We ordered a Fusaro salad to start. The gentleman serving us suggested the salad was large enough for the three of us to split and brought us 3 salad bowls. The salad was plenty for the three of us. We ordered a pizza with black olives and green onions. We asked that the crust be crispy. The pizza came out just the way we like it. The service was prompt and polite. The restaurant is BYOB-bonus!! I love fusaro!! Always deliver fresh hot out of the oven. My favorite dish is the eggplant Parmesan and my second favorite is there Grandma pie. They are always so friendly and they know me since I'm a kid. It's a typical takeout style pizza place. I do think they can make the inside a little more cozy to eat in. read more

I called and ordered from the yelp app from this restaurant and pizzeria I wanted to get my hubby a nice eggplant and ricotta pie since he had surgery a few days ago and it is one of his favorites. The girl on the phone was nice and I thought the prices were reasonable even though the pies were 2" smaller When I went to pick it up instead of the 10.99 that was listed on the menu on yelp, she said it was over $27. OVER 150% more THAN LISTED! I showed her the url and she confirmed that was their phone. She called the owner. Now most would honor it and they would keep a loyal customer, even though they would tell you this is the only time. Not this owner, he told me to call the police. I told him gently and politely this wasn't the law. In fact it was called bait and switch Then I asked if he would like to split the difference. He said no. Please don't let this happen to you. Stick up for your rights! If my husband wasn't home alone after surgery I would have. I didn't want to give any stars. read more

This is my new favorite! I've been in Ocean Co for 20+ years and be never heard of Fusaro's in Manahawin! The locals must been keeping it a secret! Glad they opened in Forked River. Lemme tell ya the best thing about the Margarita pizza we tried. The sauce, it's all about the sauce, right? I see you nodding! Well it's not the watery, no taste, too salty, and pasty red stuff you sometimes find on pizza. No way, this sauce is like what you imagine is being made in Naples, where sweet San Marzano tomatoes are born from. You know when you sometimes have drops of grease coming out the end of your slice? Well this dripped sauce. Good, thick sauce. Not too much now, just a drip to let ya know they aren't messing about with processed oily mozzarella. We also ordered some buffalo wings which didn't disappoint. They weren't those little tiny things, they were juicy and not dried out either. I'm impressed, and I'm glad I'm in their delivery distance too. Already told my neighbors who had already tried them and agreed with me! What's with people not sharing this place? It's friggin good! Ordered a large steak sandwich to go with fried onions. Container provided with 6 ketchup packs. The sandwiches were cut in half and nicely packed in a ~10x10 take out box. This sandwich easily feeds two (2) people as it's packed with sliced steak meat which was nicely done. It comes on an Italian roll which was excellent. No inexpensive rolls here. Firstly the service was so nice! The young girls behind the counter were so polite, genuinely kind and I appreciated the coupon they applied to my order without asking. Secondly, the food was so amazing! The pizza was cooked perfect, the wings were well done & the antipasti was huge! Finally, I loved the custom pizza box and paper they use. It's nice to see how much love and pride they put into the business. I dont live in the area, was just visiting my grandfather for the weekend. The sausage & peppers was BURNT and oozing in grease! Ordered a NYC pie, cheeseburger, zeppoles and a fried chicken cutlet sandwich . Pie was a piece of dough oddly shaped with mozzarella on top. Dry as wood. Looks like they didn't even try. Fried chicken cutlet sandwich came grilled, my rare burger was cooked till it resembled a hockey puck and the zeppole tasted like onion rings from it being fried in the same oil obviously. We had an excellent meal last night for pickup in Forked River. The Antipasta was actually beautiful. We never received one with such eye appeal. Ordered a plain pizza, garlic knots and Caesar salad with everything going on trying to support local business... FIRST, I had the order picked up because of the virus trying to limit good changing hands...the old knots and pizza were both ICE COLD!! No small steam..no room temp like they both had been sitting out all day and we were given what couldn't be sold!!! The salad was good but took out close to a dozen pieces of brown lettuce I would honestly love to know when the garlic knots were from because you could smell how stale they were before you even bit it. Still have the benefit of the doubt and tried them and they were HORRIBLE. They were hard and tasted very old. I love garlic knots and have been to known to save leftovers for a day or maybe two and they NEVER tasted this old or bad. Plus the marinara sauce was extremely acidic and i saw it sitting on the top of the container as soon as I opened it. As far as the pizza you could taste the acidic marinara and the cheese had to be cheap due to how greasy it was. We just moved to Waretown from brick Tomsriver area , our mission was to find the best pizza around here it took 3 months 9 different places before we found this one , it was so good we aren't even going to try the last 3 places , in fact the pizza here is better then the pizza we were getting in brick and Tomsriver , all the great pizza placed closed after being open forever or sold out to new owners who couldn't fill their shoes hopefully this place stays open for a long time read more
