I have been going here for years. The food here is always delicious. The staff here is always friendly and knowledgeable. I love the aesthetics of the inside. I was just there this past Sunday and my daughter and I both ordered calzones and bruschetta as an appetizer. Absolutely delicious.

I have need coming to Napoli since I was a child. It is great for pizza , pasta, salads , or pizza pops or calzones . Being a vegetarian it is great that I can order a pizza pop and choose. Vegetables inside instead of sausage. I ordered mushrooms and peppers.. both my friend and I both enjoyed our meals. I just recently found out that some of the desserts are from Alysa's cakery in Wallingford. The Lemoncello was very delicious. I was told they make cannolis and tiramisu and house.. It is always a great meal here.

My wife and I have been to Napoli many times, but tonight was more than incredible. We shared an appetizer of Stuffed Mushrooms, which were great. Then we both has Chicken Sorrentino, which was beyond belief. The meal came with soup or salad, I had chicken tortellini soup, my wife had the salad. My soup tasted like my mother's chicken soup, it was fantastic. The wait staff was comprised of young people who worked their tails off to make it a great night. Outstanding night!

I love Napoli's calzones and have been enjoying them since 1975. I no longer live here but I always get my calzone every time I visit. It's delicious full of ricotta and mozzarella wrapped in a perfectly baked dough. The sauce is excellent as well. I always get the plain cheese. I highly recommend!!

I usually don't expect too much from restaurants in a plaza, but Napoli blew me out of the water! We went for dinner on a Saturday night, there was a small wait but we were seated and helped quickly. The waitstaff brought over a steaming basket of fresh baked bread- Score! We ordered wine and we're blessed with the heavy hand of the bartender - Another win! Then came the main dishes: penna alla vodka & the rigatoni summer special. These were delectable!! Large flavorful portions of pasta, doused in their respective sauces, garnished with freshly chopped herbs & spices *Chefs Kiss* I will without a doubt be heading back here!

Outdoor dining here is top-tier! The whole patio is covered so no one has to suffer sitting in that one none-shades spot- it's simply lovely! The food is also excellent-- large portions, great red sauce-- Napoli's doesn't miss!

Best Sausage Grinder. Fresh mushrooms, peppers and onion and oh that Italian bread..!!!

Napoli Pizza, imo, is the real deal, yes I'm confident I can say that after only one visit. The grinder ingredients: sausage, mozzarella, red sauce and bread, leave an unmistakable mark of quality, taste and home cooked care and preparation. Make no mistake, Napoli makes an excellent sausage, fresh mushroom, pepper and onion grinder!!! Service was very attentive with my order arriving much sooner than I expected as it was very busy. I rarely write a 5 Star review on my first visit as I like to see if a restaurant is consistent in food quality, service and hospitality on the revisit. Napoli Pizza is the kind of place you wished was located much closer making repeat visits easier and more frequent. If you are hunting for an Italian restaurant experience sure to please, stop by; give'm a try; I am sure you'll be similarly impressed as I was.

Mozarella sticks were delicious! We also had Penne Alla Vodka and created our own pizza. 10/10

Went for the first time today and it was delicious! Waitress was super friendly and attentive. We sat outside, everything was super tidy and we got to see the garden where they grown their own vegetables and herbs. 100% would recommend and will be going back soon!

If you like New Haven style pizza, which is arguably the 'esemplare' of all pizza, then visiting The Little Rendezvous is a MUST visit if you live within 90-min. Plan a trip to visit some store you want to go to, a beach visit or whatever, just find a way to circle The Little Rendezvous into the trip! The crust is thin with a crackery-crunch, the sauce is at a another level and the mozz and roni are high-quality deliciousness! Rendezvous stands tall with any of the well known top-3 pizza joints in New Haven. Dave's score of 9.1 (if you are unaware of the reference, then pizza isn't your thing) is right on point, and I'd go as far as scoring it slightly higher at a 9.2 based on my visit. The building is something out of folklore. The building is all of about 20ft. wide, and when you enter, it is immediate, Steve (owner/chef) is all about the pizza. To be clear, most will consider Rendezvous to be take-out only. There is zero decor, less signs made with cardboard and sharpie notifying you that wait times of hours are real..... so be sure to call ahead. You walk past the most basic seating area of 3-4 small tables with bare walls, and then proceed to walk down an oddly long and narrow sloping hallway which leads you to the service counter/kitchen which houses the 130-year old oven! It's honestly something you could only imagine out of a movie...... the hole in the wall that is creating high-quality, delicious pizzas! Why or how you ask? The answer is simple, Steve! The guy clearly has a passion for making pizza and has dedicated his life to doing so. I met the 'man-the myth-the legend' on my visit, and he kindly even took the time to chat with me. Bucket-list item checked off! Overall score = 5.0!!!

We arrived early on, what I thought was off hours and ordered in person, the wait time was 4 hours. I don't live far so it was easy to come back. The dining area is tight and pretty basic, so plan on wooden bench in limited space if you are dining in. I would also recommend calling way in advance with your order. As far as pizza goes, I have had the opportunity to sample most of the high profile places and understand why this place deserves to be on the list. The crust is pretty fantastic and overall a really good pie. When we went, there was no line. The grab and go was super simple, cash only. Order ahead, plan accordingly, and enjoy.

Service was OK. I think because I tipped at the time of the order the food was brought to the table. The woman was on the phone when we got there, so we waited a little but it was ok. It was all just ok. The pizza we ordered was burnt and not the good kind of char you expect from a brick oven (and as someone who loves Pepe's, I hope I know the difference). Still, we ate it because we had already paid, and we didn't have time to go anywhere else. The salad was just okay, though I will say the ranch dressing tasted homemade, which was a nice touch. The bacon was stale The biggest downside was the cleanliness. The restaurant was dusty and dirty. There was a steady stream of people coming in and out for takeout orders the whole time we were there, which makes me wonder if our experience was just a fluke, or if the regulars simply like it that way. As we were leaving, my son turned to me and said, "Mom, I thought you picked the place with the best pizza." I laughed because he was right, this time, the reviews were wrong, for us at least. Would I order again? Probably not. But the atmosphere and steady business made me curious enough to maybe give it another shot, just with very lower expectations. And for take out.

There are many other pizzerias in the area so it comes down personal preference and price. The chicken cutlet sandwich was a decent size and delicious. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every pie they make. It's that kind of pizza where you immediately know you'll be thinking about it later.
