival any brewery on the mainland with your beers and food. We will be back and tell our friends about you guys. Went to try this place tonight and let me tell you, IT WAS NOT THE VIBE. Kitchen was closed for 35 mins when we got there, no discount on drinks to compensate. Took 10 minutes to just get our beer order going. Once the kitchen opened we ordered the ceviche as an appetizer. We literally payed $22 for four wonton chips with a tiny bit of fish on each one. It was incredibly salty and really didn't want to eat it, but felt like we had to because it was so expensive. My lady got the fish and chips, was a big portion and tasted great. I got the waygu burger, kinda expected better for the price. In the 30 minutes it took us to eat our food, we never got checked on once. My lady also had to go up to the bar just to ask for some waters. Wouldn't recommend to any visitors. Go to food trucks and save some money. read more

Nepali brewing is a must try when visiting Kauai! The atmosphere is spacious and modern with TV's and music. Service is chill and friendly. Great beer selection and full bar. Location and atmosphere is great. We really enjoyed the environment and noise level. The beers were good. We did a flight of all 6 on tap. I really liked the IPA and the Hella. We ordered the pretzel. For $14 I would not recommend. The pretzel is more of toasted bread no flavor to it. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts which were really good. We got the taro burger, the fish and chips, and the brussel sprouts. Both the burger and the fish and chips were great, yummy and filling. The brussel sprouts were not very good. Overcooked and I would have preferred if the sauce was covering the sprouts versus just on top. And the cheese was completely unnecessary and slightly weird. There was also extremely long wait times for food. It took 40 min to get seated, and then another 30-40 to get our food once ordered. The wait staff was nice about it and let us know it was going to be a wait, but they said it was due to a small/slow kitchen. Seems like they might just need an upgrade. Napali Brewing is one of the newest in Hawaii as of this writing, and last of those currently open I have visited. If you know me, I love going to breweries. There's a special thrill about going to new ones, especially brand new ones to the world as Napali Brewing. We had a mixed first experience, but I believe with time to develop business practices and beer, this will be a great beer addition to Kauai and Hawaii in general. This is one of the most beautiful breweries around: it's clearly a redone restaurant but every detail inside is to their taste. Clean wood tables and bar tops; high ceilings and wood beams, and the plants - I just loved how verdant the whole taproom felt. Behind the bar are large windows looking inside their brewery, clearly they have the capacity for so much more in the future. Restrooms were new and super clean. A large selection of merchandise was in the door as well. A few things to work on: The staff wasn't friendly nor attentive, the game on was more interesting which led us to leave much faster than we thought we would. Beer glasses weren't fully clean, which was surprising for being so new. It felt that to the staff working that day, beer didn't matter at all. The beer is why I went. As of our visit, I got to try 5 and they were all good; a solid start. They had a lot of lighter beers, which showcases good brewing practices. It'll be fun to visit again in a few months and see all the new styles, as they clearly have the capacity to serve many different beers. Prices were reasonable on their beers, but expensive for the others currently filling the void. We also skipped ordering food as we didn't feel like staying longer. Maybe next time! read more

Lightly battered huge pieces of ono. Slaw was perfect. A bit on the heavy side so you'll leave very full. I usually leave breweries with a t shirt. I get asked about them when I wear them out. It's good marketing for the places I visit. Unfortunately, they are out of shirts! I can't talk about because I'll be wearing some other breweries shirt! Highly recommend. What an awesome pub! Opened in May 2023. Really nice place to hang and a great selection of beers, brewed on location. The interior is all wood, with a large number of sturdy tables, which can accommodate many large groups. They also have a large number of plants hanging from the rafters, giving the place an almost homey feel. Great wait staff too. I had the seasonal Octoberfest. Great beer. My sister got the Helles, and brother-in-law got the Lager. All great beers. Food is mostly pub fare. We got the Hapa Fries, mixed potato and sweet potato, quite tasty. We also got the pretzel bread with the beer cheese dip. OMG! Was that good. Napali's definitely a place to hang, have beers and munchies. Now my favorite brew pub in Kapa'a. We happened into Napali Brewing to rest and eat during a driving tour on Kauai. The beer certainly did the trick, and the service was excellent. This stop is easy to find and has ample parking. Plus, it's location on the south side of Kapa'a is a pleasant walk from Lydgate beach Park. Finding a Schwarzbier on Kauai wasn't on our bingo card for this vacation, and yet we checked the box with this awesome brew. Plus, a great conversation with the owners, who told us how they founded the brewery and put their Aloha spirit into its operations, solidified this as "the" place we want to revisit when we're next on Kauai. read more
