Went to this back alley joint upon the demand of my mom which she also has slight dementia. I relocated thru 5 states to take care of her and this restaurant was her last minute pick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat down and noticed that there was only 2 souls seated in this dimly lit, solidly ill feeling dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mom and me. The only woman hesitantly and insecurely who came to our table was the wait person. That body language should have been taken as a red flag. To my surprise, the menu had way too many options for such a vacant place to eat. As I put down the over exaggerated menu, a hurried and busy COCKROACH was fleeing toward my person. I felt shock. I felt instantaneous self preservation and swiped the area in front of me like a robot with said menu. Bam! All the silverware hit the next isle of old dated red booths. It was so loud because of the enormous vacancy of people to absorb any sound, that it scared me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I couldn't believe that my body shared any space in a restaurant with a bundle of COCKROACHES and pregnant cockroaches which probably were all hatched after we left the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Never in a million seconds would I make this mistake again. Never would any of you readers will ever patronize this restaurant because you are reading this review. By the way, the cockroach did not die. It just ran underneath those red dated booths next to me. I spent the entire rest of the visit, watching the entire table until we left. Wow I can't believe how bad and downhill our favorite Italian place in Chickasha has turned into. I ordered the seafood linguine dish last night and the pasta was totally overcooked to the point where all linguine was mushy and soggy, breaking into pieces. It felt like a bad frozen dinner. The seafood was rubbery and not fresh. Also I ordered and paid for my Tiramisu and it was not in the bag. When I called to let them know instead of being helpful and rectifying the situation they got hostile and defensive and was very rude. Nope. A Tuesday night and 4 couples. Two wait staff couldn't be bothered to take our food order. We ordered shrimp and Scallop Alfredo AND chicken capisesi. Both we not edible. We got in quick to be seated. The restaurant appears clean and quiet. The hostess and waitress were both polite. Plates were $10-14 each. Bread was provided before the meal. The food was just ok. Great, authentic Italian; wonderful dinner rolls. Servings are ample and fresh. Salads could be improved; fresh-served Parmesan and fresh cracked, along with cloth napkins would be nice. Their quality of food merits these upgrades, but then the prices would very likely have to be raised to cover them. Lower prices would probably trump niceties after all. read more

I've lived in Chickasha my whole life and Napoli's has never been that great, but today my sister and I came in for lunch and it was really disappointing. Her eggplant was soggy and extremely greasy, while my Alfredo was just bland and the chicken was unappealing. Plus our bread was burnt! The service is always fine and not much of an issue. This is the 2nd time I have come here... the 1st was memorable enough that I came back a 2nd time. The bread is always a plus. This time I got the seafood linguini tuttomare for $15.95 and was somewhat disappointed. It was runny and the shrimp was overcooked There were a few mussels and tiny pieces of clamp, the size of chopped garlic svattered throughout. I am not usually one to send it back, but since the waitress mentioned it, I accepted. I got it back a few minutes later with a little less sauce, but still very soupy. The shrimp were replaced as well, but they were still somewhat tasteless. I refused to send it back a 2nd time... the sauce should have been condensed more. The waitress Rose, however, was phenomenal and took care of part of the bill... stating that since she had recommended it, it is one of their specialty items and a popular dish. I got the chocolate covered tiramsu. .. and slap me silly... it was outstanding. .. Who knew that you can make a good tiramsu better with chocolate. Skeptics should try it for good measure. Based on the 1st experience of a 4.5 star and the unfornate food quality but awesome customer service of this visit at a 3 star, I think a 4 star overall is warranted. The waitress did get a $10 tip as a sign of her going above and beyond her call of duty. read more

Not good. They smother everything in their flavorless sauces in attempt to hide their mediocrity and the authenticity is laughable. I had the calamari appetizer and the lobster ravioli tonight. The calamari was bland and chewy, and the dipping sauce they gave me was sad. Someone needs to give them a lesson on marinara. The filling tasted frozen, it was absolutely smothered in their "alla panna" sauce, and the complimentary bread was doughy and lacking salt. We even ended up ordering takeout because the wait staff is so unfriendly and the atmosphere so uncomfortable. I will certainly never be back. read more

