I have need coming to Napoli since I was a child. It is great for pizza , pasta, salads , or pizza pops or calzones . Being a vegetarian it is great that I can order a pizza pop and choose. Vegetables inside instead of sausage. I ordered mushrooms and peppers.. both my friend and I both enjoyed our meals. I just recently found out that some of the desserts are from Alysa's cakery in Wallingford. The Lemoncello was very delicious. I was told they make cannolis and tiramisu and house.. My wife and I have been to Napoli many times, but tonight was more than incredible. We shared an appetizer of Stuffed Mushrooms, which were great. Then we both has Chicken Sorrentino, which was beyond belief. The meal came with soup or salad, I had chicken tortellini soup, my wife had the salad. The grinder ingredients: sausage, mozzarella, red sauce and bread, leave an unmistakable mark of quality, taste and home cooked care and preparation. I suspect Napoli's may be under new management. I've gone there for over 10 years but not going back. the flavor of the pizza was rather bland, it has gone down considerably recently. I was there at 5:00 and the place was empty. In the past the seats were full and a waiting line for pick ups. Not any more, I guess I'm not the only one changing their mind about Napoli's. read more

The only downside is that the waiters can be a bit rushed and not very friendly - it feels like we're bothering them. This might be because they are usually very busy with a lot of customers. I was quite disappointed in Napoli's. I'm originally from CT and had their pizza as a kid and as an adult. I've moved down south and came back to visit family for the holidays. I always try to get my fill of pizza while here. Although I was very dissatisfied with the pizza. It was under cooked, lacked flavor, the sausage was weird small slices, and the margarita pizza red was absolutely drowning in sauce and did not have sliced tomatoes.... On top of that we waited over half an hour to be seated. I was seeing family I only get to see once a year, and the hostess had the nerve to come to our table after we finished our pizza and ask us to leave. I found it to be very rude. We had people in our party using the restroom and trying to finish our drinks. I understand there was a wait, we had to wait but to ask a party to leave like that after we spent over 100 on pizza is absolutely absurd! Btw, bathrooms were filthy. I definitely won't be back ever again as I can think of a dozen different pizza places much better than Napoli's that wouldn't do what they did. read more

I usually get their grilled chicken salad & substitute mozzarella for the Gorgonzola (not a stinky cheese fan). There's so much spinach and it's so good for you. Last night I got the Four Seasons salad and added chicken. This salad does not disappoint! The food tastes great for it's price and the service is professional and prompt. This place is usually where my boyfriend and I would dine out when we want to go somewhere a bit nicer than a local restaurant, but also not have a restaurant chain atmosphere. The dining area is small but well lit. There's seating for indoors and outdoors but I always prefer the indoors for their heating and cooling. Bathrooms are clean and there should be enough parking for customers since the restaurant is within a plaza.
