BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, GOOD TREATS. Ok, this place has been a family favorite for years. We have told neighbors and friends about it and everyone loves it. The cream puffs although a bit overpriced are worth every cent. HOWEVER, when advertising that strawberry will be sold for the holiday weekend and I come in 2 hours before close it is ABSOLUTELY NOT acceptable to be out of strawberry. This whole rule of only having strawberry on select holidays is BIZARRE. Strawberry is a summer flavor; have it all summer. I know it would sell. I'm not a Plain Jane, I swear...don't judge me! ;) Banana flavor is always hit and miss for me. I love coming here. It's a hidden little shop next to Lindenwold High School. The instant you walk in you're greeted with this warm, intoxicating smell of baked goodness. Your mouth literally starts to water! Behind the glass is a mountain of puff shells just teasing you, but the real magic is in the pastry cream they fill those empty puffs with. I could literally just eat straight out of the pastry bag! 3 flavors are always available: Vanilla, Pistachio, & Chocolate, with a 4th flavor rotation of banana or coconut. If it's the holidays it's pumpkin and strawberry as the 4th flavor in the summer. My personal favorite is pistachio, but all are very yummy! Great to bring to parties or serve as dessert. They are always a hit! Don't forget they are Closed every Monday & Tuesday. read more

At first look, Napoleon's Cremepuffery looks like a quaint house. Nothing distinguishes it besides the sign. It gives off an extremely homely vibe with even homelier people inside. They fill up the puffs on the spot and you can choose about 13(?) cream puffs for $10. The flavors they usually have are pistachio (Hands down the best), vanilla and chocolate, but sometimes they have specials. Their hours are kind of wonky so make sure they're open before you go! Awesome creampuffs. On the occasion I went, they had vanilla, chocolate, pistachio and banana. I really enjoyed the vanilla the best. I was sad they didn't have coconut as I was really looking forward to trying it. The pistachio has actual pieces of crushed pistachio in the cream! I was a bit disappointed with the banana, I was expecting a more real banana taste but it was more artificially tasting. Still good though. I always pass by this place and I only decided to come here now. The place was small and as I stepped inside the lady was in the middle of making the creme puffs. I told her it was my first time being there and she told me all about the place. I also asked her what's their most popular cream puff flavor and she said it was vanilla and made me try it. The flavor was light and not overpowering. I wanted to try every flavor which is vanilla, chocolate, pistachio and their seasonal flavor banana. She recommended I do the "buy 10 get 3 free" which I chose to do and was happy that I did! I brought the box to work and it was gone right away! Everyone loved it and so did I. OMG. I think I will be dreaming about these cream puffs for weeks. Yes, they are THAT GOOD. They are probably the BEST cream puffs I have ever had (even better than Beard Papa). I purchased 4 pieces ($5, $1.25 per piece) in the flavors vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, and banana. Ms. Napoleon (I am assuming) had brought out the tray of cream and I had noticed a pink bag and asked what flavor that was. Apparently they have seasonal flavors that must be pre-ordered and the flavor for Spring/Summer is strawberry. She kindly let me try it and WOW, it was amazing! The banana and coconut flavors alternate week by week, and I happen to have come when banana was offered. They always have vanilla, chocolate, and pistachio available. I would say strawberry and pistachio are my absolute favorites, with banana closely after. I wish I didn't have to pre-order the strawberry flavor since a Baker's dozen will probably be too much for just myself though it is the best bang for your buck at $12.50 for 13 pieces. You can order a tray of 50 for $54 and it will come nicely wrapped with a bow for special occasions though the price per piece will not be as good as the Baker's dozen. They also offer cookie bars and carrot cake. I will definitely be back to try the coconut flavor! read more

After we ate all of these on the way home a picked up another dozen. I think I'm gonna have a problem!!! Highly recommend!! The owner told me prices will be go up in a few days from $10 a dozen to $12.50 a dozen. She told me she hasn't raised prices for over three years. If you want creme puffs from here make the commitment and come early in the day. Like if they open at 9am I'd get there by noon. The later you come, the harder those creme puff shells get cause they've been sitting out all day. I've been coming to this Cremepuffery since 2004 and I've never looked back since. The cremepuffs are just a shell that sit out in stacks behind the glass. Their filling is refrigerated because when the cremepuffs sit out for a while, the filling kind of melts. You really can't go wrong with any flavor you choose. Your choices are vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, (and seasonal rotating flavors: banana, cocounut and strawberry). I've never tried the rotating fall flavor: pumpkin. For just under $10 you can walk out with a baker's dozen (13) of cremepuffs with your choice of powdered sugar sprinkled atop. I've never had their butter cookie bars, but they always look fresh and moist and the ones with fruit topping look fantastic. If you're not a local make sure you drive slowly/carefully when you're looking for it. It's located in a tall, pale yellow "strip mall" that looks like it used to be an, old Victorian home. Also if you don't like artificial flavoring, skip the banana and pistachio. And don't forget they'll let you taste all the creams before stuffing yer puffs. read more