The service was wonderful! We could not have asked for better. I ordered the Lasagna and a friend ordered the Chicken Alfredo. The bread was wonderful. Then we got our meals. The Lasagna tasted like it came straight from a Chef Boyardee can, poured into a bowl, and a pound of cheese on top. The Chicken Alfredo was not great either. The chicken tasted like it was from a can and was pink in color once you got past the Alfredo sauce. We were dissatisfied impresswith the food, but again the service was wonderful. read more

Ummmmm what to say. If you love the meat drowning in sauce this place might be for you. Service was good. But even the salad were pretty basics and have the 10 dishes we ordered all were just poor. What a little gem! Drove to Chickasha to see the Festival of Lights and via Yelp, found this local eatery - So glad I did! I will no longer be fearful that I'll have nothing to eat if I find myself in Chickasha again. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and the inside decor is nothing to write home about, but the food was super YUMMY! The Hubby and I started out with dinner salads (usual fare; pleased with the freshness) and a creamy marinara dipping sauce for the complimentary homemade garlic rolls. This is the perfect time for me to note the one (IMO) downside to the place: the portions here are on the "ridiculously large" scale. I was expecting the $2.95 dipping sauce to be a dipping sauce portion - instead, we received a full, large dinner bowl. Thank goodness we only dipped one roll a piece (otherwise I'd need to run a full 5K to burn off all the calories) - the reason I consider this a downside is that I end up feeling terrible for all the waste.... Anyhow, I digress - they had several sauce options (4 or 5) - the creamy marinara was okay to good. The hubby had the Stromboli, while I tried the eggplant rollatini. His review = Good! My review = super YUMMY!!! I rarely order baked pasta dishes, as I'm a bit particular about my melted cheeses, but this dish's main melted cheese was ricotta, rather than (my least fav cheese) mozzarella. The ricotta was melted just perfectly - very much enjoyed this plate! Add the large dinner salads, and a roll the size of a cinnamon bun, we both only ate about 1/4 of our entrées. While I love leftovers, I have a thing against leftover baked pastas, so the waste was about another couple's worth of food. Sad :( Prices were extremely reasonable. If back in town, will definitely eat here again! If you go (which I do recommend) bring your "big boy" appetite. read more

Please heed my warning. Don't believe these positive reviews, they're either written by the restaurant staff or by people with very poor standards. My wife and I ate here 2 nights ago (on a Friday at 7:15) on our way back to OKC, and we will never make that mistake again. No one greeted us when we walked in and the booth seats are very uncomfortable. There was also a strange odor, like an old refrigerator, that we noticed as we came in. Neither of those things are a big deal, but the food is where this restaurant really falls short. The amazing rolls that you read about in these other reviews are simply dinner rolls with a little garlic on them. I ordered the chicken arrabiata and my wife had the chicken parmigiana with a house salad. She had the house Italian dressing, which was actually not bad, but they put so much on as to render the salad inedible. The 'marinara' on her chicken parm tasted almost exactly like Chef Boyardee, complete with little crumbles of hamburger meat. The breading was like what you would find on a chicken fried steak, and it was entirely too much. The white wine cream sauce with my dish was very watery, like thin soup. The chicken on both our plates was bland and tasted like bag chicken. Everything about our food tasted cheap and poorly thought out. If you are in Chickasha and crave Italian food, just drive the 35 minutes to OKC, you can throw a rock there and hit a dozen places that will leave you more satisfied. I can't believe this place stays in business. I will say that the gentleman, I think his name was Matt Cowell, who was playing live music was very enjoyable. Maybe I'm sheltered, but this is the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I had the shrimp alvino...SO AMAZING! Sauce was flavorful and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Service was quick for lunch. Drinks were promptly refilled as they got low and the server brought extra napkins as soon as requested. The bread was the perfect accompaniment to the dish to sop up that glorious sauce! read more
