After only 5 years a wall was buckling and that area of the floor was sinking. They quickly diagnosed that this was due to insufficient drainage. The recommendation was to rebuild the wall, add drainage and level the flooring. Other contractors wanted to basically rebuild the entire patio which would have been overkill. They right sized my project and priced their work fairly. My kitchen overlooks the area they were working. So throughout the day I could see their diligence and attention to detail. It was quite a task, especially the removal of the original adhesive but the were total pros. I was apprehensive as to how using what was there would work out but it turned out as good as new and I could not be happier! I can already see being a repeat customer!

Accepted their offer, never got communication on when they were coming, some guys just showed up one day and started the spring cleanup. About halfway done, they told me it was going to be twice the cleanup and almost twice the mulch needed to complete the job, and the entire job would be 35% higher than they originally estimated. I didn't enjoy being given one price, then being given a higher price once the work started. I ended up letting another company do the mulch installation and edging. They did a good job with the spring cleanup, but ended up paying 55% more for the spring cleanup than what I was originally quoted. I gave them the opportunity to finish the job if they matched their competitors price, but they couldn't do it.

We did have some "wants" on our list which included a natural gas firepit, natural gas line for grill, seating for ~6-8 people, and enough room for entertain with some food, drinks, and a nice place to relax. From the start to the finish, Grant and Power was completely different than the other companies. Other locations just met you outside, what you wanted, and how big. Then we got a quote. However, when I contacted Grant and Powers, they started out with an email with some essential information like their insurance, a pamphlet and other information to get us started. We talked about what we were looking and then waited for our appointment Our appointment was different. Instead of going outside and talking about size... Gene sat us down to talk to us. He wanted to know what we wanted, what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend. We told him about how we were going to use the space and what we wanted and gave him our budget. Afterwards we talked about modern trends and what designs are in/out, how we wanted to place everything. Then off he went with the rest of the team to start designing it after a small down payment. He asked about budget and we talked about how much it might cost, but of course, the final bill could vary depending on the design. A few weeks later, we had another appointment where he showed us the design and it was amazing. They really sat down and listened to what we wanted because it looked amazing. The budget was completely out of our range.. granted, we knew our budget was on the low side of things, but they were willing to work with us to make this affordable. Finally, our day arrived. We got a call the night before that they were arriving in the morning to get started. During the process, the team were good...i would give them a 4.5/5 for a few minor things.They did talk to us a few times but I wish we were updated better. They were good about protecting our lawn even though some areas did suffer. Luckily (For us and them), our backyard had nothing out there. It was just bare land with green-ish grass. From start to finish, they were done in a week. We waited an extra day for another group of guys to show up to set up the firepit and show us how to use it. They were in and out fairly quickly. In the end, we got a beautiful patio. One section to entertain/eat. The other area is for the firepit and grill. Due to the design, they both feel separate from each other. We did find some minor damages that the team did not let me know or Gene. But he is going out of his way to making it right and I appreciate it. Ive had some neighbors stop by to marvel at the patio. Overall, if I were to ever move away, I would go back to this company to design a beautiful space again. I would completely recommend this company if you are looking for the same.

I contacted the company to replace much of my existing landscape and add two trees. I had to light…read morea fire under them to get them to get out here, they finally arrived two months after I gave them a $2000 deposit. They installed some pathetic looking, almost dead plants and left a garden that I wanted removed with old flowers and bushes, untouched. I wanted it replaced with sod. They also dug up much of my almost new Invisible Fence. They did not have one of the trees on the plan but "gave me one for free", which I did appreciate, however it was requested initially and never made it to the plan. Less than two weeks later weeds and several of the plants I had them remove were popping back up. When I called, emailed and texted my complaint about the plants that were in such bad shape, I heard nothing from the company. Finally, after 2 weeks of hounding them my salesman called and came out. He agreed with me and sent a crew out to remove the weeds and the sad looking bushes and add mulch and to finish the unfinished sod. The foreman did not see the sod portion of the job on the plan, it was not in the actual place on the plan where it was in the yard. That was about ten days ago and again no one will return my calls or emails or texts to finish the job. If you want a good job done on your landscaping, do not call Ware Landscaping, all they really care about is your money. I spent $8,000, they wouldn't even listen to my problem and I got a shoddy, incomplete job. Greg called, apologized and came over and a week later, got the job done and even gave me another tree for no charge. Greg stayed at the job during the process, even though he is a salesman, to make sure it got done right. I was satisfied in the end.

We hired this company three years ago to install a privacy screen consisting of 11 arborvitae and 9…read moreshrubs. Before the work began, 1 repeatedly asked for a layout so we could review the design, but never received one. Instead, I came home one day to find the project nearly completed. The arborvitae were planted on the sides and the shrubs in the center, leaving us with a clear view of a neighbor's shed and another neighbor's cluttered yard. We were assured the shrubs would eventually grow tall enough to provide privacy. Last year, we learned they only mature to about six feet, meaning they will never provide the screening we were led to expect-especially since our home sits at a higher elevation. Although the warranty has expired, we contacted the company hoping to pay for modifications and discussed additional landscaping and irrigation work we were considering. They sent someone out to evaluate the situation, but after that, communication stopped and our follow-up attempts have gone unanswered. The most disappointing part has been the lack of responsiveness. We made a significant investment and were prepared to hire them for additional work, yet we're left with a costly privacy screen that doesn't provide the privacy we wanted and no assistance in resolving the issue.
