About 8 months ago I wrote a scathing review. Went back last week and I wanted to update you on…read morethe improvements. Il Guardino changed hands about 2 years ago and it went steadily downhill. I am happy yo report much improvement. The owners have completely renovated the restaurant and menu. The food was good. I had fish and my companion had a pasta dish. The service was very attentive and caring. They have many new plans and ideas for this restaurant. I think with time, it will be a "destination location " for this area. Try it!

The extensive menu has numerous options from Portuguese, Spanish and Italian dishes; of which I chose Chistorra as my appetizer and Seafood Nostra as my main. The Chistorra was served in a little iron pan with shrimp, sausage and mushrooms in a spicy brown sauce which was delicious. The Seafood Nostra was a nice blend of traditional seafood and linguine with a tasty tomato sauce. To top it off, Tiramisu which was a smaller slice, but was quite good too. Unfortunately the service was a bit cold and a little slow, but the food made up for it.

I was in the mood for a white pie, so I ordered take out from Anthony's Pizza & Grill. I've had their pizza before and always enjoyed it, but this white pie was exceptional! The crust was perfectly crispy, and it had just the right amount of garlic for that classic flavor. I ordered through the Slice app, and my meal arrived quickly, still piping hot and fresh.
