Fabulous Italian food! Creative dishes cooked to perfection! Cozy restaurant. Chef is a genius. Love this restaurant!

We searched for a place to eat while in Oklahoma and decided on Sergio's Italian Bistro. I ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Martini with some waters and the Gnoocchi and Garlic Bread with Mozzarella. I'm a little surprised the Martini was creamy, but it was good. Both appetizers were good. A basket of bread and olive oil was also brought to the table. We then ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Baked with both Alfredo and red sauce, the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken Breast, and last, the Prosciutto & Fig pizza. Our guest also ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and something with pesto. Everyone seemed to enjoy their entrees, but I wasn't impressed. It's made with all ingredients I like, but I feel it lacked flavor. I ate one piece and took the rest with me and just ended up throwing it out at the hotel. The restaurant was nice as was the staff. Restaurant is small and cute, our waiter was very friendly and attentive, but I just don't think the food is worth the price. I had the wild pizza, it was mediocre and kinda bland. My husband got the angel hair pasta with garlic and oil, he enjoyed his food. Charging $19 for 2 small cannolis is insane!!!! I was shocked when I saw how expensive they were, and they weren't the best I've had. The shell reminded me more of baklava than a traditional cannoli shell. The table near us didn't seem happy with their food either, they had to ask for salt and pepper which tells me it was bland. Don't plan to return. Prices are crazy high for bland food. read more

Our first visit and it was on a Sunday. Servers are super nice and fun to interact with and seem to be family. There was a guitarist that was super chill and very talented. We had the crab cake Benedict and the egg was perfectly poached but the crab cakes were a little mushy. We also had the goat cheese and spinach ravioli was super tasty. My husband's carbonarro was a tad bland. We will be back to try more things. read more

The Waitress we had was such a doll, she was sweet, considerate, and knew just what suggest. Since we had been on the road for 2 days we needed took the time to take a restroom break in which case the bathrooms were small but clean and tidy. We started off with "stuffed Mushrooms"appetizer which was super delicious. I am stationed over seas I haven't had the opportunity to have manicotti since the last time I was in the states. All around great experience! There are very few Italian restaurants with vegan options but Sergio's offers a lot of great plates. We started with the vegan cheesy garlic bread. Whatever vegan cheese they use is the best I've ever had. We also ordered the artichoke parmigiana & vegan pizza. The artichoke parm came with a side of homemade pasta with marinara sauce. So delicious. The vegan pizza was great & very flavorful. Really delicious crust. They even have vegan Parmesan! Our server, Daud (not sure how they spell it) was so friendly & attentive! We got a box for leftovers & he bagged them up for us! We enjoyed dinner on the patio which is enclosed by a beautiful trellis & lots of plants. 10/10 recommend checking them out! A friend and I decided to do Sunday Brunch at Sergio's and I had heard they have live music on Sundays. There was indeed live music, but the place is so small the only place to put the one-person show is right at the front door and you can't really see them from your table. First impression: parking lot is almost non-existent. There are maybe a handful of spots near the front door and if you drive around back it's all reserved for Mr. Robert's which is ridiculous, there is no way they need that much parking. There is a small patio that is closed in with garden trellises and upon entering there is a podium for host/hostess in front, a small space for a keyboard (or harp) to the right corner and to the left there is a bar. If you keep moving to the right there is another room with tables. The space is a little darker than I would have preferred, but you can't still read the menu so not a deal breaker. Our waitress was very attentive, although she brought my friend and I three biscuits which seemed weird. Were we supposed to each have one and fight over the one remaining? The food was pretty good. I am not much of a pasta person and that is what they mostly serve; heavy pasta dishes like lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. My friend went the brunch route and got Crab Cake Benedict. It look good, but she said it didn't have enough seasoning. I got Spaghetti allá Carbonara and it was probably the best thing I've had in a long time. I like going to independently-owned restaurants. My friends and myself had a very enjoyable time at Sergio's yesterday, especially considering the delightful wait-person, Anna. What a breath of fresh air! My Fettuccine Alfredo was really delicious. HOWEVER...three of our table of five got the Eggplant Parmesan. All ate their side dish of pasta that came with it, all took the eggplant home. Why? It was rubbery. If there is one thing that one who cooks ANYTHING eggplant needs to know is that it has to be cooked well without a HINT of rubbery-ness. To the chef: the slices of eggplant need roasting in the oven nicely breaded & spiced until they are completely soft and rich-tasting in the middle, crispy on the outside. No Italian restaurant should serve rubbery Eggplant Parmesan...please. read more

What a delight it is to dine at Sergio's! You can always count on delicious entrees, sides and drinks. The beef stroganoff was honestly the best I've ever had. The salmon was cooked to absolute perfection. We love Ana, who has served us on several occasions. She's friendly, professional, and knows how to make us feel welcome. Quaint authentic Italian restaurant with great food and service. Had the beef stroganoff which was delicious and also had the stuffed mushrooms and tortellini in Alfredo sauce. Sergio's has an inviting atmosphere and very friendly and attentive service. Ethan took great care of us and made sure we got our drinks and appetizer at the happy hour price before 6:00. The food was all absolutely delicious. It was a 100° the day we went, but we want to return soon to enjoy their beautiful lattice-framed patio with greenery. This is local comfort food. We stopped by after seeing the favorable Yelp reviews while traveling back to Texas. It's a really small shack like restaurant where our hostess was also our server! We really enjoyed our pasta. Loved the cheese in the ziti! The fettuccine was creamy and rich, but the bread was comparable to the rolls you buy at the grocery store. The calamari was really good, but there was hardly any served on the plate. Great service and a clean establishment! Everyone working there was friendly and attentive. I feel as if, if I lived here locally then I would be ordering to go pasta on occasion, but if you're like us traveling through town then it isn't anything you necessarily need to go out of your way for! There isn't better Italian food than Sergio's in Norman! It's fresh and made from scratch to order. NOTHING is frozen and then reheated. FRESH FRESH FRESH ingredients! The service is always terrific (but it can get busy for the dinner rush) so be patient. Have a glass of wine and enjoy the herb patio garden. Sergio uses those fresh herbs in his cooking. We met for lunch. Two ladies had incredible salads with an assortment of fruit and veggies, which were delicious! I had the ziti. My ziti was still bubbling, so I took my time. DELICIOUS! I thought I would need a box to take leftovers , but I ate it all, it was that good. We shared a piece of chocolate cheesecake which was very good.
