I heard a lot of great things about this restaurant and was excited to try it! With it being by the capital the only real parking was in a near by parking garage. The ambiance was not what i was expecting for an upscale italian restaurant, it gave more of a family italian restaurant. Definitely not handicap accessible and the prices were higher than I thought appropriate. Some of what we ordered was amazing while others left us feeling like something was missing for the price we were paying. The tables were very close together and did not provide much privacy at all between tables. I would try again but with a different expectations going in.

I do have to start by saying that this probably wasn't their best work because it was Ironman weekend and they were very busy, but I was unimpressed tbh. We ordered the Loch Duart Salmone alla Puttanesca, they were out of salmon so they substituted it for shrimp. This dish I would not get again it was like bland spaghetti. Also ordered the rigatoni alla Salvatore which was better. Another member of our party ordered this as well and they looked like completely different dishes with different sauces so who knows. 2 people in our group ordered the pollo Salvatore and both did not like it, saying the chicken was quite dry, the pieces of bacon were fatty and there was not a lot of sauce. 1 person ordered a coke that never came. They did give us 2 Tiramisu 's for the long wait and that was the best part of the whole dinner tbh

Naples 15 was an amazing date night spot - they had the cutest decor for valentines and we sat right next to a piano! There was so many great menu options to choose from and our waiter was so helpful!

    My wifes favorite GF pizza.

Had a GREAT dining experience at Naples 15 - the atmosphere was like the restaurants we ate at when my wife and I visited Italy. Best part, my wife and I are gluten sensitive, they have really good GF pasta and pizza. Enjoy with a great selection of wine!!

Naples 15 - the best italian cousine in Madison

As an Italian, I can say that dining at Naples 15 was one of the most authentic experiences I've had in the United States. The flavors truly bring Naples to mind: real Neapolitan pizza, high-quality ingredients, and dishes prepared with genuine respect for Italian tradition. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, just like a good trattoria in Southern Italy. Finally, a restaurant that doesn't simply imitate Italian cuisine, but represents it authentically. NAPLES IN AMERICA!

This restaurant is an incredible experience with great food - win win! Highly recommend checking Naples 15 out. I'm surprised it doesn't have a higher rating on here and that many people I know who have lived in Madison for way longer than me had never even heard of it! I only discovered it when I specifically searched for nice restaurants that could accommodate both vegetarian and gluten-free restrictions. They were very accommodating - lots of Italian dishes can be vegetarian, and Naples 15 has most of their pastas with a gluten-free version. I came here for my birthday with a group of 5 and we all loved it. Our favorite dish was the buffalo pizza, which was surprising. It was so good though! This place has an old school vibe, dimly lit, candles, waiter service, you know the deal. It's right downtown (but we were able to find street parking nearby!). A good idea to call ahead to make a reservation, was pretty busy!

Where dreams have no end... thats what happens at Naples 15. That was the wine we were recommended by chef Salvatore. Was the most spectacular night of my life. The food and wine pairing was unbelievable.

The food, ambiance, service, wine, and everything was perfect. We had a really wonderful dinner in a packed restaurant on a cold winter evening. It was perfect a perfect night. The food is especially amazing.

Naples is always packed on a Friday night, make a reservation and come early!

The calamari and the lobster ravioli were both absolutely delish! I'd definitely go back to try a pizza or another pasta dish.

Italian food is much more than pizza. What is offered to eat besides pizza, which may be the best, and two salads?

Does Naples 15 still have gf pasta? It's noted in some reviews but they are years old and there's no indication on their menu or website.

Some of our party got the French toast which looked amazing and I'll probably try next time-- peaches and pecans with it! A few of them ordered bacon on the side too and it came with plenty of it, 3-4 long strips. Cannoli was the pastry I chose and it was the perfect sweet treat. Filling had cinnamon and was dipped in pistachios, which I will be back for! Ella was our server-- simply amazing! Super attentive, knows the menu like the back of her hand, and went above and beyond for us many times. Michael was one of the hosts who went out of his way to practically give us a photo shoot to capture my friend's special day. Beautiful restaurant with an elevated feel. Open environment while still making the table feel private. They were piping pastries while we were there which was fun to see. Went on a summer Saturday around 11, and if you're from Madison, you know that means the farmer's market (aka, make a plan A/B/C for parking, plan plenty of time to get there and be patient with the crowd outdoors).

I also love being in restaurants where they really bring in the traditions of the cuisine. For apps, we shared the eggplant fritters (which were amazing!), burrata and salad. For my main, I opted for the shrimp scampi with homemade pasta! I loved the homemade pasta! However, I felt the sauce was very light. I wish I could've ordered this pasta dish with the san marzano sauce. I think that would've made the flavor pop more for me. And for desserts, they were also incredible. Tiramisu, cannoli and the lemon sorbet! Highly recommend the lemon sorbet, was such a strong lemon flavor. Overall, definitely recommend in the Madison area, one of my favs so far!

My boyfriend's family and I came for a Sunday dinner and despite being a larger group, we were able to snag a table immediately. Don't let that fool you though - this place is popular and we seem to have gotten one of the last tables available. When it came to food and drinks, I got a white wine sangria, which I really liked, but it only came with an orange wedge on the side of the rim. I was disappointed because I was expecting fruit in the sangria. It wasn't a big deal, and was an okay drink. When it came to food, Lombardinos had a couple specials, one of which was a wood grilled broccoli and cauliflower appetizer, and their blueberry salad. We also got the calamari and olives. Overall, I really enjoyed all of the appetizers. We then all got our own entrées - unfortunately they were out of the veal entrée for some of our family members. I ended up getting the scallops which I thought were overcooked, and I didn't like the couscous that came with. It was too acidic and the roasted tomatoes that came with the couscous didn't help with the acidity levels. However, my boyfriend did share some of his crab and clam linguine. I really liked that dish, but they were out of clams as well, so it really was only a crab pasta. I hope they are able to offer their full menu in the future, because I think I would come back, but only if they had some of those dishes available.
