We wanted to go some place new to us for dinner and decided to give Napoli's a try. Based on the majority of good reviews, I was expecting a great dinner. The space is beautiful and I love that the chandeliers look like clusters of grapes. Unfortunately, not all that glitters is gold. Our food was very lackluster and was in desperate need of flavor. Our waitress was very scatterbrained. She asked my fiance if he'd like another Coke and acknowledged his response that he'd love a refill. When she finally returned to our table 15 minutes later, it was to see if we needed boxes. No refill appeared. Then on the way to get our check, she asked if wanted another Coke, oblivious of the previous interaction. I noticed the table next to us, who had a different waiter, was not impressed with the service they were receiving either. Had to check out Napoli. I was greeted by the hostess and seated with my friends. They have lovely round tables that are great for a group conversation. We had the cheese bread which was delicious. Then, to my surprise, we were served a salad that came with the entree. I had the Niccola chicken which was very yummy. Although we were stuffed, we had to try a few desserts. They were all fabulous too. It was a great night and everything was delicious. We were not rushed which we appreciated. The food tasted fresh and the meals were priced well. Tried this place per their Yelp pics & reviews. Free rolls are the best part of this establishment. Ordered Italian soda & received a cup of ice with a can of San Pelligrino, not a made Italian soda that other restaurants would serve. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms that look really good but the cheesy marinara sauce over powers the stuffed mushrooms. I ordered the chicken Piccata, nothing special & better at other places. My husband got some sausage pasta thing, same thing. One of the workers was walking around on her cell phone & talking so loud the entire time. The waiter asked if we wanted fresh parm, he brought us a bowl of parm that looked like what you buy at the store. Also, brought us salads without asking what dressing we wanted so we both ended up with Ranch which is not normally what my husband orders. $80 meal, not worth it. read more

From a Jersey that grew up in an Italian neighborhood. Napoli's food is not what is known as traditional Italian . Meatballs: they were rubbery and tasted a lot like "frozen" from costco. The mozzarella cheese that is used is definitely a very low quality that when it cools it congeals into a plastic shiny consistency.. Baked Italian combo dinner. One item described as ziti noodle pasta actually the pasta noodle served in the dish is a penne pasta noodle. The lasagna had very little ricotta cheese very heavy on a mushy beef filling. The sauce is not cooked enough it is raw pizza marinara sauce. I spent $50 on a dinner that was so disappointed. read more

My wife and I'd favorite Italian restaurant in the Valley. Service is always great and location is fantastic for us that live in Sandy or Midvale. I highly recommend as mentioned in most reviews their dinner rolls/complimentary bread are fantastic, the spicy marinara with the frutti de mare is best in state and the desserts also hit the spot. We use to travel up to Roy Utah just to be able to eat their food. So glad there is a closer location and I have brought my Nonna here who had her eyes roll back while eating the breads and pastas. For an Italian there is no higher praise. Well done Napoli's! read more

Finally, great Italian in Utah. They've only been open for a couple of weeks, but their staff is great and their food is fabulous. I had the Gorganozla, asparagus, chicken, prosciutto, and penne in the best Gorgonzola sauce I've ever had. My friend had the chicken Parmesan, he always says that it is the dish that he always tries the first time in an Italian restaurant. My boyfriend offered to take me to dinner on a Saturday night and after an hour of me being indecisive, we landed on Napoli's Italian. I am SO SATISFIED and happy we chose to go here. The service was quick and friendly. They offered recommendations and extra rolls to take home with my leftovers at the end. We ordered the Bruschetta, Frutti di Mare, Modo Mio, and ended with the house made Tiramisu! The entrees came with side salads and the portions are very generous. Costco meatballs! We were excited to try this new restaurant and ordered the meatball appetizer, burrata and spaghetti and meatballs. I am 1000% positive that the meatballs were the frozen ones you buy at Costco. The spaghetti was over cooked, but the burrata appetizer was great. Decent quality but way overpriced. read more

Napoli's is a DELICIOUS Italian resturaunt. The fettuccini was so creamy and cheesy. The lasagna was pretty decent. The Chicken parmigiana was overcooked and kinda bleh. But the bread smacks! The rolls were some of the best I've ever had! I'd go there just to buy another dozen to take home! The waiter was really funny and chill. She took a picture of my family for Mother's Day and was just overall amazing. It was a very nice interior (Don't wear sport shorts like I did) and was fairly fancy. We went to Napoli's from a recommendation from my daughter. The bread was really good but the dipping sauce ( oil and balsamic vinegar) had to much oil in it for my liking. My husband is a huge fan of The Olive Garden because he can eat the never eating soup with bread sticks and his favorite dish, carbonara that has shrimp and chicken in it. He missed that when he ordered the carbonara he at Napoli's. It was really good but just had small chuncks of pancetta in it. I ordered the chicken napoli's. It was good but tasted and looked a little watered down? The server was good until the end of our meal. It took forever for him to bring our to go box and check. I do want to try it one more time. I love meat marinara and want to order the Italian combo. Hopefully there will be something that my husband tries that he really likes as well. :-) read more

This location has had several different restaurants in it, none great. Napoli's was a pleasant surprise. First off no alcoholic beverages so that is counterintuitive to Italian dining in my book. The server (who was attentive the entire meal) came out with very tasty rolls that were warm and so fluffy. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms which were very good, the sauce is to die for and my rolls were used to clean the plate. My two guests ordered the combo plate and the lasagna, which the both commented that the dishes were nothing special, ok but not great. I ordered the salmon piccata and what a flavor fest! The salmon was grilled perfectly with little tinges of char and liberally decorated with flavorful capers. The sauce was not normal piccata where one would expect the overuse of olive oil. This sauce was very light and drizzled over spaghetti noodles and artichoke hearts. Very well done indeed. For desert the crème brûlée was good as reported (I don't care for the dish) and I split the Limoncello cake. We should have ordered two, I was blamed for taking more than half. It is very light but has great flavor, frankly I could have eaten two. Diner ran $160 for three people which a fair price. We will return to check out some other dishes. One thing that was nice, the fact it is a quiet restaurant so we could talk and listen without staining, would it be the same if they got a liquor license? Maybe it was worth the dining sobriety. read more

For a restaurant that has only been open for 5 months, they are off to a great start. I started with the house salad with Italian dressing. Perfect start to a delicious meal. I had the signature dish chicken Napoli, which was served with two boneless skinless chicken breasts that were extremely moist. Flavored with asparagus, dried tomatoes and mushrooms and zesty Italian seasoning that has an amazing flavor. I travel a lot and look for places like this using yelp. This is a must try. Ordered take out from here last night. When I arrived, the host and staff were so sweet and professional. There was a wait on my order and the host kindly offered me water to enjoy during my wait. The inside of the restaurant is SO beautiful as well. Once I arrived home with my food, I found that they packaged it perfectly to sure transport. They wrapped the containers and added extra security for spills. The second we opened the containers, we were so excited for the food. It smelled so delicious!! They food was great, the service was great, it was a bit high priced but the quality proved why. We ordered the mushroom crab appetizer, Alfredo tortellini, and the Italian sausage dish.
