I thought the decor and ambiance was classic Italian stereotype but in a super awesome way. They had the drippy candles and the soft lighting. Apps...decent. The mushrooms were stuffed but didn't have a ton of flavor. I got the Chicken Othello which would have come with spaghetti and tomato sauce but the waitress suggested extra cream sauce-excellent choice! Hubs got the lasagna with sausage. He wasn't a huge fan but he said it was pretty good. Kiddo got the penne Alfredo and crispy chicken. I snagged a bite of chicken and it was great! Penne Alfredo with sausage was another winner. We took home the regular and chocolate cannolis. The filling was great but the shells were a bit soft. I wasn't a fan of the chocolate dipped. It was too much chocolate for me. They weren't filled all the way so it was a little disappointing. The service was a bit slow but it was Fathers Day and it was busy. They have a patio so if you have a large party they can accommodate. There was a paid parking lot across the street but it's free on Sundays. Definitely going to go back! read more

we live in Norman and it has been years since we have been there . We went tonight after years of not going there for the Tuesday special which is the veal parmigiana which is hard to find at most italian restaurants we started with the stuffed mushrooms which were really cheesy so happy wife we both ordered the veal and it and the sauce were good. The people were all so polite & took care of us, even though we were 5 minutes late for our reservation, they made nothing of it, just sat us as the table was available. A girlfriend and I stopped in for a late dinner. As we walked in the aroma brought delicious memories reminding us of the best local family Italian restaurants from our hometowns. We were greeted promptly and seated. The server was training a new employee both of them were very attentive, Ryland and Skylar. We enjoyed a couple of apps - meatballs and cheese sticks. Both were very good! Then ordered the steak special. It literally was cooked perfectly, melted in the mouth and fabulous flavor. As for sides we enjoyed gnocchi and Nancy's Pasta. It was prepared perfectly. To complete the meal we enjoyed their speciality - coconut cream pie. I can sincerely say it was the best coconut cream I've ever had. We got a garlic rolls with cheese and came with a small bowl of marinara sauce as the appetizer. We order the special which was a spicy tortellini, I think there was sausage, either way it was good just the right amount of kick. We also ordered a build your own pasta with Rigatoni with breaded chicken and tomato sauce and it was really good hit the spot. We did order a Cannoli as a dessert and that was amazing. Saw the add for half price pizza and live music so decided to pop in!! Immediately loved the atmosphere.. Definitely a place I could come to often and vibe to. I sat at the bar and was asked how I was and given both drink/food menus which was nice although the guy(Gabe) had somewhat of a dry personality. After that I was left unattended for about 15 minutes,I had to ask to order. The food was good,service wasn't terrible but also didn't make me feel very welcomed. The breaded chicken was crunchy outside and moist inside - perfect. Good wine selection as well. If you don't know Italian food the Olive Garden or canned spaghetti will work. The absolute worst service I have ever had. There 40 minutes and I had to ask for us to see a waitress

Our group paid a reservation fee ahead of time for 20, arrived and they only had room for 16, proceeded to tell us to work four more chairs in somewhere. Some pastas were decent to good, both pizzas were nasty. One was soggy/mushy to the point you didn't want to grab a slice, so nobody did. The second was basically a Tony's frozen pizza that was soft and underdone (even after ordering it well done/crispy), and had zero flavor. Our waitress was great. We had bad experience and food a few years ago, thought we'd try again since it was a friends birthday. Nah, never again. If ai want Italian, I'll go to DONI on 36th or at least three other Italian restaurants in Norman. read more

Their food is so good I swear they put drugs in it. I got the vegetable soup it was incredible. Followed that with the shrimp scampi. It was amazing. Perfectly fine! The waitress knew the menu like the back of her hand. Knew everythung that was in every dish. Anyway I go for the food.... But there were these awesome candles there . First time going to Othello's. It was nice. Similar to other Italian Restaurants. The unique feature for them was this candle on each table that had multiple different colors cause it was multiple candles over several years melting on top of each other. My friend got pasta with mussles (might be spelling that wrong) in them. I made my own Alfredo pasta with chicken. Everything was good. Server was great! Super nice, wasn't pushy, and was very attentive to our needs. Definitely would reccommend others to visit! read more

Super-cute Italian restaurant. Aperol spritzes were fantastic, as was the garlic bread! We started The Taster appetizer, which was good. A few of us were intrigued by the Artichoke Parmigiana, but were disappointed when it came out. It was just a weird presentation. There are a number of other dishes on the menu that I look forward to trying on future visits. My niece was happy that she was able to order her meatballs (without cheese) and she thought they were delicious. Honestly very solid food across the board. I was super delighted by the Lasagna. It brought back good memories about home. We enjoyed the garlic rolls and pepperoni chips. Service was amazing. However gotta dock you one star for not having the Gnocchi. That's pretty important for us. It's one of our favorites. I will however revise this review if you have gnocchi the next time we come.
