Multiple employees walk around doing nothing while only one person actually assists customers. Even people with appointments get stuck waiting. The sales pitch always makes it sound like the phone is basically free -- just a small monthly payment -- but surprise fees show up on the next bill that were never mentioned. This has happened to me multiple times. Whenever I have questions about my account or billing, they refuse to help and just tell me to call customer service. Other customers waiting in line look just as frustrated as I am. And when people leave negative reviews, the manager always replies with the same generic, copy-and-paste response you see everywhere: "customer service is our top priority", "we have high standards" and "we strive for excellence." It feels completely scripted and changes nothing. Many customers seem to be having the same disappointing experience. Once I find a way to close my line or switch to another carrier, I will do it in a heartbeat.

Ended up taking the devices home to set them up there (since I was in the store so long). Nothing works or pairs correctly. Price information on the receipt vs what I was told do not match. Back the next day for another hour. Still no success with the pairing/set-up. I'm told ONLY the original agent can assist with my incorrect bill and "we'll put you in the waiting que and you can sit on the couch" Because I am frustrated all the fake nice workers are now super short with me. Gone are the smiles. No body can offer an explanation. Nobody can apologize. Ended up leaving with NOTHING RESOLVED. Worst experience. Avoid. No accountability. Manager apparently hiding in the back office.

I continue to be impressed by their installers, their customer support staff, and their ever-improving offerings. Just today, I received a free speed and equipment upgrade, combined with a reduced monthly fee, as part of a company initiative. This continues a long-established pattern of continual improvements, something Valley Internet really seems committed to. Because rural broadband pricing and speed have historically lagged urban& suburban options, I have frequently explored other providers, but every time I ended up keeping this superior service. And my Circle Oaks neighbors seem to agree overwhelmingly.

The employees need to understand that when they are mumbling data speak to customers, that... 1. The music in the store is too loud and distracting. It's hard to understand you. Don't just tell me stuff. Answer me clearly. 2. I don't speak data speak/T-Mobile speak. Please explain your terms, don't just repeat them. You went to school to learn these terms. I didn't. I'm just a normal guy off the street. 3. Turn off the ringing phone alarms that are signaling a phone is out of place. I know that you are all used to working with phone alarms going off. To me, that is a distraction. 4. Tell me ahead of time that the process is going to take well over two hours. I could have scheduled out the time, instead of being told that I could take a walk and come back later. You would complain if you ordered dinner and then had to wait two hours to be served. That's how I felt. Corporate management needs to train their employees to be more than salesmen and technical advisers. Courtesy and respect would go a long way in bringing back customers.

I had been seriously interested in having Internet service here on the mountain for a number of…read moreyears, but until I was diagnosed with cancer, the landlord didn't want it. I needed the Internet to keep up with the latest treatments, view online medical seminars, stay in touch with care providers and concerned friends, and look up research and information. Previously, I had considered two other companies, but I was unhappy with the way their customer service worked with me. It was only until a neighbor mentioned Valley of the Moon (noting that some of my trusted friends used VOM, too) that I decided to give them a call. Best move I could have made. David and his brother, Michael, came out, met my landlord, evaluated what was needed and came back as soon as they had what they needed. They installed it and I've had no problem. What REALLY impressed me was their honesty and fair play. That is so hard to find in today's "dog eat dog" economy. They were affordable even with my limited budget and they had no usage restrictions like the other companies. This had made my life easier, less stressful and I can move forward.
