Crap cakes are so so good!!!!! The portion is large and there is virtually no filler! The only retraction is parking can be a smidge difficult.

While service is friendly, you're kind of on your own. Kids & I opted to sit outside - service might be better inside. Mac & cheese was delicious, per my kiddos. I personally loved the potato salad! We didn't care for the fresh squeezed juice.

Husband had a pretty great experience here trying beers and I enjoyed good service and the chicken tenders and fries were pretty dang delicious! A few TVs to watch sports, bar seating as well as a good number of tables and booths. Large menu and they also pair up with local food trucks some evenings during the week. Servers were attentive and made sure we were taken care of.

Friendly staff, quick service, easy ordering, and great tasting food. Ambiance is cool and feels a little hidden. So have to rely on your trusty yelp directions. We ordered the ono fish plate, fries, and smash burgers. Both dishes tasted great. If you are a beer drinker, taste all that they offer with their flight samplers.

Wow, this place is amazing. We kind of ended up here on a whim. We were looking for somewhere to get breakfast/brunch and saw Kauai Beer Company had both beer, breakfast and the football games my husband wanted to watch. I ended up getting a hibiscus mule which wasn't too sweet. My husband got a nice beer. He got the croissant sandwich and I got the mushroom toast. Both were amazing! We were surprised at great the food was. We definitely will come back during the time that we are in Kauai.

Sad to see this one go...great beers from a solid brewmaster. Enjoyed spending time with the team before they close their place down. Their Beer Co IPA was amazing!

Solid spot to try right after landing in Lihue! The beer was tasty and the food was better than expected. I don't explore this area much whenever I visit but the location is nice and has a lot of outdoor seating. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

Amazing beer, food and service! The Brussels sprouts are amazing - they offer. Behind burger which made us happy as two vegans! Very fun place

This place is great! The inside is bare bones and open concept. It very much feels like a bar with a few tables thrown in the mix. It's awesome -- perfect for people who want a casual meal or have kids that might scream and disturb others. We ordered and paid our bill on the tablet -- super simple and efficient. If you needed a server, they had a little card you could raise to get some assistance. The food was delicious. My sticky rib special was really good, but only 4-5 bones and a heaping serving of mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. I would have wanted more ribs and less sides. See the photo I took... My daughter loved her grilled cheese -- tasted like Swiss and American cheese. The smash burger wasn't really "smashed," but it was delicious. Their special sauce might be tartar sauce, not thousand island. My wife loved her fish tacos, but I don't sample. The pretzel was great -- including a delicious pub cheese and honey mustard. We didn't drink, but the beer selection had many local brews. Thanks for a great meal KBC!

    Chiili Cheese Fries

We had lunch here yesterday. Pretty plain setting, open dining area, casual and clean. I had: Philly Cheeseteak (3.5/5) - Standard cheesesteak with decent flavors but a bit dry. Portion size a bit small. The side of slaw was okay. Chilli Cheese Fries (2/5) - Not so good. Looks like they don't really have chilli, so they threw on some meat patties and a can of beans as their interpretation. Not successful. The regular fries that come as a side to the entrees are actually very good, so I recommend not paying extra to have these good fries ruined.

There is only one brewery on the island of Kauai, but there is more diversity in beer styles here than any of the breweries on the other islands. Justin Gerber is the owner and head brewer. And what he has going on here would be just as good any where in the world.  I would come back to Hawaii just to drink this beer. THE BEERS: Jerry's Rice Lager 6.8% ABV... tastes like a cream ale, smooth, creamy and slightly boozy Lihue Lager 4.5% ABV... all day drinker, typical Lager with a pilsner finish, if you like Miller, this will suffice Black Limousine schwarzbier 5% ABV... malty and delicious, IBUs are low.  I have had this same beer, but stronger and this was way better. Totally crushable! Austrian Chicken Vienna Lager 6.4% ABV... I was very surprised by this all day beer. Tropical Armadillo Oatmeal Pale Ale 6.2% ABV... here is the description: rolled oats give this beer a creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Dry hopped with citra and Amarillo hops. Beer Co. IPA 7.3% ABV... this is an easy drinking, well balanced IPA.  About my favorite. Kokobopo oak aged porter 6.8% ABV... you can taste the bourbon and oak, this has a coconut finish. Sleeping Giant 2023 American Barleywine 9.3% ABV... this is not an all day drinker, but definitely a keeper.  Smooth, not boozy for a high ABV. and wonderfully drinkable. There is food here. Didn't get to try any of it, but one of the patrons said the beer battered fries are killer.  Liked this brewery the best in my visit to Hawaii.

We went to Kauai beer company when we arrived in Kauai. Great beer and awesome bartender, Jesse. Went back at the end of our week and Jesse was working and remembered us! Had another great time at the bar trying their selection. Bought some shirts and will definitely be back the next time we are in Kauai! Mahalo!

    Brussels sprouts
    Tahs L.

This place was good for an open spot near the resorts but the burger I received had so much sauce on it, it was a bit overwhelming. The service was very friendly though. It was hard going with a large group and ordering due to the online menu and ordering sticker which is great for a younger generation but can be challenging for those that have a hard time using their phone and a bit older. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite part so definitely try those if you love Brussels sprouts. The root beer I got was also very watery so maybe it was just the end of the day and I got the last of it or it wasn't balanced that day.

    Smash burger--yum!!!

Can this place accommodate 12 ppl? And do they take reservations?? I called a couple times and no one answers

Yes, for sure inside. There are lots of tables inside, so you could push them together. Outside might be a little challenging, but if it's not too busy, it could work out.

    Hi! Are kids allowed?

    Yes

Can we bring our own food?

Hi thanks for your question! We do not allow outside food in our food establishment. Thank you for asking!

Do you have a trivia night?

Sorry, we don’t have a trivia night. But Rob’s down the street does on Thursdays at 7:30 pm!

Keep in mind the front desk is on the opposite side of the restaurant as the bay. We started with ahi sashimi which has become standard at all the restaurants we eat at in Hawaii. LOL. My wife ordered the ahi tuna tacos. I ordered the coconut ginger braised seafood. It has multiple types of fresh fish of the day with lobster. The sauce is just perfect. Filling and flavorful. In the end they gave the hula pie for free for our anniversary. So kind! The twisted version was a mango sorbet. We missed the twisted version with the cookie dough. We ordered the original. Damn it was good. How can you go wrong with hot fudge and ice cream!

It's located at the beautiful Kilohana Plantation, so even if you're not a big rum drinker, it's worth visiting. You can wander through the gardens, stop by the sweet shop, grab a bite at Gaylord's Restaurant, or catch the luau. It's just a really nice place to spend an afternoon. It's highly recommend making a reservation online. However we couldn't book online, but we called about an hour before and were able to get in. I also had no idea the tasting itself was complimentary, which made the experience even better. Our Rumtender, Randy, was awesome! He walked us through the history of Kōloa Rum, explained each variety, and shared his favorite ways to enjoy them. It felt more like chatting with a friend than sitting through a tasting. Safe to say we were convinced--we ended up bringing home two bottles! I will not explain because that is part of the experience and they do it much better. Friendly staff. No pressure. After the tasting, they offered to take pictures and answer questions.
